The maintenance on the car has been tremendous. We have change the oil and inspected it. We have put brakes on it and that is the only major thing that we've had to do to it. I would recommend this car to anyone. It has 47,000 miles on it and we have not replaced the tires yet that would be the next big item.

Rav4 is a very good car to drive.
My rav4 is silver I love to drive it, it has 20234 miles on it. I do not drive very much but when I do I enjoy driving the rav4. It a good handling car get good gas miles and the up keep is good. My husband like to drive the rav4 also when we go on long trip to NC we take turn driving the rav4 and my grandsons also love driving the rav4 around town and going to the movies and shopping, with all the room the rav4 has to hold just about anything.

Great little SUV for the beach.
I purchased my 2014 Toyota rav4 used in 2016 with less than 25k miles on it. I upgraded the interior to Katzkin leather. I love this vehicle! It is reliable and drives well. It is a great beach vehicle for trips to Corpus Christi!! I do wish the gas mileage was better and it had more power driving up hills.

A moving vehicle of dents and cracks.
This car damages too easily. I park on the street overnight and in parking lots when I am shopping, which is mainly what this car is used for. The slightest bump or scrape against it by another car and very deep dents result or bumpers pulled off. It holds very little more than my Toyota Corolla did. There are too many small shelves or cubby holes that are too small to be useful so they serve no purpose. Horrible gas mileage. I can get 28 miles per gallon if the SUV is completely empty and I am driving on the highway. Otherwise I average 23 miles per gallon which I find obscene in these days of climate challenge. I cannot even sell it or trade it in because the damage that has been done to my car cosmetically lowers its value tremendously and the cosmetics cost too much to repair. Very sorry I ever sold my Corolla for this car.

Reliable car, minor issues.
Very reliable car, haven't had any engine/transmission (mechanical) issues. The only issues are squeaky brakes that seem to come back even after being fixed and the stereo system broke 4 years into owning the car so that was not covered by warranty and would have cost about $1200 to get fixed.

The toyota rav4 is a great car. I find this vehicle to be extremely safe and very reliable. I have own it for a few years and never had any major problems with it, only maintenance repairs. I have many extra add on that make it even better such as late departure and the light to show other car in the blind spot.

Dependable and reliable but does not look like a soccer mom’s car.
Very easy to drive and back up camera makes parking a breeze. Sits high making me feel safer on the road. Lots of space for all passengers, amble leg room, ample storage space. For some reason the windshield is very difficult to clean on the inside, which allows for a lot of glare at night or when traveling into sunlight.

Rav4 is the best Toyota!
My car has great gas mileage! It seats 5 comfortably, with cloth seats. It has Bluetooth for music and phone. It can store your contacts as well as music. It has 3 ports for charging. The center council holds a ton and even has coin holders. The cup holders are evenly spread out so you do not knock anything over. And the display is touch screen.

Will never buy anything besides a Toyota again!
My 2014 rav 4 has been the best vehicle, I do not see myself every buying anything else. I love all the features the vehicle has. It has a sport and eco mode, usually I leave the eco mode to help save on gas money. The radio and touch screen are great it has hidden compartments for when I am going somewhere and need to hide valuable items. It is great if you have pets easy to clean and spacious. I have 3 large dogs and all of them fit well. I feel safe driving because of the size. The only thing I have issues with are the seats, after a long trip they hurt my back and get slightly uncomfortable. Everything else is great! I could not be more pleased!

The car comes with a reverse camera which makes reversing a bit easier.
The Toyota rav4 is a great SUV. It is not too big nor is it not too small but just right. It can hold up to five people very comfortably. It is great for road trips since it has the option to drive on sport mode or eco mode. Sport mode helps when riding on rougher roads. It is also great on gas and mileages.

Toyota rav4 XLE is a reliable, attractive vehicle.
I love my rav4. We haven't had any maintenance issues and it is been a safe car to drive. I purchased this after looking at the Honda CR-V. They are basically the same car, however I prefer the sporty look of the rav4. Toyota has one of the best reputations for long lasting vehicles. I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off.

