Has a third row of seating which will allow safe travel for six passengers albeit the back two seats do not have a lot of room.

My highlander is a beast! I love it.
I always loved Toyota and this one is the best. The seating is very comfortable for long travel. I traveled 13 hour from Chicago to Philadelphia in it with my three little ones, and the ride was smooth. Not to mention when I traveled the weather was very cold and bad snow and icy roads. This highlander is a beast.

2013 Toyota highlander is a reliable car.
We purchased this car used so it does have some issues with the automatic windows and the rear gate has difficulties closing sometimes. It does have a decent amount of power and there are some nice amenities, like heated seats. The material of the seats is a little uncomfortable when it gets hot.

2013 blue Toyota highlander.
Our highlander is an older model, but I like it better than the newer ones they have on lots. It has bumps and dents and minor interior things missing (plug-in caps) but it is a total champ! It is my first car and I highly recommend it. Everything works like new!

Toyota highlanders are great!
Love my car. It has lots of room for my grandkids and luggage on trips. Smooth ride on highway and on city roads. Plenty of kick for passing or going up hills. Slight blind spot on left side that could be corrected somehow. Backup camera is nice. Sunroof is nice.

I love my Toyota highlander!
Very reliable, works great in the winter. It is super comfortable. I really like being up a bit higher and feel that I have a great view of the road and my surroundings. It is a comfortable car. It drives smooth and fits the full amount of people comfortably. Not too cramped. It had been a very reliable car. There have been a couple issues with the automatic back door being a little touchy and the stereo system randomly shuts off occasionally but nothing that is too big of an issue or that couldn’t be fixed if bothersome enough.

One of the top midsize SUV available on the market.
The highlander has been an excellent vehicle. It get both great city and highway mileage. The trim level of se has a good amount of features and would have more in a newer year model. It is roomy for say both average size and even overweight people. It provides both comfort to the driver and for up to 6 passengers as well even at the very back once in the vehicle.

Reliable and comfortable family vehicle.
This vehicle is reliable but the Entune app is very outdated even when the vehicle was brand new. It is not very user friendly and slow. The vehicle is comfortable, however there is not much room in the second row middle seat to accommodate for a throw car seat or booster. Two child seats is the max that would comfortably fit. The third row is cramped but would best work for children that do not require a car seat.

The high life in the highlander.
I enjoy my highlander. The remote hatch open and close is very convenient. I love the ability to turn the middle two seats into a bench seat. There are more than enough cup holders. I sometimes wish that the trunk was larger. I have to choose between the 3rd row or the trunk.

It is been a great car. I haven't had any problems with it since purchasing it new in 2013. Drives smoothly. I did have to install a GPS, it would have been a nice feature to come with the car. Solid family car, tight for the tall folks of the world like me.
Love the leather, sunroof, backup camera, and tailgate/rear window options. I am a little cramped at 6’6” so it can strain my neck to keep my head off the ceiling. Fits seven, but certainly tight. I wish it came with crossbars on the rack. Gas mileage is usually averaging around 18mpg. All in all, a decent, small sport utility vehicle.

Earlier this year I purchased a used car originally made in 2013. It is in great shape for the number of miles driven by the previous owner. It has a great deal of power and thus far I have had no problems driving it in the winter. It has all weather tires.

There are not many things I do not like. It is roomy and very functional. I have had no issues with maintaining the vehicle. It is a very reliable car. Maintenance on the car is at the usual expectations. The ride of the car is very smooth. The design of the cabin is well thought out and organized. Weaknesses are the following... Plastic trim on top of roof easy pulls loose in car washes. I have lost one section in a car wash. The usb port does not work consistently. It appears to be loose. I had to buy a lighter port plug in USB charger.

My vehicle has been very reliable for the last five (5) yrs. All the electronic features are helpful reminders of oil changes needed, maintenance and etc. The steering wheel has many options to choose from such as music channels and volume control so that you can continue to steer safely. The main reason I purchased this vehicle is the ability to add a third row of seating. I have 6 grandchildren ranging from 12 to 4 that love riding with grandma I can seat all of them comfortably. I purchased this vehicle used and the only mechanical problem I have had is the tires. I get great gas mileage (even driving around town). On road trips I have averaged 26-27 miles per gallon the only thing that I wished it had is a backup camera.

