Yaris: fun, reliable and affordable, with a low annual operating cost.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

My Yaris gets 31 mpg with mixed driving of in town and freeway. It is small so it parks easily in any space. The hatchback allows me to put purchases, briefcase, or luggage away easily, and if needed the back seat folds down to extend the available space. The Yaris has never needed any repairs, only routine maintenance such as oil changes and windshield wiper blades. There are periodic checks and changes for different mileage stages. But nothing has been outside routine care, and between the gas mileage and low cost routine care, it is an economical car to drive. The Yaris has plenty of pep to accelerate to freeway speeds, pass a car, etc. The steering is very responsive, but the car itself is not designed for high speed turns or quick high speed maneuvers. Within the interior there are cubbys, compartments, storage galore. The interior is well designed with most things within the driver's reach. There is great visibility out the front tinted window, but there are some side and back blind spots in all the mirrors. Careful placement of the mirrors, and being aware, easily mitigates this negative. It is not easy to get in the back seats, and if you put a bag or item there, when retrieving it later, it does alter the floor position of the front driver and passenger seats. The only other negative is that there is quite a bit of road noise when on the freeway. I am told this has decreased some in newer models, and there are aftermarket solutions that could be worth the investment depending on how much driving one does. Overall this is a very reliable, low cost, affordable vehicle.

Why A Toyota Yaris is Perfect for a College Student

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

I love this car. It was a gift from by parents who bought it from a friend. It had already been well used, but it has been great for me. Mine is blue and is great for me because I am a college student. I don't really need a big car or truck so this car suits me really well. As a college student, I usually just drive around, stick friends in for trips to get food, go shopping, or even on road trips. I've even made multiple long distance trips by myself in this car and I never doubted that it would get me where I needed to be and back safely. I've never had any issues with any part of the car. I've only ever replaced the tail lights once. I love that the back seats flip down so I can transport all my things from one to place to another very easily. All the features are easily accessible and I enjoy how simple and compact everything is inside the car. Whenever I plan to get a new car I will definitely get one similar to my Yaris.

Love the great gas mileage on our Yaris!

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

I really like the Toyota Yaris. We have a 2007. We get awesome gas mileage, around 38 both city and highway. It is a hatchback, which makes it small and very easy to park, but yet very roomy when you have a lot of luggage or packages/groceries. We usually leave the back seats folded down when we use it since there are just the two of us, this gives us so much room inside, but yet, the back seats are there is we need them. It is very easy to fold and unfold the back seats and takes very little time. All in all this car has been a great car for us throughout the years, very reliable, very low maintenance costs. Hardly ever needs any repairs, just keeps running. We have had it for twelve years and have 160000 miles on it. We bought this vehicle new. The seats are very comfy and very roomy for a small car. My husband is 6'2' and can sit in the backseat, no problem!

Car is suitable for here-to-there purposes.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

This vehicle is mainly for people who want to travel from here to there purposes. It's a very original car, meaning, it does not have all the amenities that an upscale car has. It's really comfortable, small, compact, able to fit in even the smallest spaces in the parking lot. Gas is really good. Can travel 300 miles in one tank. One little problem I have is that when it's windy outside, the car is really light and it moves with the wind... So you have to really grip the wheel when driving in those conditions.

Yaris is dependable, lacks fancy bells

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

The Yaris has been an incredibly reliable car. I've had it for over 10 years, and overall, hasn't needed much repair. It lacking some of the creature comforts other cars offer such as manual windows and locks, and the CD player barely works. But it is dependable to get you to your destination. The battery lasted way longer than any other car I've had. The engine is very compact in this little car, which can make it a little difficult to wrench on, so it is a great thing that it doesn't need much maintenance!

The best feature on my car is the gas mileage.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

My Toyota Yaris was purchased almost three years ago. I really love my car and the best feature I would say that it has is the gas mileage. I am really good about keeping up with oil changes because I know that is the life of the car. My car has sufficient room inside the front seats and the back seats, it drives smoothly with hardly any bumps but yet it is still small enough to fit and good parking spots.

Reliable, and great on gas.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

My Toyota is a bit customized since I bought it used, and the previous owner liked to tinker with it. However, what I can say is that the car runs smoothly and gets great mileage. This car will not be allowing you to be part of a speed chase, but if you want a reliable car and care more for quality, and gas mileage this is a great car to start with.