The 2014 Toyota rav4 is a fantastic car, I have hardly had any problems with it. The only thing it lacks would be the radio and speakers. The touchscreen display can be difficult to use sometimes and the speakers are just average, maybe a little quiet. Other than that, it is a nice car to drive and is mechanically sound.

Rav4 drive and care guide.
I have had no problems with my rav4. It has gotten me from home to the northwest, northeast, southwest and New England. It has been to the rocky mt. And both oceans. It handles well on mt. Roads and ocean side roads. I will look into buying a new one when I need a new car.

My rav4 is the love of my life.
The 2014 rav4 XLE features Bluetooth capable radio, spacious interior, a/c, electric window controls, reclining front and rear seats, tinted windows, and eco friendly driving mode. After 3 years of ownership, no obvious mechanical issues and no recalls. Maintenance is affordable and simple. Only complaint would ve moderate road noise, but a very smooth and comfortable ride overall. Seems very reliable with some comfort features, ample safety features, and limited issues.

Great car, disappointing mileage.

Great gas mileage. Decent size SUV for hauling average household stuff. Love my sunroof. Bluetooth is helpful too when driving. Fits 4 adults comfortably. Good leg room. I drive long distance for family and I can stretch and move around just fine. Has USB charging as well as cigarette lighter plug in for charging. Also have a place to plug in av cord for my iPod. Center console is deep enough to store stuff. Love that it tells me when my tire pressure is low since our weather changes drastically sometimes.

Leg room needs improvement.
The back seats could be a bit more comfortable they seem to be a bit flimsy and cheap looking. There is not enough leg space in the back and since the seats are collapsible they could have been placed further back. There is no arm support for the driver right side which is a negative for me. I really like the built in "shelf" on the passenger side it is very convenient for phones or wallets.

The corolla is such a gas saver especially if you plan a lot of road trips. It is such a reliable car for when you need to go to work. The car is comfortable and it has enough space for a family of four. We've never had problems with it so there’s really nothing I can complain about on this car. We’ve had for more than a decade and we still enjoy this car for road trips. It is a good first car for a teenager because you know how blind spots can affect how we drive.

Vehicle gets good gas mileage and is very reliable. Have never had any mechanical problems with the vehicle. The front seats are not very comfortable for long drives as the ergonomics put pressure on the lower back. The acceleration suffers because the vehicle is slow to shift between gears.

Toyota rav4 - awesome family vehicle.
It is been a very reliable vehicle. I have taken it on road trips all over the country and even down to Mexico. I wish it had a little more power under the hood, but at the same time that is probably why it gets such great gas mileage. There’s plenty of space in the backseat and in the front. I take it skiing at times and wish I had gone with the all wheel drive version. It still handles well in the snow though.

I love this car! It is very reliable and safe for my family. I love having a sunroof, tinted windows, and leather. I also find it very helpful to have keyless entry and easy to use. When I have groceries or my child and all her things it makes it easy to open my door without having to use my keys. Only downside is forgetting to lock my door because I am not physically taking keys out. Backup camera is helpful as well.

Great SUV, fun to drive and economical.
One thing I do not like is that there's no way to open the trunk by the remote. It has to be done manually and it is heavy. I also wish there wasn't as much road noise, it seems that is an issue with Toyota. The car is reliable, good on gas, roomy, good amount of cargo space. I have a sunroof but I really have never used it.

The gas pedal had a long lag time and the seats can be hard.
There are no problems besides the lag time from when you put down the gas pedal and the car jolts into motion. If you are wanting the car to go fast quickly, it will not do so. It needs a couple of seconds to actually kick in. Beyond that I find no other issues with the car or how it functions. The seats can be a bit hard though.

The rav4 is a great family car with many features.
At nearly 80k miles, my rav4 has never had any issues. It is great in the snow and off road (beach driving). It has great power when in sports mode. The back seats fold down, so we have been able to pick up furniture etc. This is the first car I have owned with a rear camera, a feature I find very helpful living in the city.

