The 2015 Toyota Highlander can be found used for $19,131 to $28,993. It is a great midsize SUV to look at if you want reliability, but it is not thrilling to drive. A combination of technology and safety make this a popular choice for shoppers.

The 2015 Toyota Highlander is a very reliable SUV. Advanced safety technology is available on the higher models. Its V6 engine is powerful compared to other vehicles in its class.
dislikeFilled The Bad
It is not very exciting to drive and it feels disconnected from the road. They are not as smooth as other SUVs. The third row will only fit small children.

A 2015 Highlander is a middle-of-the-road midsize SUV. They do everything well without any flash. Some shoppers find it dull, while others just want a long-lasting Toyota SUV.

The gas in this car is really efficient. I can drive 4 hours and still have enough gas.
I enjoy this car, it's big enough for a growing family. It have so much room if you need to go on road trips or just to buy big bulks.

This car has safety equipment such as seatbelts and airbags.
The interior and exterior of the car are beautiful. It has up to date technology such as GPS and a backup camera. It rides like a dream! Very smooth ride! No complaints at all.

Best vehicle I have had and I am 73 so driven a lot of cars.
My Toyota highlander has never given us any trouble since we purchased it new in 2015. It is economical on gas mileage. It has good legroom even for someone with limited knee bending. The ride is smooth and quiet and a comfortable vehicle. I'd buy it again.

It's a great family vehicle and drives great. It's also affordable.
I love my vehicle. I only have two complaints. One is that the gps isn't great. I use google maps instead. Lastly I recently had a third child and there isn't a lot of cargo space after I put my stroller in the back.

The most awesome highlander ever.
This is my second Toyota highlander I absolutely love it overall other than normal maintenance I have never had to fix anything and I will most definitely be purchasing a third highlander in the future. I love everything about my vehicle from the upgraded speakers to the interior to the Bluetooth system. The color is amazing I have used my roof racks many times.

I want people to know about the extreme reliability of the Toyota Highlander, particularly if you maintain it as scheduled by the dealer.
I like that it is extremely reliable. It has a comfortable ride. I wish I had not gone with a black interior because that gets d***y very quickly. I guess one downside is that the paint job seems to get a lot of dings easily from when I park it near other cars...

Best SUV I have ever bought.
Outstanding performance, very reliable. Good for cross country trips. Powerful trans and good for towing small rv. Worth every penny. Handles excellent. I strongly recommend it. People craving an SUV should go by the Toyota dealership. Even a used one will do great service.

The Toyota highlander is the dreams come true vehicle for me.
This vehicle is one of the best. I have owned three Toyota sienna vans and was tired of driving vans anymore. My children are grown and am no longer a soccer mom. I needed space and class's. This vehicle provided me with more than a satisfaction for what I was looking for. This seven passenger SUV drives like a small car. It has also proven to be one of the safest cars on the roads. My family and I are happy to own this rewarding vehicle.

Toyota highlander 2015- ok but I’d rather have a tesla.
Old, lots of maintenance, battery has died a lot, inside hard to keep clean. Overpriced for what you get. I like the new models. It is easy to see out of. Tires expensive to replace. Does not get good gas mileage. Lots of room if you travel a lot or have lots of kids that do sports.

Overall quality just doesn't cut it.
My 3rd Highlander and by far the most disappointing in quality. It appears Toyota lowered the standard for parts as basic items like door lock actuators, drivers seat, and other interior issues which have not been a problem in my other 6 Toyotas.

Somewhat spacious Toyota highlander.
The highlander is very comfortable. The front and second row have plenty of legroom for passengers. Unfortunately we have found the third row to be too small to use practically. We also have the rubber floor mats, including the Toyota trunk mat and it has been a lifesaver with dogs. Plus, you do not have to remove the mat to operate the third row!

Great reliable family vehicle.
Reliable car with plenty of room for a family. Comfortable seating with good amenities. Multiple charging ports to keep you connected. The third row folds down to provide additional space in the luggage area. Luggage hatch opens with a touch of a button and can be adjusted to accommodate your height. Multiple safety features to help you be a better and attentive driver.

