Toyota tundra. The truck for the outsiders.
The Toyota tundra is the best vehicle you can have for a family that plays sports. The truck is durable and easy to drive. I have had no engine trouble with the tundra. We also go to the beach a lot in Hawaii. And this truck does the job. Big enough to fit all the kids with all our tents, surfboards, tables, tents, coolers, and chairs. You cannot go wrong with this Toyota tundra.

Safe and reliable! Regular maintenance keeps it running great.
It's very comfortable to ride in, easy to drive. It gets good mileage for a truck of its size. I have added a shell but that's made it very hard to see out the back. The 3 layers of dark glass are what makes it hard to see.

It has survived for a long time despite being driven all over the US
The car is dying out. Have had it for too long and the transmission is giving up. Because of this driving is a hazard but I have no other choice for work. But it's not a bad car, lasted me this long ! It drives well, can take lots of miles on it and such.

Leather is the way to go. It is so much easier to clean.
Serves my needs. Very dependable. Not great gas mileage. I use it primarily for running around town, although it is quite handy for towing my trailer.

Never a problem.
Bought new in 2003. 290,000 miles. Not a single problem. I hope to reach 400,000.

Great truck, always reliable
Great truck, completely reliable, just a basic truck, not luxurious, always gets me to where I need to go.

Your getting a dependable vehicle that will last for years with regular maintenance.
I love the durability of my vehicle. I never have to worry if I'm going to get to my destination. The only thing that I dislike is that I don't get good gas mileage.

It last for a lifetime, if you do regular maintenance.
No problems, this truck is the best that I have owed yet I do recommend anyone to own a Toyota if they want a vehicle that last.

This truck is great - ish.
I have had a ton of problems with this truck. I have had to replace the transmission, the engine light is constantly on, the catalytic converters have needed to be replaced, it seems to always need a tune up, and the gas mileage leaves something to be desired. I however, believe this has more to do with the previous owner than the vehicle itself. When it is in proper working order, I love driving this truck. It is a manual so it is even more fun. I have always had plenty of room for everything from grocery trips to moving. It is a pretty comfy truck.

I love my tundra. The best truck I have ever had
No issues very reliable I can drive it anywhere all it needs its maintenance it's still like new. The engine runs great. Very clean and it runs smooth and drives nice. I love it. When You step on the gas it has a nice kick to it. You put it on cruise control and it feels like you are flying

Reliability
I bought my 2004 Tundra SR5 brand new. It has been great, big but not to big. I used the 4WD high all of the time, used the 4WD low twice. I get it serviced regularly, have @142.000 Miles and hope this is the last vehicle I will buy. I love my Tundra!

Tough, rough, and perfect for work and play. You will get the value out of it!
I enjoy the power of the v8 it has, dislike the fuel mileage that comes along with it. The crew cab limits space but provides room for a full size bed. Conclusion i enjoy the power and luxury of the truck but take issue the lack of space.

Rust issues of Toyota pickup trucks.
I needed to have an engine seal replaced, oxygen sensors, steering arms, battery. The biggest problem was a rust problem with all of the undercarriage, primarily the frame. Toyota recalled the vehicle and sprayed undercoater on top of the rust which was a waste. For this reason I will never buy another Toyota.

It does not break down, regular maintenance keeps this running well.
I bought it new, and with 165K on it, it has never left me stranded. It is reasonable on gas for what I have, overall performance is great.

2004 Toyota Tundra 4 wheel Drive Double Cab
I have not had any problems with my truck. The only money this truck has cost is the typically yearly maintenance. It's the full double cab version which allows for plenty of room inside the truck to ride comfortably. The truck can pull a heavy load with no problems. When winter is here, the 4 wheel drive works great. My main complaint is the gas mileage.

Great reliable roomy truck.
Great truck to drive. Have had minimal mechanical problems as long as you keep up on maintenance. Love having 4 wheel drive for the snow and the ability to haul. Its fits my family well but being a v8 goes through gas very quickly. However it has a lot of power.

SUV nice big interior and medical kit included.
We bought it used. The price was right. We have never had a minutes trouble with it. It is the perfect size for my husband and I when we travel.

Toyota Tundras are reliable, sturdy, and fun to drive.
I love my Tundra. It's reliable and sturdy. I expect it will last at least 200,000 miles. I have no complaints!

2004 tundra limited extended cab.
Great vehicle. Comfortable. Dependable. Quality. Simple. Nice design. Reliable. Toyota is a trustworthy brand and makes great vehicles. The year and model I have is everything I need and am happy with it. The leather seats are nice. I wish there was more space under the back seats but other than that it is a fine vehicle.