Car that will last a lifetime.
The rav4 is average when it comes to the interior. Cheap and does not hold up the best. Not fancy in anyway. Bluetooth has issues often with connectivity. Maintenance is affordable though. Good on gas. Does have a small gas tank and is a 4 cylinder. Has decent pick up considering.

Reliable with a few minor flaws!
The vehicle is great and reliable! I bought this car used and have used it for six years and only had a few problems. The air conditioner has held up in extreme heat. The breaks have only been replaced once. The tires have only been replaced once. I did have to get the entire engine replaced because the overheated but I still love the car.

No shelf life to the rav4.
For a fairly new vehicle it looks really old and broke down. I am missing a hubcap, which makes it look really junkie. It was just missing one day and too hard to get ahold of another one. The right side view mirror has just snapped off and looks really bad. The body of this car is not really made well. Also the brakes needs replacing, those went down really fast. No shelf life to this car.

My car drives really well people who are used to driving in luxury vehicles are always surprised by how smooth the ride is. It also handles well I think it is pretty nimble considering its size. I love my rav4 & it loves me back
I have had to replace the tires and brakes but that isn't necessarily anything besides normal wear and tear. I love my rav4. Plenty of room for all of my groceries, bags for road trips, and my dogs! Toyota rav4 will probably be the only car I drive from now on.
In the 4 years I have had my car it has only needed maintenance. It is comfortable and reliable and is running strong with 160k miles. The air conditioning and heat work really well without needing any work, the bluetooth is excellent, and with the seats down in the back seat I have been able to move furniture with this car. I plan to get another car the same make and model when this one goes.

My rav4 is reliable & is a good car for what I need it for.
I have had my rav4 for about 3 years now & it is been pretty reliable so far. The only reason I would get a different car would be for aesthetic purposes. But I haven't had any problems with it getting me anywhere, I do keep up regular maintenance with it, so I am sure that helps. Sometimes the Bluetooth will randomly not connect to my phone to play music, but that is really the only feature I use in the car. The graphics for the GPS are not appealing, so I just use the GPS on my phone. The voice control for my phone has not worked the couple of times I have tried to use it, but those are both just extra features for what I truly need my car for, obviously not deal-breakers.

My vehicle is good. It did have a problem with car battery wires at one point.
My 2014 Toyota rav4 is convenient to me in every way possible, as someone who identifies as a relatively simple individual. I typically only use a car for work and/or school purposes, with the occasional leisure trip included in the mix too. An issue I once encountered with my vehicle, however, since it is not perfect, was that at one point, the wires to the battery became loose and that really messed up with my brakes for a while. I’d sometimes have to pull over to the side of the road in order to not delay any traffic because of how immobile it would grow to be during those times. However, as far as I am concerned, that does not happen anymore.

Toyota rav4 XLE review 2020.
I absolutely love my rav4 and could not be happier. I have not had any mechanical issues with it yet. The seats are so comfortable and there are ten cup holders. I kid you not, the middle cup holder can fit a whole 750 ml wine bottle perfectly. I have backup camera/touch screen stereo where I can stream my Spotify through. I do not think I'll ever buy another vehicle without the backup camera because that feature probably saved my life a couple of times. My whole family drives Toyota because they are mechanically sound, easy and affordable to fix. It gets 25 miles per gallon and has 176 horsepower. The vehicle is well balanced and is quiet on the highway and rides really smooth. There are 3 modes, a eco mode, a sport mode and a normal mode. The sport mode quickens throttle response and holds shift points longer and firms up the steering feel. The eco mode is aiming at maximizing the fuel economy and the normal mode is what should be on for most of the driving time. It can go zero to sixty in under ten seconds and on the sport setting it can go zero to sixty in six seconds.

