Fair review of my 2002 Volkswagen beetle.

2002 Volkswagen Beetle GL

I bought my 2002 beetle used from a nearby town. As far as I know, I am the third owner. I bought it with about 65,000 miles on it. I love this car, as it is the first car I have ever bought. However, being 15+ years old it has had to have some work done. After an inspection, it was clear the previous owners had never or very rarely changed the oil - so there was a lot of upkeep on that. The car pretty much drives fine, occasionally it has some trouble starting but after the third try it always goes. The horn has recently stopped working and the sunroof is giving me some trouble with leakage. I find these to be minor problems and I have not experienced larger-scale issues. I love that the car is small, making it much easier to park and merge lanes. It also has high visibility unlike some other cars I have driven. All in all, it has been a very reliable car for me and for the past 2 years I have been using it to commute about 2-3 hours 5 days/week.

My car is dark gray, very cute (it is a beetle) had leather seats, drives smooth.

2002 Volkswagen Beetle GL

My car is very cute, it has heat and air which my old car did not, and it is a smooth drive. There's really nothing I do not like about it other than the smell from the leather and the windshield wipers are not the best. Good gas mileage too. I would like it if I could play music from my phone in the car but it is an older model.

Unsure investment for the future.

2002 Volkswagen Beetle GL

It has a lot of power and it is reliable. Because of its shape and because it is diesel powered, it gets really good gas mileage, but it is getting out of shape. Not everything works anymore and it is difficult to find a mechanic here that can handle it.
