Toyota Matrix: Reliable and roomy!

2005 Toyota Matrix STD

Love my car. Bought this particular make based on recommendation from my mechanic. He said 'I'll probably rarely see you because Toyota's are very reliable' He was right. I've never had any major issue with it. I bought a Matrix specifically because of the cargo space. The back seats fold down, front passenger seat folds down forward, providing a ton of space. This was important to me because I am a musician so I can fit all my gear inside. Also, at the time I bought the car I had a 85 lb dog. With the back seats up there was still more than enough room for my dog to ride in the very back. Additionally, the back/cargo area is plastic, not carpeted so very easy to clean up after the dog.

Safety plus great value for price.

2005 Toyota Matrix STD

My matrix has been a great car, I have had no problems or repairs needed since I bought it in 2015 (about 4 years ago). It was used, previously 1 owner, and maintenance has been easy to upkeep. It is a very basic model, so no electric windows or locks, which I do miss. Also, no cruise control, which really sucks on long drives, but overall the performance & safety of the vehicle has made it worth it. I would choose Toyota over & over again. I also really love the hatchback and that I can lay the back seats flat to be able to move and carry things in the back of my vehicle.

The best feature of the car is how large the interior feels.

2005 Toyota Matrix STD

I've had my car for a year now and it's great. It's very spacious, and for someone who's quite tall it helps a lot. Since it's a hatchback there's a lot of space for things. As a college student it helps for getting my things around. It goes through gas at a steady pace. I'd say it's not positive or negative just pretty neutral. Very basic car, the pick up isn't that great but overall it's a great car.

The Matrix: A Smooth and Safe Ride

2005 Toyota Matrix STD

This car is incredibly comfortable and smooth to drive. It has great safety features and has had hardly any trouble aside from regular maintenance. My only complaint is that when I'm going up a hill or coming up from a stop, the car takes a bit too much time speeding up.