Fair maintenance but some paint upkeep issues.
We have not had any issues with our vehicle so far. We have had to do regular maintenance but nothing additional. We have noticed that the balance of the tires seems to be a bit off over the years we fixed this when we got new tires. We have found that the paint chips more easily that we have had with vehicles in the past. This has been a bit frustrating, but we are dealing with it by trying to keep up with the maintenance of the paint to keep the car looking well.

Reliable family car, smooth ride.
Our rav4 has been an extremely reliable vehicle. The routine maintenance is affordable and there have been no issues. Aside from normal maintenance and repairs (replacing burned out bulbs, wiper blades, tires, etc), we haven't run into any unexpected expenses for repairs while leasing, and eventually purchasing, this vehicle. I am able to easily install two car seats in the rear seat using the latch system. Kids are not yet forward facing, but there are two anchors available for that as well. The car handles great in inclement weather, we feel safe driving our family in snow or icy conditions. There is a pretty significant amount of road noise, but the car provides a smooth ride. Would absolutely consider another Toyota rav4 as a future purchase.

It performs well. I love the heated seats. The only problem is there is no air vents in the back seat. There are a lot of cup holders which is nice. Leather seats are easy to clean. My car is a beautiful dark blue, but shows scratches easily. The lights are also bright.

Great for MN winters, toting my dogs around, traveling, compact size. Haven't had any mechanical issues yet, rides pretty smooth. Interior has lots of fun compartments. I love the button compartment above the glove box. I also really like the side swing trunk door.

Excellent family vehicle for everyday.
The rav 4 is a great family car that seats up to five people comfortably. You are able to see the road at a clearer view. The ride feels very smooth, not jerky at all. Not too flashy, but a good everyday vehicle that is perfect for teaching first time drivers. My family’s preferred car when running errands due to the large trunk space.

2014 Toyota rav4 positive review.
It is six years old and still runs great. Very smooth ride with brakes and gas that are sensitive but not too sensitive. The interior finish looks great. I have had routine oil changes and no major problems with the car. One tire pressure sensor broke one winter, but nothing else.

No real complaints, here.
I have only drove it a couple times as it is not my vehicle directly, it is a family member’s. However, it is very comfortable, it drives smooth and feels more like a sedan than an SUV. It is at a little over 60k miles and it is only had to have basic maintenance done, my family member who owns it loves it and there’s never really complaints from anyone who rides inside (except for heavier people who sit in the backseat, the seatbelts do not accommodate large bodies very well, but this is an issue on any vehicle).

I am a rav4 lover for life!
I love the rav4! It is compact enough that you can fit in all parking spaces, even right garages, but big enough that you feel safe on the road. I will never go back to a sedan, and plan to continue to buy rav4s in the future. Gets great gas mileage, is reliable, fast, and good looking. She’s held up to tons of use and stayed looking and performing fantastically, great choice for a safe and economically smart SUV.

Toyota RAV4 is a great purchase, highly recommend
Overall I love my RAV4 and honestly have few bad things to say about it. It's not so big that I feel like I am driving a large vehicle but still has a lot space. The trunk is great and can fit more than I could ever need for 1 person, especially when the back row folds down. I've been able to use it to carry furniture and even enough luggage from 5 people during a trip. It's incredibly comfortable and has held up really well for a lot of those long trips too. Although while it seats 5 people, that can become uncomfortable and 4 is probably the max amount passengers would prefer. Performance wise I have never had any issues with my vehicle other than the standard maintenance. It drives great in snow, which I see a lot of in the Midwest, the 4 wheel drive is a must for me. A couple things I don't love about it that I think Toyota could improve on are: 1. The air circulation. Sitting in the back of the vehicle the air conditioning does not flow well as there are few vents for the air to circulate. Driving passengers on a hot day can be uncomfortable those in the car. 2. Miles per gallon/size of gas tank. The tank is pretty small in my opinion for a car of this size, filling up to only 12 gallons max when I am on empty. Additionally, I do find that I am filling up my tank quite frequently due to how small it is. When it is full I usually get around 300-350 or so miles until it's empty again.

