2004 Toyota Matrix Overview, Reviews, Ratings & Specs

I love my little vehicle! I wish they still made them. I have had no major maintenance issues, good gas mileage and the hatchback style has been really versatile over the years. I really love my car.

The Toyota Matrix is very reliable, great gas mileage, comfortable, spacious, and great for trips. Since owning it I have not really experienced any issues besides regular maintenance such as oil changes, etc. In the city with lots of stop and go driving I still manage to get anywhere from 20-25 miles per gallon and 30+ highway. There is lots of room in this vehicle to where you won't feel crowded and is awesome for trips because it can more than hold everything in the trunk or if you want even more space you can lower the back seats and make extra room. It has a lot of compartments to store things as well which makes it great if you carry lots of stuff in your car. Overall I've been very happy and pleased with my 2004 Toyota Matrix and definitely recommend it.

I've had my vehicle for about a year now and so far it's been good. I bought it with 170000 miles on it but it really is a great car, it's a gas saver I pump around $20 every 2 weeks. It does have a few things that want to fix though, for example every time it rains I my passenger seat gets wet. I think it's either worn out weather strip or hole in the rooftop. Also the front windows both have bad power motors. I hear a scratching noise when I lower or raise the windows and they also have visible scratches on the glass itself. Those are the only two problems that I have with my car.

My car is super reliable. I've put some money into it over the years and it's still working very well for being 15 years-old. I cannot complain. It's very good on gas and is a good size too! I feel very safe in my car. The only reason I'm going to be looking for a new car is because it's older. Otherwise, I would drive my car forever! I will definitely be buying a Toyota in the future.

I like that it is dependable. I like that it is a Toyota so it will be able to go for a long while. I like that we got a good deal on it and even after hitting a deer it is going strong with over 200,000 miles :D

Great vehicle, very dependable. It has 190,000 and still runs great. This is my first car and it has far exceeded my expectations.

I love Toyota matrix so much that when my first was stolen I bought another one! It has a lot of space and is bigger than it looks. I feel like I take good care of my car and the maintenance and any parts are fairly priced. Smaller tires are cheaper too which is nice. I do wish I had a bigger SUV but would drive this any day happily. It gets great gas mileage too.

I love that my vehicle is small, but has lots of space. It is reliable and dependable. I wish it got better gas mileage in stop and go traffic.