Toyota highlander storage galore!
My tire pressure light comes on easily. Other than that, it handles fantastic in all types of weather. It has tons of storage space and a third row to pop up for when we have guests riding with us. We get it serviced regularly and it never gives us any issues.

Very reliable! I don't have any problems with this vehicle. As with all Toyota’s, the brakes are not the best. But if you drive the speed limit, this is not an issue.

Yes. only 1 problem, the radio seems to do a power off followed by a power on occasionally. when I talked to a service advisor, he said it probably needs a software update.

accountCircle Heather D

No it does not have any issues and it is very reliable so far. No complaints here. It drives well, saves me money on gas and repairs

2015 Toyota highlander is a great midsize SUV.
The highlander is a great mid size SUV. I love the captain chairs on second row it makes it much easier to get to the third row especially with car seats. It has been a very reliable car so far. The only things I dislike about the vehicle is the Bluetooth and the seats. The Bluetooth works fine but if you plug your phone up it messes up and will not play your music etc. This model does not have apple play which I wish it did. The rear plug is also in a spot that you cannot plug anything into because it hits the console so phone charger will not stay in and there is only a USB port in the front. The seats are not very comfortable and bother my hips especially when sitting for a while.

2015 highlander: perfect mix of SUV and minivan.
I love my Toyota highlander! It has 3rd row seating and bucket seats in the second row. There is a collapsible cup holder in the second row so people can easily maneuver to the 3rd row without putting a seat down. It is a perfect mix of a SUV and a van. Very family friendly. It also has speakers that project to the back two rows so the driver is easily heard throughout the whole car, and people speaking to the driver are also easily heard. The dashboard is very user friendly. My only problem I have noticed is the warning light tells you maintenance will be required soon, but does not specify what the maintenance is.

Best performing SUV on the market.
The 2015 Toyota highlander handles beautifully. Though it is technically a large SUV, it does not drive as such. It is easy to handle and makes driving an enjoyable experience. The look of the vehicle is very sleek and smooth. It is a very stylish car. I absolutely love the look of it. There’s plenty of legroom in the front and middle rows. The third row is only meant for small children. I love that I have a full seat in the middle instead of bucket seats. And the interior is a gorgeous tan leather. The best car I have ever had!

2015 Toyota highlander platinum.
I have had no problems with this car at all. It is very comfortable to drive and has seats that both heat and cool. The ride is very smooth and it has the feel of luxury. There is a very large sunroof which allows for natural light. The rear seats fold down almost flat, providing a nice space for my dogs to travel. The rear hatch closes with the push of a button making it easy for me to hold onto the dogs while closing the door. Rear seat passengers have access to control the climate in that area for themselves.

The 2015 highlander is roomy, comfortable, and reliable.
The highlander is comfortable and reliable. I have had no problems with the performance. The touchscreen can be slow to process input, but on the whole is very user friendly. This is a vehicle that I use for a daily driver, but I would be comfortable taking it for light off-roading for camping or something similar. The third row of seats is very small and I keep it folded flat. The trunk space is generous - I recently transported a 65" cat tree with no problems. Overall I would highly recommend this vehicle.

Toyota Highlander... Built for safety and comfort!
The 2015 Toyota Highlander is loaded with safety and comfort features. My favorite is the blind spot assist which lets you know if there is a car in your blind spot when you're trying to switch lanes. Also if you're going at a fast pace and the car senses you're about to collide into something it alerts you. The heated and cooling feature on the seats are wonderful as is the heated steering wheel. The moon roof spans all the way to the backseat which child passengers will love.

