It stinks and it is hard to get around especially in traffic, and there is lots of traffic in LA
Hate the size of the car, especially in traffic because it's a manual transmission vehicle.

Never get another Volkswagen and try sticking to Asian models
Outdated, slow, gas hog and is now falling apart because many parts are made of plastic

1998 VW cabrio conv low mileage new convertible roof. Not for sale I drive most.
I bought my 1998 VW cabrio convertible September 2016 with the original 45, 500 miles on the vehicle. I replaced the catalytic converter, and I replaced the ac compressor since I bought the car. It now has 65, 000 miles and is not for sale.

Cute and easy to drive even for its age
I like how cute and small it is ; given its age, it is no longer quite so zippy in terms of engine performance and speed, but it is pretty reliable and durable, and rewarding with regular upkeep. The leather seats are sturdy and I love the seat warmer feature, though I do use a blanket in the back seat for my furry friends. The doors swing quite wide, so you need to be careful about your pace so you don't knock into the car next to you.