Over 100k miles and running perfect. No issues. Change the oil regularly and have had to get new tires and new brakes once. Other than that, the vehicle runs so smooth and is safe and there is so much room. It is amazing how much space there is in the backseat and the 3rd row if you need it.

I've only had a couple of issues. The sunroof gets clogged easily. It is not very difficult to unclog but by the time you realize it's clogged, there's water all over the inside of your car. The brakes only last about a year. Not very good on gas. I drive 15 miles each way to work and a full take only lasts 3-4 days.

I bought this car used 2 years ago and have had zero issues. This car is very dependable and the third row option has been great for my growing family of four. Because the car is a little older it lacks some of the bells and whistles of a new car but it has Bluetooth capability for phone calls, which is really all that I need. Great features for a fairly basic car.

Reliable, and perfect for our family of 5!
I purchased my 2013 highlander when I was expecting our third child, because I needed to have a third row to be able to fit our family more comfortably. I have not had many issues, aside from the back hatch struggling to close fully without having to give it a push in. My only complaint would really be that the trunk space is minimal when the third row is up, but it is nice to have bi folding seats so I can use one rear seat and have more trunk space!

2013 Toyota highlander review.
My 2013 highlander has been super reliable. I have approximately 185,000 miles on it for the last 7 years and it is only had one minor repair issue. I was told by the dealership that I should probably be looking for a new car within the year as the repair dealt with the transmission. It is the car we use on long trips. I am 6 ft tall and I like being able to step into my car rather than bend down to get into the front seat. I appreciate the front seat heaters in the winter. I like this car's design and prefer it to the new highlander, which looks like a minivan.

Very reliable. Have replaced battery 2x and front lights once since we’ve owned (bought brand new in 2013). Love the middle row captain seats or row option with removable seat. Rides smooth. The Toyota highlander is a spacious large SUV.
I drive a Toyota highlander. I love how smooth the highlander drives. It has good gas mileage also. It is very spacious inside and the third row of seats fold down for more trunk space. My teenage daughter loves the USB ports and charges her phone every time she gets in the car. There is really only two things that bother me a little about this car. The first this is there is a blind spot and backing up or changing lanes is tricky. The second thing is that it does not have a rear camera to help with backing out of parking spots. Overall though it is a good reliable car.

Really like this vehicle. Only problem is that when it ages, the suspension and/or brakes seem to make noise. I have had them checked at the dealer and apparently there is not a problem. Toyota highlander has been with my family for quite some time. We got it in white and limited. It is a small to medium SUV. It fits about 7 people. The interior color is grey. It is a great vehicle, but I gave it 4/5 rating, because it is somewhat bulky to drive. I would definitely prefer a smaller vehicle, but since we have a family of four, the Toyota highlander is perfect for us. Besides that, I have no problem with this vehicle.

A comfortable ride with plenty of space.
We love our Toyota highlander. Having three rows was important & we also love the convenience of folding down the 3rd row (rather than having to remove/re-install). We also love the ability to make the second row a bench seat or captain chairs. It is a smooth ride & we get pretty good gas mileage for an SUV. Highlights of the highlander.
The highlander has adequate space for four people and storage facility. It is a sturdy car and looks cute. I feel like it is fashionable for the price. I only get leather seats. The seats on the limited are heated, adjustable and comfortable. I did not need to add any back support. The console is fine. I wish there was a place to put my purse.

Highlander for high living.
The interior is leather, easy to clean and maintain. Gas mileage is good. Seating of seven lets me take my grandchildren on trips with them all in seatbelts. There are drink holders available in all three rows so everyone can keep hydrated on long trips. A separate temperature control is located behind the front seats so the last two rows can adjust to their liking, and can be reached by an adult in the front passenger seat if need be. All windows are easily seen through for traffic, animals, or people to reduce the chance of accident.

I purchased my vehicle in 2013 brand new and I love it. I want to keep it as long as possible. It is very comfortable and spacious for me and my family. I maintain it as recommended and it still runs like a brand new car. The only thing that I "dislike" is it doesn't have a built in navigation system, but I can use my phone for that when needed. I don't have any complaints, when I first bought it there was a problem with the transmission, but the dealership promptly took care of the problem and replaced it with a new one. They also offered me an extended warranty at no charge as a result.