Toyota Yaris 2007 - Great Little Car

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

It has performed very well, get good gas mileage and easy to drive. Not much room though. If you are about 6 feet tall your legs will not fit comfortably in the front or back seats. With back seats down it has a lot of room for storage or hauling stuff. It has a lot pep on the take off and stops well. I would buy another one.

Sits higher off road than other cars

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

I like that it sits higher than most cars. The seats offer good back support. I've only ever had to change the oil regularly... runs great 140,000 miles. Replacing tires is reasonably priced (small tires). Even changed tail light bulb myself! Great gas mileage! Cheap to fill up with gas! Would definitely buy again!

Yaris: Great for City Parking

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

The car is very light weight so it doesn't absorb bumps and impacts well. However, the small size of the car is great for city driving, it's much easier to find parking. The car has crank windows which was an adjustment. The car does have pretty good gas mileage but still doesn't perform the best on the highways.

Toyota Yaris is tiny but mighty.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Everyone always underestimates the Yaris. It is the perfect city car. Easy to find parking space, easy to pack with furniture and tons of boxes, easy on gas, and easy to maintain. I fully expect my car to reach over 200,000 mi. I have done so much in my car, I refuse to buy an upgrade. I am loyal to my Yaris.

old but still holding strong

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

my vehicle is about 12 years old. At this stage there has been issues and small accidents but my car is still running and getting me to places because of how well I take care of it. My car has new interior and exterior and also it has been through a few battery changes but it is still running smoothly

Awesome miles per gallon!

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

This is the most reliable car I have ever owned. It has a great pick up, awesome mileage, very comfortable and can hold a ton of items in the hatch. The car has never left me stranded and is good on tires. Love the speedometer placement in the center of console. There are cup holders galore!!

- Wendy M

Really good car, low in gas and durable.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

My car even though it is an old car it is super good. He's really a trooper, been through many rides and he still rides like a brand new car. I do not know if the newer models performed the same but 2007 it is really good. I would recommended to people, it is economic car, good and gas very low.

- Linda P

Plain Jane standard hatchback vehicle.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

I've had my car for 12 years and I haven't had any major issues with it. It is been easy maintenance and reliable. It is not high tech and there's nothing electric about it, but it does its' job. It drives comfortably, though I wish it were quieter especially in the backseat. It is a good car.

- Erika A

Not a bad car, would recommend for people not needing to move

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Typical maintenance required. Even when neglecting to maintain for extended periods of time, it will run well and keep going. Car is a little small, but that is to be expected of this type of vehicle. I also wish the engine was more powerful but that is not due to a fault in the vehicle

- Sophie Q

My Car: 50/50 bag of joy and annoyance

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Airbag recall. Floor mats slide/do not stay in place. Great gas mileage. Roomy despite being small. Changing headlights very difficult. Been a great car. Seen 2 moves. Driven many states. Very reliable. One computer malfunction a few years ago where the car turned itself on and died.

- Karen B

Silver 2007 Toyota Yaris. Sleek and compact body. Comfortable cushions.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

The vehicle lasts a long time on gas. Has smooth turning capabilities and is very sturdy. The only real flaw is the airbags in the 2007 model need to be replaced. The brakes do tend to wear out every 100,000 miles or so, but that isn't too bad considering how well it performs.

- Mako M

Great car low cost to maintain.

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Ok this car is small and compact I love the way it zips around. I love Toyotas they are a very dependable vehicle, the parts are fairly low cost for this vehicle. The suspension I feel is lacking on this vehicle but I guess it is because of the small size of the tires.

- Sergio M

comfortable and does not spend almost gasoline easy to park

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

My car is wonderful. Really I love it. Only problems of maintenance. It's easy for conducci'n and spend little gas. I locked my car and is very compact and comfortable. What I like most is that it is small and comfortable and does not spend almost gasoline easy to park

- Barbara R

I like this gasoline/space saver car

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Despite the problems with The Takata airbag System, this car is a gasoline saver and space sever spending less gasoline por miles. I'm able to park on a small space Is a small car with many good features. I like this car a lot but Now I prefer a four doors car.

- Luz P

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

Problems just with the air conditioner and making noise when the car stops. Other then that it's a great reliable car very comfortable. Has radio and CD player also comes with aux. it's good on gas and has never failed me. It's a small compact car 5 seats.

- Krystal A

Reliable,low maintenance budget friendly

2007 Toyota Yaris Base

I have 511,000 miles on mine. Yaris is awesome! I have only done scheduled maintenance on it. I also changed a water pump at 283,000 miles because of a leak. Low low maintenance, and so reliable.