Toyota Highlander: The Sporty yet Family Friendly Vehicle
My 2015 Toyota Highlander is a great family vehicle. The second row has ample room for my children's car seats. I also enjoy special features such as driver speak easy to communicate with my children behind me as I drive. The car has been reliable without any breakdowns even after 100,000 miles. My vehicle is silver, with gray leather seats. It can hold 7 people (driver and six passengers), and has a trunk. The back and middle windows are tinted. The front and middle seats have seat warmers, and the front seats have cooled seats as well. Blindsight monitors are on the side mirrors. The wheel and pedals are reliable and feel right. The 2015 Toyota highlander is built on Camry base and is very easy to drive and great on gas. Very spacious for a mid size SUV. Backseat and middle seats folds down flat for more storage. The safety features include driver knee airbag. It also features blind spot warning, rear view camera, front and rear a/c, Bluetooth. The third row seating is small and not large enough for older kids or adults for everyday use.

2015 Toyota Highlander, Big yet compact
Car is comfortable, easy to maneuver, back up camera and light in side view mirror showing cars in blind spot is very practical. I like that it seats 7 people but is also very compact and can fit in my garage comfortably. The mirror to watch kids in the backseat is practical. One thing I don't like is that using the FOB on driver side for keyless entry only opens the drivers door and not all doors.

Highlander 2015 is an excellent vehicle.
It has seat warmers and coolers, a touch screen for radio, GPS, and backup camera. It has a sunroof, which is very nice. The interior is leather. The second row is bucket seats. It has a remote starter, and keyless starter. It has a snow option and is all wheel drive. Does pretty well in most of the weather. It is very comfortable and has good lumbar support in the driver's seat.

Toyota highlander XLE 2015.
It is very spacious and has room for large purchases, luggage, or road trip materials. During long car rides the seats do become uncomfortable. It does require expensive oil changes. The brakes on my car easily wear out, but I live in a very hilly area so that may not be the case always. It is good in the snow and does well on highways. The windshield wipers could be better.

2015 highlander: a great family ride.
Our Toyota highlander provides a smooth and quiet ride with lots of room for our family. On the dashboard, the screen between the dials has different tracking options, like monitoring eco fuel levels, and my favorite, the average miles per gallon tracking option. The front seats are comfortable and provide plenty of leg room. The back seats provide lots of room for our two car seats. Enough so that I can fit back there with our kids. Our 70-pound dog loves lying in the third row on road trips. Even with the third row in use, there is room for more stuff in the back. I like how many radio slots are available to use for presets. I use the Bluetooth option daily and it switches easily from my phone to my husband's. The back-up camera is very useful and it has come in handy on several instances. My favorite feature of the highlander is the rear air because they are not just vents. We can set the temperature and volume of air for the back to totally different levels than the front vents. The rear air vents not only work for the back seats but the third row also has vents! This has been a life saver for our kids, especially during our hot Arizona summers. Our other vehicle is a ten-year old sedan that does not have great air flow and it gets really warm and stuffy in the back, so whenever we go somewhere as a family, we bring the highlander.

Decent, but 2015 is not the best highlander!
I feel like I can hear sounds outside of my car, even when all the windows are rolled up. I also feel like the shocks do not provide the smoothest ride. These are feelings from date of purchase. Also, the hydraulics for the trunk have been an issue from day of purchase and have been checked multiple times.

If I ever need more seats, I can just pull up a back row whenever needed.
I think it is very comfortable and spacious. I always feel like the drives are smooth as well as handling the steering wheel. I tend to spend about $45 on a full tank which lasts me quite a while for the amount I drive. My only 'complaint' is that since it is not a newer model, it does not have the motion sensors to alert you if a car is in your blind spot.

So far reliable, which is good.
I like the spaciousness of the inside, the leather seats are great (heated but I don't use that option much, but my riders love it!) The sound system is good, there is even a speaker back to the third row of seats. Does well in the winter,

Great value. Great mileage. Would buy again.
I have never had a problem with my Toyota. Is good with gas mileage having gotten up to 26 miles a gallon on the highway. It is easy to maneuver and park. Has plenty of storage area and I am happy with it. I would buy this car all over again and probably get one a little more exclusive.