Toyota Tundra usually burn gas but the maintenance helps keep it.
Pickup truck with a V8 also good on fuel updated with tech. Bought used and low mileage and haven't had any issues as of yet even with the age of the vehicle.

It is a Toyota, the best made vehicles made in America.
Always runs, safe, can haul anything either tow or in bed, wish it got better gas mileage, but it is the most reliable truck I have owned.

My car is always good on snow, highly reliable, and good resale value
My car has a very low maintenance cost, and simply does not give me major problem, and very good on snow. Performs at a higher level, very reliable, and also on high demand for sale. The only minor problem for my car is high gas cost. The tundra base engine is very strong. As I said before, It's full economy ratings of 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway are among the lowest in our full size pickup truck
accountCircle chuck m on August 30, 2019
The truck was built to last, and is very dependable in all weather conditions.
Love the truck, has capacity storage, and towing capability. Gets decent gas mileage and is room enough for 4 people. Wished I would have bought the double cab.
accountCircle Matt S on August 30, 2019
Lots of space and lots of ability to haul.
My Toyota tundra has been very reliable. I purchased it used and it now has over 180, 000 miles on it. I rarely do anything other than change the oil and fill with gas. I commute 40 miles per day to work. There have been a few problems with the catalytic converter/emissions and the transmission but this was several years ago. I love the convenience of having an extended cab for my family while still being able to haul lots of stuff in the bed. The gas mileage is not great but it is a full sized truck after all. I cut and haul lots of firewood and the tundra does this with no problems.

That is is very reliable.
Reliable vehicle that I use everyday. Has never had any major mechanical issues. Wish it was never, but never had a better truck.
accountCircle Tomás B on July 25, 2019
Toyota Tundra is a reliable vehicle which can be expected to remain in service for a long time with relatively low maintenance costs.
Vehicle was reasonably priced. It is very mechanically reliable. Handling and maneuverability is excellent for a full-size pickup truck. No complaints.

It is old but has lasted a long time and has a lot of miles on it
It has lasted a long time. The air conditioning is not very good. The paint job is coming off and is ugly. It is not comfortable to ride or drive in. It is old so it doesn't have any good features in it. The tires have to be replaced often because the thread is always bad.

RELIABLE TUNNY: my green truck
I bought my truck new in 2004. Dix cylinder; standard transmission. I have 95,000 miles on it. Never had bit of trouble with the engine. No rattles to this day. One recall concerning airbags. I have no intention of replacing it especially because it has an 'extended cab' which is no longer available on any pickup.
accountCircle Sean M on July 1, 2019
Gas mileage, tires are expensive, Toyota builds vehicles to last.
Great for being able to transport stuff. Also a great truck for trailing things around. I like that it is safe and I have 180,000 miles on it and it has not given me much trouble.

My personal experience with Toyota Tundra
It gets 15 mpg but runs smoothly, has needed a few repairs including a carrier bearing. I love driving it and would recommend somebody buying a Toyota Tundra
accountCircle Brad R on June 16, 2019
It has 335,000 miles on it.
Got the truck brand new in 2004 with only test drive miles on it. It now has 335,000+ miles on it and it still drives like the day I bought it. I wish I had 3 more of them.

It gets going even though it is a v6
It's a great working vehicle as long as you change the oil regularly and take care of the truck I love Toyota

It guzzles gas like no other, but worth it if you need a big truck
I dislike the gas mileage but I like the space and the ability to fit all my fishing gear and 5 people comfortably

The ultimate power of the Tundra!
It's a great truck! We've towed a bunch of things with it. Primarily a boat. It's a pretty smooth ride for a truck. Pretty good gas mileage. It's too big for my tastes and I it is hard to park in many parking g situations. I also don't like how tall it is because I wear skirts and heels and it's never ladylike climbing in. But we are always the first ones called if someone is moving or stuck in the mud. We have NEVER not been able to pull another vehicle out of being stuck. Even once we pulled a Jeep out of the lake!
accountCircle Carlos M on December 26, 2018
The best 1st generation 04 Tundra out there.
Having problems finding good quality affordable parts. My car is a truck comfy and fun to ride. I recently got mud tires and exhaust and looking to do more.

Best truck for high mileage.
The only thing that I would change about this vehicle is the steering is very short. Other than that, it is a wonderful work truck! I am able to store lots of materials in the truck and still have enough room. The engine is also a wonder, I have put over 300k miles on it and it still runs beautifully.
