A Safe & Reliable way to travel
2011 Toyota RAV4 Ltd
I love my Toyota Rav4. This has to be one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. When I was shopping around I was looking for a safe & reliable SUV for my family. I had a few options I was looking at but I kept going back to the Rav4. First off, a Toyota keeps is value (much more so than other makes). These vehicles a made to last. If you keep your services on a schedule, you can run these cars for 400-500,000 miles (my husband had a Toyota truck that he sold with 425,000 miles on it!) The Rav4 has a great interior. Plenty of headroom since I sit taller in the seat this is important to me. Nice area in the back that you can store things under the cargo area so if needed you can hide things away you can (great at Christmas time). Lots of room for packing and hauling things & you can lay the seats down if you have a larger piece to tote around. I was impressed with the safety ratings on the Rav4. The AWD system is very nice & I love that I don't have to think about when the situation calls for AWD or 4WD - the vehicle knows when to activate the feature when it is needed. The Rav4 has tire pressure sensors on all 5 wheels. By this, I mean the 4 on the road and the spare. If you lose pressure in any of these, including the spare, you will get the warning light & will need to figure out which tire is needing attention, the sensor does not indicate which it may be. The Rav4 is a 4 cyl. But has all the get up and go you need. It reacts beautifully & handles like a pro. I drive in town and I'm on the interstate 62 miles a day. I appreciate the handling the Rav4 provides in these conditions. If you plan to invest in a SUV and look to maintain a proper preventative maintenance schedule, the Toyota Rav4 is a safe & reliable way to go.