Smoothest car I have ever driven.
It drives very smooth. I love its sleek look and feel. Everything about this car is great. When driving, the pedals press smooth and they are not too stiff or too loose at all. It is also very comfortable. The front seats have heating which is very nice during the winter- and there's a sunroof which is also great.

Love hate relationship with my highlander.
So far I love my new vehicle with a few exceptions. It is hard to judge when you back up. I am very thankful for the backup camera and the cross traffic alert. I appreciate the side view mirror alert when I merge onto the interstate. I love the heated and cooled seats. I like the interactive screen and the Bluetooth phone hookup that reads my texts to me. It is very roomy and comfortable. The turning radius is wonderful. I love the blue track lights.

This car has safety equipment such as seatbelts and airbags.
The interior and exterior of the car are beautiful. It has up to date technology such as GPS and a backup camera. It rides like a dream! Very smooth ride! No complaints at all.

Toyota highlander XLE review.
I love the leather seats and the areas of storage/cup holders. The legroom is great. The third row is a little tight - I wouldn't want to sit back there as an adult on a long car ride, but kids do not seem to mind it. The trunk has decent space when the third row is folded down.
accountCircle S B on March 16, 2021
It's a great price for what you get and very reliable car
I really like the passenger space, the gas mileage, the features and safety items like back up mirror and side view warnings

Toyota builds a safe and durable vehicle.
It is the safest and most reliable vehicle we have owned. We bought it brand new and have not had any problems with it. This is our 2nd Toyota we have owned and are very pleased.

Great gas mileage per gas tank.
I love the space in my vehicle. It picks up speed pretty quickly. I do not like the fact that i had to buy the back cover. The middle console tray keeps falling off. I love the sits with the leather and fabric.
accountCircle Agnes O on March 8, 2021
High-quality car loaded with technology.
It is loaded with technology, such as a touchscreen console. You can even connect any type of device to the screen, as long as they have Bluetooth. There is also a rear camera that makes life easier when backing. The space is so-so. Making people sit in the back third row can be uncomfortable for them.

It's a hybrid! So it saves on gas with a help of an electric battery
I love my Highlander! It's a mid-size SUV, so it's not too big or too bulky, it's very comfortable to handle on the road and in parking, it's reliable and smart, as well as safe.

2015 Toyota highlander. Grey. 4 door. Hatchback. Push to start.
I haven't had any problems with my highlander since we've bought it. It's such a great vehicles to have if you have multiple children. Its comfy and spacious and has 3rd row seating. It has a touch screen radio, backup cameras, heated front seats, temperature control for front and back, a sunroof and a mirror above the rearview mirror to see in the back seats.

It is the car for near and far.
The Toyota highlander is a comfortable and convenient car that is perfect for everyday use and for longer drives like road trips. The back up camera really helps with parking and the touch screen is nice and easy to use. It is also a decently sized car but not too big to make it difficult to park in spaces.

Highlander has great rear cargo space
The rear third row makes for a nice bonus. Without the third row there is plenty of cargo pace. Great car

Love the Toyota highlander.
Fantastic reliable vehicle. Great legroom in all of the seating options. Comfortable seating throughout. Love the fold down third row which gives us the ability to bring others or for extra storage. Back up cameras make parking a breeze. Love this car!!

Best family car. This car is very reliable and low maintenance.
I love my vehicle. I would definitely recommend this car. I love the car, the comfort and all the features. It is an limited edition, which have extra features that make this car worth the price. The color and interior design is awesome. Toyota's are so dependable and reliable. This is my 7th Toyota. My grandchildren love all the room to invite friends. We use this car for traveling. Great car.

Spacious, reliable, and smooth driving vehicle! I love it!
I absolutely love my Toyota Highlander. I have 4 children, my two youngest are 18 months apart, (2 yr old and 1 yr old) and even with their two seats we have room for the rest of us and two others. It is very roomy. I think it is really comfortable and runs smoothly. I feel it is very reliable and I feel safe driving it. I love it!

