2012 Sequoia problems
I love my vehicle but my problem is with this issue that Toyota fails to want to cover, the 4lo light, engine light and trac off light come on and it is a air injection issue that continues to happen and nothing is covered so you pay a great amount of money to fix it. This is an issue with the Tundra as well and Toyota still doesnt cover anything when it clearly is a problem with the manufacturing of these vehicles.

That it runs well and is a good road trip vehicle.
Like- fits my whole family plus all our fear, roomy third seat, easy to drive, looks good.... Dislike- high gas prices to fill tank.

Overall I like the model of it and the details I like are how the ac runs.
There's times where the brakes have difficulty in working based on the engine of the car and how long it can last in running before the brakes start to not work but the mileage is really good and the color of the car is nice. There's also a table on the back of the passenger seat so you can pull it out and set things on it, especially if you are eating in the car.

Great family vehicle, especially for kids!
Very roomy. Perfect for families with children. Reliable if you keep up with maintenance. Is a little bit of a gas guzzler but it is not terrible for the size of the vehicle. It runs extremely smooth as well for the size and the height that you end up sitting since it is a larger vehicle.

A great, long lasting car.
It's an older car but has a lot of the features I wanted in a newer car. Bluetooth, remote start, heated seats, etc. It hasn't really had any problems other than normal tune up stuff. The interior cleans up very well despite the efforts of my two kids to trash it. I have been extremely happy with it overall.

Great quality and features.
My sequoia has over 200,000 miles at this point, and is still running smoothly. I have had a couple of issues with the rear seat belts, but that could be due to my children. All in all, I highly recommend this car and all of its features. One of my favorite features is that the back window rolls down.

Great family car, great for road trips.
Overall my Toyota has been a great vehicle. I have always taken car in for routine maintenance. (oil change, tire rotation, etc. ) In the time I have had it I have had brake work and ac work. It has 135, 000 miles and runs well.

It's comfortable and roomy. It looks great and has a stylish design.
I love the space and third row option. I don't love the gas mileage or how hard it is to see the cars around you. I also wish there was more storage when the third row is up.

Looking for the ultimate family adventure car? Look no further...
Bought this car as our family car and it has not disappointed! We have 3 kids, all in car seats and boosters, and they all fit comfortably in the middle row, leaving tons of space in the back for friends, groceries, strollers, or whatever else we need to pack for our next adventure. The console features are easy to use, and my 6 year old can easily reach the DVD player from the middle row. We splurged for the auto fold down 3rd row and it has been the best perk - no hopping in the back and hauling and folding down seats - just the press of a button and it transforms the 3rd row into whatever we need. Lots of cup holders placed throughout the vehicle and the center console can hold a ton of stuff. This was our dream car purchase as our family was growing and we have never had car envy since! The backup camera has been really helpful for parking lots and garages and I feel confident when driving.

Really love this vehicle!
This car is a wonderful buy. This car has tons of storage for carpooling or long road trips with the kids. This is one of my favorite cars I have ever driven. If you are looking for a newer more 'up to date' car, then I would choose something else as this car is very 1990's.

Smooth driving family car.
Car runs extremely smooth, great for us that have two babies, meaning we have two car seats and my wife still fits in between of them. Car has great space for us. It is not terrible on gas but it isn't the cheapest on our wallet either. Trunk space it fantastic, as it has folding seats in back. I do wish it had some things that make life easier. Sr5 does not have backup camera, no remote starter, not hands free trunk opening.

Toyota sequoia is a reliable vehicles.
Very dependable. No major issues in 7 years. It is very roomy and perfect for hauling groceries, extra kids or almost anything. It is especially comfortable on long trips. We have taken it on trips over twelve hours many times. All I do for upkeep is change oil and rotate tires.

It's a very well made car and will get many years out of it
Vehicle is very roomy. It's also easy to drive. Only negative is that it's very large and at sometimes difficult to park

Toyota sequoia a great and reliable choice.
The only real drawback to the Toyota sequoia for me is the gas mileage and lack of storage room. I do feel as if I am always filling the gas tank. I would also be beneficial to have a larger gas tank as well. A typical fill up consists of 21-22 gallons. This is the second sequoia I have owned and live the looks, the drive, ability to drive in all road conditions, and the reliability.

