2009 Toyota Yaris Base
This is the car I've had the longest, and it's been incredibly reliable for me. Mine is a manual, which I love. It shifts seamlessly, for the most part, and it's a really easy and reliable car for everyone. I don't struggle with engine power or anything of that sort, despite it being a pretty small car. It gets usually around 35 mpg, which is great and keeps my gas costs low. I don't think I've ever spent more than $25 for a full tank in this car, which is incredible. All in all, it's reliable, inexpensive to maintain, comfortable to drive, and incredibly user friendly.

The car has run extremely well. The only real repairs were mostly maintenance. (Such as a new battery or replacing worn out tires.) It has had a handful of recalls from Toyota. That were performed free of charge at a dealership. Those were like General maintenance, too. None of the recalls hindered me using the car until they were done. I feel blessed and love this car. That it has not cost me major repair bills to keep it running. Would look to Toyota for my next car!

I love my 2009 Toyota Yaris. I have a red hatchback. The back seat is spacious and it. Holds my three daughters and myself very well. The gas mileage is amazing, and with the gas prices skyrocketing, this car gives me relief of constantly filling up. The Yaris handles well on the road also. I commute from mountains to valley often and I couldn't ask for a more smooth drive. This car is exceptional for everyday commute.

The only two issues I have had with my car is when I bought it the trim was already peeling off and in my trunk as well. Sometimes the trim around the door gets removed. And for years I've had issues with the belt making a squeaky noise everytime I turn it on. But other than that everything runs smoothly! I love my Yaris and I refuse to switch it to a 'mom' car

This is a car for around town. Not the best vehicle for long trips or much highway driving. It is perfect for back and forth to work or to and from the grocery store. It is amazing on gas and is very reliable. If you want a vehicle that will get you from point a to point b for a long time, then this is definitely the vehicle for you.

I have had issues with tires more on this car than any other car, cannot figure out why I go through tires and hubcaps this fast. Also have issues with locks freezing during cold weather, and issues with my alternator and battery, have to jump my car a lot during the winter even though I drive my car once a week.

There is some electrical issues but other than that I love it. Additionally, there were a few recalls on some of the parts which was a little frustrating. Side note, it is great on gas, and nothing major has broken on it just typical wear and tear brakes, etc. All In all I would recommend this car to others.

This is a great little car! Turning radius is awesome and makes for easy parking, the gas-mileage is phenomenal, and it's surprisingly spacious given it's size. I've had my Yaris for 10 years and it's still going strong. It's a light-weight car so you have to be careful in the rain so as not to hydroplane.

Is a good vehicle to start. Eventually you would like to move on to another type of vehicle. Mainly if you are young and really into the details and features of different brands of vehicles. This specific car is hatchback 5 door, therefore is a good size that allows you to drive better if you are learning

Headlight casing problems. Lots of belt squealing. Is very good on gas mileage. Roughly 30 mpg. Drives good in rain and snow. Had hubcap issues. They have broke a lot. Had to buy replacements. Interior is very durable. Very roomy for being a compact vehicle. Lots of get up and go for being a 4 cylinder.

The fuel efficiency is good. However, there is very little horsepower. It is a rather reliable car, with very few issues. It is a bit small, but somewhat spacious for its size. My car is manual in every way, which I do not like, especially when it comes to the windows. The audio in the car is great.

What I like about my vehicle is how fuel efficient it is. This was a big win for me whenever shopping for a new car since I needed reliability for getting to school and work. The vehicle's size is also perfect for my personal driving preferences as well as having doing a good work in performance.

It is a great vehicle! I have had it for ten years and had very little mechanical issues. I love Toyota and would recommend this car to anyone. I regularly change the oil and it has been a great car that will last me even longer! I even took it on a road trip to California from Colorado.

It's too small for my liking. Could be a bit more spacious also feels like there's really no protection going on there. More like a coupe in my opinion. It's still an alright car. Gets the job done but also have been having issues with the ac. Toyota is still my #1 brand regardless.

I love my car! I think it is extremely reliable and I have not had any problems with it so far. I have owned this vehicle for almost three years. It has an automatic transmission. No power windows or fob but it does have a CD player. It has a hatchback that has tons of space.

It is easy to handle. It gets good gas mileage. I have had no issues with it so far. I feel comfortable in it and driving it as well. I would buy it again. I like the security lock key. My elderly mother feels comfortable in it and has no problem in getting and out of it.

It is very reliable it is gotten me around it is my first car and it small and compact but it is been used to be moved out of 3 apartments. The only problem that I have with this car and the year is the belt and breaks are always messed up. It is comfortable as well.

The car is honestly great the biggest problem is the paint. The clear coat on the paint is almost completely gone and the paint looks horrible and the car looks like it is ran down. The performance is fine. It runs great no major issues, it is a very dependable car.
