Prius V is a very reliable and economical car. Good for long trips. Uses less gas especially in the city when traffic slows down.
I love the gas mileage. It's spacious enough for a family of four. Very reliable for 3 years I have not had any major issue.
accountCircle George D
It does not use much gasoline.
No complaints. It is economical, comfortable and easy to drive. It is a step above the basic model and I do appreciate the extras included with the car.

Great family car for anyone especially for long trips.
Very comfortable, reliable, great gas mileage, smooth drive, safe, children safe, great with turns, backup camera, and great car. I would recommend this car to anyone especially someone who travels a lot and city driving. I travel 30 minutes to and from work and only have to fill up once a week. It has a 16 gallon tank.

Great value - awesome car!
My car is very reliable and performs well. I love the great gas mileage and how spacious it is. It is a great car for our family and we plan to have it for a long time. I wish the sound system was better and the back up camera can be a little wonky. Those dislikes are manageable however.

The fuel efficiency of this car is it best selling point.
I like it's fuel efficiency. It's a very Comfortable car

Prius v- for a family with a conscious.
The Prius v has a surprising amount of leg/head room and trunk space for a tiny Prius. I am 6”4 250 and I fit more than comfortably inside. It drives amazingly for a small, tiny, compact car and had a phenomenal mpg tank. I recommend this car to anyone wanting to save on monthly gas cost and lower their carbon footprint.

Space age transit in a Prius.
Driving a hybrid car is amazing! I love not having to think about gas. This car also has a lot of good tech- backup camera, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and tons of storage room. If you really love driving powerful cars, this is not the car for you. It is more like a spaceship than a car with push to start and other features.

Good mileage from hybrid engine that makes 40 plus mph.
I like the mileage the hybrid engine makes possible. The storage space is generous. I like the comfort.

It is a boring car, but it gets the job done.
Reliable but does not speed up quickly. Good gas mileage and plenty of trunk room. Not a lot of extra features though. I would have liked to have remote start or heated seats. That is something I will look for in another vehicle. It is a good car. Reliable.
accountCircle Mac M
It is smooth and dependable.
It gets me from point a to b and back to a, it does what it is supposed to do, but it is not big enough.
accountCircle Megan V
Great gas consumer with weird reverse sounds.
The biggest issue I have is that the car beeps for however long you have it in reverse rather than just when another car is close. This can be distracting and does not really provide a service. However, the car is great on gas, especially in a large city and is very comfortable, even for longer drives out of town or for road trips.

Good car for families with children.
It has very good mileage and is very reliable. It is not necessarily the fastest car but it also has a lot of space and the features are appropriate for a family. The price of the car is also very reasonable for what you get! It is very smooth in terms of the driving also - very little road noise.

Money and air saving car that helps the earth.
It runs really nice and does not waste gas that fast. However it is a little small when my whole family is in the car. The car runs smoothly, but after having it for a long time it will start to have problems that you will need to spend money and fix. It is a very good car and saves you a lot of money on gas.

I really enjoy my Toyota Prius!
Runs very well. Love the gas mileage. The car is much bigger on the inside than it appears. I enjoy the green color. I really like the power button that gives you more of a kick when trying to merge onto a busy highway. I like the bluetooth feature that allows me to talk on the phone while I drive.

Comfy and well performed car
I would say the performance of the car runs smoothly. I have not encountered any problems so far from driving. I must say the seating of the car is very comfortable and is to my liking. The interior of the car is what made me purchase the car. I do wish that there were more color options for the car.

Love my Prius-v, great investment.
We love this car! The gas mileage is amazing! It can fit 3 car seats if needed. It is not a huge vehicle but it works for our family of 4 just fine. We can load up our 2 kids in car seats, our 2 labs, and head to the lake easily. The ac works great, it is easy and comfortable to drive. The screen has had some issues with the extreme heat where we live, but it is only slightly annoying. Every time we fill up we feel so grateful and thankful for our car, even after 5 years. It has been a great investment for our family and was a great switch from the 15 mpg that we were getting in our SUV!

Outstanding hybrid vehicle.
The Prius v is comfortable and reliable. The gas mileage is beyond awesome. We have had zero problems. Performance? It is a hybrid, designed for maximum gas mileage. No one will ever confuse a hybrid for a race car. The only potential drawback is that the car really is a computer on wheels. Dealer service is almost required.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Emily Y.

High MPG, interior room, quiet to drive, easy to drive, safety features, adjustable back row seats, plenty of space in the storage area, easy to park, three different drive modes: eco, power and normal, depending on the situation depends on the mode you would use and the MPG. I average about 45 mpg currently.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Emily Y.

When I purchased my vehicle there were not very many to choose from. The limited stock made finding one with the features I wanted impossible. The one I bought actually had to be brought in from out of state. The longevity versus the price of the hybrid battery is a long term consideration as is the maintenance on a hybrid. Other than that, there are very few cons.

I just purchased this vehicle in Oct 2019 and have had no issues. I drive a lot of highway miles. If there are problems the cars technology will alert you.

Is The 2015 Toyota Prius v A Good Value?

Mine cost $13,000.00 and it had almost 100,000 miles on it. I believe Toyota has a good reputation and my mechanic says they are good vehicles and should easily go 200,000 miles or more.