Highlander = provides safety and comfort.
I find the Highlander to be a reliable, safe and comfortable car. It does well on gas and I never have any issues with the vehicle. The Highlander provides plenty of space as well as a third row for more seating options. It also has Bluetooth capabilities and satellite radio.

The great features of the Toyota highlander.
It is very spacious and the ride is smooth. The phone features are very safe. The heated seats are to die for. The car is sleek, the color attitude black says just that. Very elegant car. Looks powerful but is very gentle. It sits and turns very well the suspensions are very smooth.

Reliability, handling, and seating perfection.
Reliable vehicle that does very well in various terrains and situations. The all wheel drive provides excellent handling in harsh weather, especially in snow and ice. The Toyota highlander is able to easily accommodate my family, which includes two adults, two children, and one dog, with the seating and storage configurations.

Interior proms and cons!!
The only disappointment I have with this vehicle is the navigation system always seems to take the long route to my destinations it is great in the snow very roomy and comfortable. 3rd row can be perfect for small children who do not need to be in car seats, however if you use the 3rd row that comprises your trunk space.
accountCircle Kathy B on February 8, 2021

Highlander is roomy and a good driver.
I love my highlander. It seats 8 kids easily and there's still storage room. And if you only seat 5 you have a lot of room. My car does not have a tow package but I have read for under $400, you can buy the parts to have one put on. It drives well and stays on the road without wondering. It wants to go too fast so you have to watch it, because you do not feel it.

Toyota highlander 2015 review.
Been driving it for 2 years now, never had any problems. Great performance, great driving, amazing comfort. Small problems with Bluetooth connection to smartphones. Great space in car and truck, it's perfect for a family of 4+. Might be even too large at times, specially for parking.
accountCircle Mohammad F on February 4, 2021
Perfect for family. Nice speed. Nice quality inside and out.
I love my car but I personally don't like big vehicles but with kids I guess I don't have a choice. I think the software may need an upgrade thought. Apart from that I like the car, I like the pick all everything else.

The Toyota highlander: a great car!
I love this car! I have three kids and as you could guess, it gets messy. This car is so easy to clean out! I have few and far-between issues, but when I do, my local Toyota dealership is happy to fix it right up! My only criticism with the mechanics is the trunk door. It opens with just a button, but this thing has broken multiple times. It is very finicky. Everything's great other than that though!
accountCircle Nancy J on February 1, 2021
Never had a break down and it has 135000 miles on it.
Never really had a problem. I keep up with the schedule maintenance and it has been a very reliable car. I drive a lot for work, sometimes 1200 miles/week. It is an extremely comfortable ride as well as spacious. Plenty of room for my kids and their friends.

Elegant and technology forward.
The car is beautiful and has fantastic tech features - Bluetooth connectivity through an app with your phone that gives you access to various music platforms as well as the scores to your favorite sports teams. It rides smoothly and is very roomy, even the third row, which can be tight in some cars.

Best car I have owned so far.
My car has not given me problem since the day I bought it. I go to the service at service all the time and never miss a check up. I already ran over 100k and still drives like new. So far I had to change the tires and new brakes. There was a time when I had a gasket leak and it was under warranty. I was able to drive a new corolla for couple weeks till they fixed my car that was fun. The two year free oil change helped.
accountCircle Sam S on January 17, 2021
It offers lots of space and a very stylish design.
It has beautiful styling and I picked a vibrant color. There are many safety features and options that make driving easier, like a large navigation screen and back-up camera. I can fit 7 people fairly easily, otherwise there is a lot of cargo space.

Love my Toyota highlander.
This vehicle has been incredible, runs like a charm, rides so smooth. Only item that is concerning is a simple one——the rear window wiper—-can't just replace the rubber, the entire thing needs to be replaced and it is expensive. Other than that, strongly recommend this vehicle.

It has lots of room. It seems luxury for a similar price with similar cars. It lasts forever.