Best car for a mom when you are going from work to school pick up to sports. Everything fits but the car is not too big
Very comfortable, easy to drive, everything is within drivers reach (radio, ac, lights), enough leg room for kids, enough "trunk" (back of SUV) space for all the kids sports items, drink holders for front and back, rear air control

Reliability and safety! No problems whatsoever with engine or electrical!
Toyota vehicles are great! This specific one requires the usual maintenance, and that's about it! My husband takes it for oil change and filter change when needed, and we buy new tires when we need to, and that's it! No problems, mechanical or electrical! Very reliable and we enjoy it very much!

One of my favorite details is the back window rolls down.
I marked wrong answer. I love my sequoia. I do not like the large size. Hard to drive and park. I also have alignment issues. I can fit three paddle boards and three people at same time. Lots of legroom on all three rows of seats. Verisafe. Great in snow! And bad weather.

It's a decent quality car for the price. Safe on the road but not very good on mileage in the city.
It's very roomie and very safe. Not very good on mileage though

Comfortable, spacious ride.
The vehicle drives smoothly and comfortably fits family and friends. Even the back row is spacious enough for older kids or adults. It has a decent towing capacity and a lot of storage. I especially like that the rear seats can be put up or down individually instead of having to put the entire bench seat up or down. The vents help to keep everyone cool in the summer.

It is very sleek and a good car for someone looking for a truck but who also needs to seat more people.
My vehicle is a very good vehicle. It is large enough to fit all friends and family. It is also fuel efficient

Navigation system to get you where you need to be with comfort.
I have no problems with my vehicle. . It is very roomy and great for a family of 6 or more. . It is great when taking long trips. . It is not the best when it comes to gas mileage, but it is worth the cost of it. . Also great because it has a navigation system.

It is a big SUV that is considered a truck body style and acceleration with v8.
The 2012 Toyota sequoia is big, impressive and hard to ignore. What's really surprising, however, is just how refined this full-size truck-based SUV can be. Inside, the sequoia offers a huge, well-equipped cabin with comfortable seating for eight passengers (or seven with the available second-row captain's chairs). Equally noteworthy is the sequoia ride quality, which, thanks to its independent rear suspension, is markedly better than a number of other big SUVs. This is especially true of the sequoia's top-of-the-line platinum models fitted with the three-mode 'adaptive' suspension. The sequoia has the hard-working angle covered, too, with an available 381-horsepower 5.7-liter v8 engine that delivers strong acceleration and a 7,400-pound towing capacity. An available four-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case and a healthy 10 inches of ground clearance also makes this beast reasonably capable off-road. An enormous cargo bay with second- and third-row seats that fold to create a flat load floor adds yet more practicality. The 2012 Toyota sequoia is offered with one of two v8 engines. Both are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel drive. The optional four-wheel drive features a two-speed transfer case with electronic shifting and push-button locking. A ticking noise may develop from the engine due to a cracked exhaust manifold. Damaged exhaust manifolds will require replacement to correct this issue.

Love my Sequoia Platinum!
Love my vehicle! It's spacious but not too big. Has a dvd player that my children love and definitely helps on long trips! Runs great and is definitely a vehicle I would buy again.

Toyota are very reliable. The trucks highlights are the smooth comfortable ride
The SUV is very reliable and still runs like new. The ride is very comfortable and smooth and it's not that bad on gas considering it's a SUV. The inside is very roomy and the leather seats are heated and air conditioned on the front seats. Can store a lot in the back with both seating rows fold down for your convenience.

Great ride for a big car.
With the sequoia being a heavy car, brakes and tires need replaced a lot. It has a great ride, especially for long trips. Cargo room is ample. The third row is comfortable and plenty of seating and leg room. The features are good, in car navigation and satellite radio is great to have as well.

A great SUV that will keep you happy for a long time.
No problems thus far. Love the vehicle and it is performance. It has good pickup. It drives pretty smooth. Great suspension. Trunk space leaves a bit to be desired but we've packed for vacation in it and it works for us. I would recommend a roof storage bin.
