Love the rav4, easy to drive, love the 4wd in a compact car!

I was initially very impressed with the rav, as it is a comfortable ride and having the 4wd along with my distance road experience is perfect. I live in a rural area, many of the roads are gravel and during winter conditions, the rav does well with a simple transition to the 4wd option when needed. . It sits high enough off the ground but yet not too high for comfortably getting in/out of vehicle. . During our worst winter the rav struggled in a 2.5 foot snow and was too light to plow thru fresh snow but once on packed icy roads it handles well. . The mileage fuel expense I think can be a bit better, since its a compact but overall fits our needs well. . I think having the spare tire as an option is a discredit to the car, this should come standard. We opted for the spare mount on the back door of the vehicle because there was no designated built in space. . The rav has quick response, quick take-off and overall easy to maneuver. I give the rav two thumbs up.

Rav4 is my forever car: safe and reliable.

My first car was a 1997 Toyota 4runner. It was already 10 years old when I started driving it. After surviving 3 first time drivers, it finally was laid to rest in 2016. When I finally purchased my first car, I knew it had to be a Toyota but something smaller: a rav4. My first major car accident was 2 years after: $15, 000 worth of damage. I walked away with some bruising from my seat belt: that car saved my life. I went ahead and bought another rav4 after that. It rides well, not like a sports car would, but I know that rain, sleet, or snow, that car will get me there and handle it all. I also know I am safe and so are the ones I love. I like the way a v6 drives. I pretty much only take it to the shop from oil changes and inspections. Toyota has amazing warranties on its vehicles and parts. I have leather seats which I love - they survive a 70 pound dog and many trips.

My Toyota, rav4. I love it!

It is a great car. Very reliable, great performance. Accelerates very quickly for a 4 cylinder. It is also quite comfortable to drive and to ride in. Has leather seats that are easy to keep clean. It has all wheel drive, which is great for the snow. Very nice stereo system with Bluetooth. Have had no problems with it so far and I love it. Has good heat and air conditioning. Adjustment for seats and steering wheel. Back seats fold down for extra space if traveling with a large item. The rear space is large for transporting many shopping items, etc. Back door swings open instead of lifting overhead. I like that feature due to the fact that I am short. Nice smooth and quiet ride. Awesome vehicle, I love it and would highly recommend it.