My vehicle has a few quirks but I love it.
I love my rav4! I have always been a jeep kind of girl. The interior is nice and so comfortable to sit in. The engine runs good because I get it serviced routinely. The gas does burn quickly which causes me to spend money but I still love my dear car. The radio is clear and runs smoothly. This was a great purchase!

Size of the vehicle just right for my family. The engine are good for long terms. I just want the color of outside and inside to be change. Inside space was so great for a parent like me so what are you looking for go find your own and liking it. Hoping to get a pick up too.

Perfect family car for everyone to use and is super comfortable
The car rarely had problems which is amazing for the amount of time of having the car. Downside is that since it's an older car, there's no way for me to set up my phone to play my own music, but listening to the radio is fine. Overall, the car is an excellent purchase.

Rav4: Spacious and reliable, but can sometimes be too much car in town
The vehicle has a bit of a slow start when accelerating, but there are no other performance issues. The Rav4 is very reliable. The rav4 is also really spacious, which is great for camping or other activities. However, if all of your driving is in the city and you do not have children, the rav4 might be a bit too big.

Rav4 is small enough for great maneuvering and pretty good on gas for an SUV.
I really haven’t had any problems that are not termed as personal use. The items that have been fixed or replaced have been my own wear and tear that have to be replaced due to use. Brakes. Battery. Headlight. Items like that. The only problem I have encountered is the radio stopped working and I have no idea why.

Drive smooth, comfortable and a lot of space. Look elegant nice color inside and outside. I do not have any problems or concerns about vehicle, I do not el want to change it. I will continue driving it until I can. Is a family car can be drive anywhere. Does no spend much gas.

Visibility is sometimes an issue.
This is actually the best car I have ever had. No problems whatsoever. I'd highly recommend it. 50, 000 miles and still going strong.

Amazing Rav4 stylish and reliable.
It is a smooth ride, very reliable car great in the snow and ice conditions. The seat is comfortable and visibility is great. I love the AWD and sunroof in my model. The trunk and backseat space is very convenient. Very stylish car as well, looks good. Will stick with my Rav4 for years.

It is a good family car it is spacious and it's pretty good on gas the only problems I've had with it what's the fan for the AC I have to change that I'm regular on my oil changes last week my battery went out so I had to go out and buy a new battery

Economical, compact SUV that provides a smooth and comfortable ride.
I really like the Toyota RAV4. It's very comfortable, easy to drive, & has great features. However, it does have a pretty big blind spot which can be very hazardous.

This car is great to drive.
I haven't had any problems. It is comfortable and drives smoothly. It's hardly car that looks good and takes you where you need to go. Armor All shines the interior and exterior really well. It a quiet car. The rear view camera gives you a good idea of how far you are from someone or something. I have never hit anything while using it. The brakes are responsive as well.

I love my rav4 it has been a very reliable vehicle I have had a very good experience with Toyota and their products they are great cars that last for a very long time and with little problems. It is kind of rough riding and a bit uncomfortable with a rough ride over bumps. But otherwise I have really enjoyed my rav 4 it is dependable and I have had no problems with either of the two Toyota vehicles I have owned.

No faults, comfortable and efficient car.
The rav4 handles and accelerates very smoothly. The gas mileage has also very good at almost 30 mpg. It handles very cell in the rain and is very comfortable to take on long road trips. I have not had any issues with reliability or performance and would recommend this car.

Rav4 all the way. Toyota is a great choice in purchasing a vehicle.
Always reliable, comfortable, easy to drive. Great with gas. Maintenance like brakes, tires, etc are not too expensive. Alerts you when it's time for an oil change or any other issue. Plenty of room and great trunk space. Can haul a lot of items. Rack on top for anything bulk.

2014 Toyota rav4 highly recommended.
My rav4 is one of the best cars I have owned. Plenty of space in all areas, especially the trunk space and wonderful gas mileage. Only complaint is the battery tends to drain a lot quicker than any other car I have had. I have replaced it 3x already in six years.
