It may be a 4 cylinder, but the sports button is amazing.
Great on gas, but a little too small for comfort or travel. Drives smooth, and has a big trunk for storage..
accountCircle tom U
How dependable it is and how easy it is to driver
I like the dependability. I like the low cost. I love the technology too.

More room than you would think
Hard finding tires outside of dealership. Has to be ordered. I wish It had a center console but I have Managed without one. Other than this things, I really Enjoy driving this car. Great price, great features and has enough room for my family of five.
accountCircle Dayana Y
It is a small car and does not have much power.
My car is super thrifty and comfortable. The only thing that does not work well for me is the size, if you have a large family it is not the right car, but, even tho, I really love it. I have ridden long distances with him and he has never failed...

Great car for a great deal!
The car is amazing! It gets great gas mileage, and runs super well. I would recommend this to anyone!
accountCircle Ana T
It's a safe car. Its small but has all the features you need.
I like how small it is, I can park anywhere. I also like safe it is for example it won't let me read my text messages if I'm driving. The only thing I dislike is how small the space is between the passenger's seat and the driver.
accountCircle Alfa A
Gas free inspection every 6 months.
Its fast and for a small family cool for vacations fast cooling air conditioning good low payments for it also.
accountCircle Ray G
Great gas mileage, sleek design.
No armrests, smooth ride, great mileage, rear view cam, roomy trunk, I really like how smooth the driving is. I like the add port mode and cruise control. I like that I can link my phone and playlists to the radio, and can use my phone Charger. I like the power steering.

Negative Owner Reviews

Terrifyingly slow and utterly untrustworthy.
This is the most sluggish, tiny car I have ever owned. The acceleration is so slow I have had to reroute my trips in order to have enough time merge into fast moving traffic. Also, the car rattles at freeway speeds. This model is more like a toy than a Toyota.

Worst Lemon Ever!
At 6,000 miles this Flinstone’s car started to lose it’s brakes. The dealers denied it. Now at 23,000 miles the whole display, music, backup camera is malfunctioning and it’s scary. This fake car has no power. It’s awful!
accountCircle cindy c
Poor interior design. Poor placement of radio controls on divider, should have been an arm rest instead
Too small for family outings okay for single person
accountCircle Carolyn O
Blown tire, blown vacation.
Back seat has no leg room. Only one size tire fits this car and they are not readily available. This left me stranded when no one carried the odd sized tires, the spare donut, and 200 miles to go. This includes all the normal tire shops and dealership where the car was purchased car. Cable chains for that size tire are not readily available, nor have I found a manufacturer that does.
accountCircle Amanda W
It makes everyone car sick who’s riding in it.
It is to small, but great gas mileage. Makes me car sick even when I am driving. Does not handle well on snowy days.
accountCircle Alyson W
Small car: Great for saving gas but not comfortable.
I bought the vehicle to save on gas, but then I had a baby. The vehicle is much too small for myself, my husband and baby to all be comfortable. We have very little room. There is no middle console. The vehicle was not designed for comfort.
accountCircle Tori K
It is a Toyota and they are very reliable.
I dislike that it is small and very compact. I love that it has a back up camera and Bluetooth. I love how easy it is to drive. Just hard to load a lot of stuff in.
accountCircle Will T
Cramped but in very very good condition.
The car is fine, in general but the inside and the back is too small. It feels cramped. It runs perfectly. It can go on the freeway with a sports button and it has tied me over so far.

Great car for commuting.
Ive been leasing this car for almost 5 years. And it has been the best car Ive ever seen when it comes to gas mileage. Would not recommend as a family car as it is very small. Great for one person or a young couple dating or even 2 senior couples. Trunk is small but bigger than other compact hatchbacks like the Micra and Spark. Only had a couple problems with the car. The touch screen quality isn’t great, Ive driven RAV4s and Corollas and those ones have better touch screens so they obviously cheaped out on the yaris. Ive had to get it replaced once when it stopped working completely and the audio does sometimes glitch. My second complaint is Ive bought more tires for my Yaris than Ive ever had for my Honda Civic and my family had RAV4 and lots of Corollas and Camrys over the years and never had to change tires all the time. Fantastic for going to college, commuting to a job, and basic needs. But I am upgrading to a sedan or SUV as I miss the trunk space I had in my Civic.

Mileage is awesome. It has a lot of trunk space.
The only problem I have had with my Toyota Yaris it that I have had to get new tires three different times since buying the car. The car is very comfortable and has a really cool look about it with the front bumper that looks like a little sports car. The back seats fold down enough to get a chair or small table in and when the seats are down the trunk is exposed so things can be pushed through if needed. I really enjoy driving this car it can stop on a dime if needed and it additionally gets about 35 mpg on the highway. Driving around town I fill up just once a month. Best car around.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Gabriel F.

This Yaris car is small but I think is a perfect size for me. I also like the good gas mileage it has in the city and also on the highway even better. The rear camera is big and provide excellent view. Nice design too.

likeFilled Christina L.

Pros are that this vehicle is very efficient. It has a 10 gallon gas tank but it lasts a very long time. Also, it has Bluetooth and a very cool design. It is very light so it is fast. Cons is that there is no apple carplay on this model.

likeFilled Alexis K.

My car is easy to get around because it is so small. My car can fit into spaces that most cars may not be able to fit into. I also like how my car handles the highway and the minimum amount of road noise.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Gabriel F.

I would say one of the cons is the interior space in this car is kind of small for my preference. I also find it to be too low when I drive, I was used to drive a Nissan Rogue small SUV which you feel more in power.

dislikeFilled Christina L.

There is no apple carplay or android auto. And there is also no middle compartment for your things like in most cars. Instead there are 3 cup holders. The backseat is also a little smaller than the average sedan and there is only 1 handle above the front passenger's seat.

dislikeFilled Alexis K.

My car is only touch screen when the car is not moving, so that is basically useless. I also have been having trouble with my Bluetooth and the availability of when it works. Lastly, I find that dirt easily shows on my car.

No problems, so far. Only thing is if battery in keyless remote control goes out, you have to use other means to drive it. Just make sure you keep back up batteries so you do not get stuck somewhere... Read More

The 2017 Toyota Yaris IA is good value, because it is compact but has many features like GPS and backup camera but only cost $15,000 when paid for in full with cash.

Jayline S.
Too good, its unique original, easy to handle, inspiring, comfortable, very practical,I like this mark.
smith j.
It is worth around $7000 now but I owe $16000. It is not a great deal but it has low miles and I needed a newer car. It was my best option.
Stephanie H.
Do not know what it costs up front, we're making payments. It is a better cost compared to the other cars we've had. Gas mileage is awesome.
Michelle B.
I think mine was around 23-25,000 but I am not sure. I think it's okay value. I've had a different car that was about the same price and it was better quality than the Yaris
Isabel J.
It cost me 3,500. The blue book value is about 2,900. Which is a very good value for a vehicle of his age and its use.
