The fj cruiser synopsis, how does it stack?
The fj cruiser handles very well, the worst part easily comes from the fact that its mpg is low, everything else is the perfect SUV/truck hybrid. It can handle almost any terrain and Toyota makes such great quality vehicles so everyone's happy. Would buy again.

It's unique and very capable off roading! Can camp inside as well.
I love the unique look. I love how capable it is when off-roading!

Turn heads in an fj cruiser.
I love my fj cruiser. It is sporty but practical. The size is perfect and it is comfortable to drive. I have had no mechanical problems. It is 4wd so gas mileage is not as good as if it wasn't but having 4wd is a plus for winter and off road. There's plenty of room in the back end with a door that swings open for easy access.

Why I love my fj so much!!
This is a car that was recommended to me by a few close friends who have owned an fj. I haven't had any issues with the car since owning it (1 year ago). The car rides very comfortably and is great for my family with young kids. My favorite feature is how the doors open to make packing the car easy for road trips.

Fj cruiser positives and negatives.
This car is still running perfectly after eight years. Some downsides include, some blind spots, no sunroof due to the wiring being in the roof, and the gas mileage which is not very sustainable. The car runs beautifully, and is very zippy and compact for such a large appearance. The car is wide, but very short and without the roof rack can fit anywhere. I highly suggest this car for a single person or a couple because the front and passenger seat are very comfortable, but the back seats and very cramped and not ideal for a family. The car is also great for outdoor lovers because all the seats (including passenger) can come down and it has a roof rack for great storage, and can handle almost any kind of terrain as long as the driver is experienced enough.

Pros and cons of an FJ-Cruiser
The FJ cruiser is an amazing car. Very safe: feels as if you're driving a tank and nothing can harm you. Only downfall is gas consumption.

Toyota fj is simply amazing.
We have not had any performance problems or reliability problems thus far. The back seat area is not comfortable or spacious enough. Those are our only issues. There needs to be double the rear space. Also prefer to have full doors to the back seats.

Cool, sporty, Toyota is fun to drive!
The style is so very unique! Every time I walk up to it, I just smile! The colors are even unique. The dash is very sporty, not fancy fake wood. Even though it is tough and can drive over rocks, creaks, logs, etc, it turns on a dime and is very smooth. It is a Toyota, so it is reliable by default. It does have a bit of a problem with blind spots. The rear C panels are thick and wide resulting in a little difficulty looking back to a side.

Toyota fj cruiser, a smart choice!
The performance is absolutely great. The car is very tough, it can go through a lot with no damage at all. I love the four wheel drive and what the vehicle is capable of. The only problem I have is the high gas mileage. I fill up one to three times per week.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Lindsey G.

It is very reliable; has not had mechanical issues outside of basic maintenance. It can drive in any weather, the 4WD is good for snow or tough terrain. It has a lot of room in the back for transporting things.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Lindsey G.

Can be difficult to see out of the peripheral; I am 5'0 so the side mirrors often block my view. The headrests in the back seats also often block my view due to my height. It does not get very good gas mileage; I am only getting maybe 300 miles to a tank if that.
