It is fast, small, and has pretty good gas mileage. I can fit almost anywhere. It is a cute car so I get a lot of compliments on it. I also enjoy having a convertible because on nice days it is always fun to have the top down while driving.
Pro is that it is very compact and handles well. It is also available to use for many things such as running errands and doing relaxing activities. The beetle is a very useful automobile for these purposes and so much more.
The top comes down, it has very nice heated seats and a very good stereo system. It also has easy access to putting the top up and down. This makes for an enjoyable easy ride. The top down is always an amazing experience.
The cons are it is hard to fix and expensive to fix. Luckily nothing has happened to my 2018 but I had a 2008 for a couple years and it was repair after repair on that car. Other than that I love my little car!
Con, is that since it is very compact it does not allow for much seating room other than maybe two to four passengers at a time. Factor in the possibility of wanting to take the occasional road trip and it does not lend itself to the idea of taking passengers plus room for snacks needed along the way.
There is not that much room, and if you have more than 2 people they have to climb into the back seat which is even more cramped. The back seat also does not get that much air flow, so it becomes very hot out there. The trunk is also difficult to open.
The 2018 Volkswagen Beetle has an average owner rating of 4.69 out of 5 which ranks it #5 of 31 other Small Cars.
