It's spacious and it consumes way less gas than any other cars
Love everything, this is the ultimate car!! The future is here!

Prius love it. The best car for anyone whether single or with a family.
The vehicle has had no problems. The car rides well and is very roomy. I get at least 60 miles to the gallon of gas. The car as a load of vehicle extras such as powered doors, powered windows, heated front seats, and tinted glass windows. The vehicle also has driver assist and fifty computer assisted drive assisted features.

Reliable and easy to handle.
Reliable, economical, and easy to drive. Especially appreciate safety features: collision avoidance, backup camera, and lane departure.

If you want freedom from gas prices get a Prius.
The best thing about my Prius is of course the gas mileage. Who wouldn't love getting 60 miles to the gallon. Second thing I love is the self driving feature with the cruise control. Plus there is tons of room when the seats are folded down. You can fit almost anything in there.

Nice features of 2017 Prius v.
No problems so far. I have had the car for two years. I like that it has heated seats and a driver's side power-adjustable seat. It also has an integrated garage door opener in the rear-view mirror, so I do not need to have an opener (with all of the associated battery issues) in my car.

I love my Prius so much I gave her a name.
I love my Prius. It gets about 55 miles per gallon and I can go about 500 miles before filling up. For me this means about once a month, a huge savings on gas. My Prius is comfortable for long drives and around town. It has great storage capacity and the ability to fold down the back seat to make room for even more space.

Fine car good on gas and gets great mileage.
None accept paying for subscription for Toyota connect safety it should be automatic on purchase. It basically is a good car. Toyota should have a package at purchased.

Great gas mileage! I love it. Has more room than anyone would think.
I love the mileage that it gets. I like that it's bigger than my prior vehicle. It is very comfortable.

What a joke !
I had a Prius V for almost 2 years. Got it brand new... And it is the worse car I have ever got ! Poor, very dangerrous acceleration, no indicator for low windshield washer level, very dangerous when you live in Quebec, windows stuck in winter, cannot lock the car without leaving the key inside and keep the car unlock (yeah great at -30 Celcius in winter when it needs to warm up before leaving in the morning.... But yes very Eco" !!! Further to this average millage is around 10 L/100km.... And sometime worse... Impossible to really use for a long time the battery, keeps saying that I have Excessive Acceleration and cannot use the EV mode... Stupid ... So many other things this car is just a waste pf money !

The on-board computer system is antiquated and unreliable.
There were significant concerns with the internal computer system that operated the phone pairing, radio, GPS, etc. It took several trips to the dealer to get them to recognize and fix the problem. The computer unit had to be replaced. There have been no other significant concerns with the vehicle.

Glad changed car brands to try this car.
Enjoy the car especially the decrease cost of running the car gas use has been cut in half compared to the last car. One thing I do not like is this car does not have fog lights. Night driving is not as clear as the last car. Comfortable to drive, quick to maintain speed.

A Prius is great. My Prius keeps me safe.
My Prius gets great mileage. It is around 45 mpg. I like it because it warns me if someone is in my blind spot, if someone or something is in back of my car or if someone is about to come up to me as I back my car up. It has windshield wipers that turn on automatically when it starts to rain. It has a good radio.

Pros from Owners

The Toyota Prius V is very roomy with great cargo space and good miles per gallon in the low to mid 40s. It is reliable and have comfortable seating for five people. It has a well designed interior with ample storage in the front row.

Great gas mileage, roomy, dependable. I have two infant seats in the backseat and there's still plenty of room. Lots of space in the cargo area. Comfortable seats, easy to drive. Comes with navigation built in which is handy if my phone is low on battery.

The vehicle is a gas saver. I can fill up my tank on $20 and can go for 400 miles. It is a comfortable vehicle for my family of four to ride in. I love the amount of space I have in the trunk. It is a reliable vehicle.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Margaret L.

Like all Priuses, the speed of acceleration for the Prius V is much slower than non hybrid cars. This can frustrate other drivers on the road behind me. In addition, the car does not have the newest safety features available currently as a standard on other cars.

dislikeFilled Courtney R.

It is a Prius, it is not built for speed or looks. The options do include a 'power mode' which is helpful when you need a boost climbing a mountain or quickly overtaking a car, but for the most part there is not the option to drive with the knowledge that you could quickly overtake most other cars on the road. I knew this going into the purchase of this car though.

dislikeFilled Kellye D.

Since it is a hybrid, they try to save battery by not having a lot of extra amenities. This does include no power seats. You have to move your seats manually. There's also very limited USB ports or cigarette lighters for you to plug items into and the voltage is small.

Is The 2017 Toyota Prius v A Good Car?

Yes. It has good mpg and has ample room in the trunk since it is a wagon. While it is not as high as a crossover it is fairly high for a regular car.

How Reliable Is The 2017 Toyota Prius v?

I had it for 3 years with no issues. Fairly reliable so far. I only do regular maintenance (and Toyota pays for the first 2 years of maintenance for free).

Is The 2017 Toyota Prius v A Good Value?

It was more costly for me when I purchased it. I bought it with a good discount. The car is no longer made (2017 was the last year Toyota manufactured so it is no longer sold). I would say it is a... Read More