My highlander is my 5th vehicle purchase and by far, the best. The cabin is so quiet and so comfortable. Other than routine maintenance, I have not had to have any repairs. I have owned this vehicle for 5 years and it still drives as well today as it did when I drive it off the lot. The extra features that came with my highlander (I.E, moonroof, steering wheel controls, power seats, 3rd row seating and heated seating) have made my car feel like just another extension of home. My young daughter totally enjoys the back seat. It is very roomy, comfortable and the passenger hearing controls on the back make it even better.

I feel safe when riding or driving my highlander.
My highlander is reliable, comfortable and performs well. I haven't had any problems since I have owned it. There is plenty of room in the front, the back and the third row/trunk. It serves all of our purposes, from transferring kids to school and practice, to getting groceries and taking the dog to the vet's office. It has lots of cup holders and rear heating and cooling.

Great no frills reliable vehicle.
The seats are nice but not as comfortable for long drives. The seats feel flat and unsupportive. Other than that the car runs and drives really well. We’ve had no mechanical issues or performance issues since we've had it. Since this is a base model there are not many of the creature comforts as with other vehicles in this class. I would recommend this for anyone looking for reliable transportation.

Almost maintenance free as it is highly reliable.
Great performance, very comfortable with plenty legroom. Wish the gas Usage was better as it does use more gas than expected.

Safety. The engine is designed to drop down in case of an accident. The number of airbags is exceptional.
I love my car. It can seat 7 which gives us plenty of room. I can fold the seats down and fit the dog's kennel in the back. The car sits higher than others so I feel safer. I love the fact that the engine drops down in case of an accident. The number of airbags is phenomenal.

An interesting great thing about it is that you can open the trunk from a far.
This vehicle is very reliable for my family. I often drive it on road trips as well. It is great on gasoline and I have never had any issues with the vehicle. My vehicle has leather seats and tinted windows. The overlook of the car is classy. I enjoy riding in it long trips because of the comfort.

7 seater. All seats are comfortable.
My highlander has 3 rows, seats 7, which is perfect for my 5 grandchildren. I trust it completely because it is a Toyota. I have owned several Toyota's and swear by their reliability. Never had a problem with them. The only thing I do not like about my highlander is that it does not have a back up mirror and it is very difficult to see what is behind me due to the large size. Other than that, it is perfect in every way.

Toyota highlander: best midsize SUV on the market!
My husband and I recently bought a Toyota highlander and we absolutely love it! Smooth, solid ride, plenty of cargo space. Has optional third row seating! Gas mileage is great for this midsize SUV. We are looking forward to having this vehicle for years to come. Just all around wonderful!

Toyota Highlander, if a Sequoia is too big and a 4Runner is too small get the Highlander right in the middle.
The Toyota Highlander Limited is a great mix between luxury and a soccer mom ride. It has the ability to fit a bunch of passengers and their gear. It drives very well and holds up well when you bump into rocks and trees while camping.

It is a vehicle for all kinds of people, from a single person to a family.
It is a very comfortable bus to travel, cheap and very stable on the road. It has a navigation system, which would improve a little because sometimes it does not give the correct address. It is audio system is excellent. It is trunk is very spacious and it is third row of guard seat so you have more space.

Great family sized vehicle with room for our our stuff in a comfortable ride.
It is the perfect size for our family of four. It has great cargo space for road trips. It easily carries three kayaks for trips to the lake.

The car is practical and good for families. Decent storage capacity. Helpful to have the third row.
Functional and practical. Tires lose air quickly and brakes have had problems. Otherwise, happy with it.

Best family vehicle, for a busy mom.
This is the best family vehicle, lots of room for our family of four. The leather seats are great for cleanability, especially with messy kids like mine. We love the ability to switch from two to three rows of seating when needed. It give the flexibility for extra family members to tag along or use the back for hauling sports equipment when needed.

Performance has been very good, very reliable. No major problems at all. Only regular maintenance needed in 125,000 miles. Smooth and quiet ride. Good gas mileage. Lots of space for people and luggage, etc. Stylish design. Great family car. We're a loyal Toyota family!
