Toyotas are a very reliable car that can travel long distances comfortably
We love our Matrix. It is not new but still drives like it is.

Amazing, happy, would buy again, definitely will miss this car when it is gone.
Not bad never had problems never burns oil and still running with 200,000+ miles. The care has been awesome and driving it still feels like it is new and if they still made them I would definitely buy a new one because this has been my first car and I have driven over 100,000+ on it myself and it is been really good.

It's incredibly safe and dependable. The repairs I've had done we're minimal.
Good gas mileage. Dependable and very safe. Tune like it did 9 years ago.

Loving my Toyota matrix hatchback!
Driving a Toyota matrix is lovely. The seats are comfy and we have plenty of room in the car for my husband and son. I love that my car is stick shift and hatchback. It is really easy to put the seats down and load stuff in the back and then put them back up. My son fits comfortably in his car seat on either side.

Best and reliable car with comfort.
My vehicle has good features and its performance is very good. It is very comfortable and easy to drive. I didn't face any problem with it. I like it very much. It is price is economical. It is really a very reliable car and easy to handle. Its seats are very comfortable.

It's Got the Get Up and Go!
It's an incredibly easy car to handle, both on the freeway with lane changes and back roads with curves and hills. Easy to park because of its size, and because of the hatch back, it fits a surprising amount of items. I've used it to move a few times, and it holds as much as some SUVs! The only issue that I am having is the paint top coat has started to turn white and the hood looks awful. I try and park it in places where others won't readily see the hood. I always try and be careful over speed bumps because it has high performance tires, but it's a small price to pay for how safe I feel driving it.

Is safe for everyone at home.
Very comfortable and very reliable. So cheap to me. Fits to my kids in so many ways. Fits to my work cause I have a long way to go.

How satisfied I am with the efficiency, space and reliability of this car.
It is reliable, has lots of storage room, and has had no major mechanical problems. Dislike, since I bought new tires the hubcaps keep falling off and I need to replace them.

Great on gas. And very fast. Perfect for first time drivers.
Space, and size. Comfortable but wish it was bigger. And higher off the ground. Not bad on gas a all. Getting work done is not that expensive.

Sleek and comfortable Toyota.
I like how comfortable the car is. The features are nice including Bluetooth and easy to read buttons and commands. Maintenance upkeep is simple and easy. The car drives very well and is easy on the breaks but not too much. The trunk space is very ideal for a small car and the design of the car is very sleek. I enjoy the bike rack on the top.

Good car, hatchback is nice. You may outgrow it if you have kids.
It's been a good car but is now too small for my family. It's been reliable but sometimes I get random warning lights on the dash for no reason.
accountCircle Charles C
It offers airbags and keyless entry with alarm but at high speeds it's handling is shakey
The handling is somewhat poor the miles per gallon are satisfying but the space it offers is unsatisfying to myself and the parking of my vehicle is good as far as parking spaces go.

Great for long distance travel and getting up to highway speed quickly!
My car drives great in clear, beautiful weather. However, I really wish it were heavier and did better in the snow. The skid control frequently kicks in unexpectedly, causing the car to jerk around in snow or slush. Beyond that, this vehicle is great. The space is nice - myself, my boyfriend, and my rottweiler can travel comfortable for long distances in my vehicle. The hatchback trunk is not so bad, either. Nice and spacious.

Good gas mileage and can park in most spaces without trouble
It's a stick and it's hard to drive during traffic

Reliable car, fun to drive!
At 10 years old this car has never given me a single problem. It is super reliable, a great gas saver, and drives well in snow/rain. There is some road noise however. Seats 4 adults comfortably. The child latch system makes me feel secure with my toddler's car seat in place. There is a lot of cargo room.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Alexandra S.

For being a little car, it has a lot of space and drives rather smooth. If you need a lot of space, like a way more than room for a stroller and groceries at the same time, then maybe an SUV, or truck would be better.

likeFilled Matt C.

I like this vehicle because it has plenty of space. I play hockey and golf and often transport people who will play with me. Having the hatchback allows me to transport all of us and our gear. We can also transport additional gear.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Alexandra S.

There are not many cons if any at all. I bought my car used and the most it needed was an oil change and a check up. Personally I believe Toyota is one of the best car brands strictly based off durability and wear and tear. It handles nicely.

dislikeFilled Matt C.

I sometimes wish it had better gas mileage. I do like electric cars. But they're not always available for recharge. Additionally, they do not always have a particularly large range. If it is a short range, I may not be able to make it where I want to go.
