I have enjoyed owning my VW EOS. It is very comfortable to ride in and very fun to drive. Most of my driving is on short errands around town. Surprisingly, I get good gas mileage in town. I love the stereo system. Good sound and it is satellite ready. I also enjoy the hands-free mode for my phone while driving. I like having the display in the center of the driver's seat so I can check mileage, etc., while driving and do not have to look away from the road. The headlights with fog lights give wonderful road illumination at night.

The hard top convertible is what drew me to this vehicle.
I love my hard top convertible EOS. I have had no problems with it. I enjoy the ride. Holds the road well. Convenience of automatic convertible top is great feature. Like the hard top. Not drafty in cold, snowy weather.

Remember to put the trunk compartment down if you are planning on putting the top down.
I love the hard top convertible roof. I don't like how hot the leather seats get in the summer. Sometimes the bluetooth connection stops working.

VW EOS Convertible is a dream!
Amazing car, certainly my favorite so far; and trust me, I've had a lot. I love that it is a hardtop convertible so I don't have to worry about someone; breaking in by cutting the top open. The only thing that I don't like about it do far is that there is a leak where the roof meets the passenger window. I'm sure that this is an easy fix, however I have more important things to take care of first. Everyone I know says that they can't picture me driving anything else now. When i was shopping for a new car, the only thing I was sure I wanted, was for it to be a convertible. I originally was looking at the beetle convertible but as soon as I saw the EOS, that was it! I really do love it kore everyday, especially in the warmer months when I can put the top down. Another bonus feature, is that it is a turbo. Meaning it needs synthetic oil and can go up to 10,000 miles without needing to have an oil change. The downside to the turbo however,is that it takes premium gas only. I haven't noticed much of a difference in the price so I am definitely not complaining. All around great car, unfortunately they stopped making them. I'm so lucky to have found the one I have.

Fun, sporty, one of a kind.
Sporty feel when driving; love the hard top convertible. This is the only convertible ever made that has a hard top & full working sunroof price was great for the amount of features. Very sad Volkswagen no longer makes the eos; I would have purchased another one.

It burns oil!! Faulty timing chain and airbag recall.
Burns oil. Timing chain issue. Airbag recall. Drives awesome, peppy and comfy and stylish. Sound system is decent. Not a lot of legroom for rear passengers.

A huge highlight of my car is the hard top convertible.
I love the look of the car but over time is has had problems. Mykey system broke and my car wouldn't start. It happened a few times and had to replace. My engine light and brake light are on but went to 3 places and nothing is wrong. They do not last decades only hold up a few years.

It is fun to drive, smooth and relaxing,
It's a convertible, it is fun to drive, it offers options like top up, down, moonroof. My engine died - that was a bit of a problem.

Fun hardtop convertible!
A hard top convertible at an affordable price. Fun to drive. Performs well on highway for long trips and local roads around town. No major problems. Maintenance required only once per year. Will be valuable as VW is not making this model any longer.

Volkswagen EOS is a luxury car at an affordable price.
No problems. Fun to drive. Affordable for a convertible. Comfortable and smooth ride. They no longer make this model do I hope I can keep this car forever. Not as many features as a newer car but the comfort and reliability makeup for that. Cannot wait for spring to open the hood.

Convertible top still works like it did when I bought it!
This car seemingly has an oil consumption problem. Oil needs to be added at a more than regular frequency. Mechanic told me to drive the car 'hard' because being a German automobile, it is designed to be driven for long and hard intervals. So while my commute to work is only 10 minutes, this recommendation was not being met. Because of the lack of miles being driven, there is while condensation at the end of the dipstick sometimes. This car clearly thrives in warmer temperatures. Convertible top still works great!

Expect a lot of mechanical problems.
I love the look and energy of the car. It's fun when the top is down and it's got a sporty attitude. Because of the top, the car is creaky and I have had a lot of mechanical issues for a car that is fairly young and has very few miles

Fun ride with lots of room.
This care is a sport car but has room for passengers and the trunk is very big. The back seat is large enough for adults to ride. It drive and rides great. It is a low maintenance car and gets great gas mileage. It is a fun car to drive with a lot of pickup with the turbo engine.

2012 EOS review- great, stylish car.
I have not experienced any problems with my car! My EOS is an amazing car. It has a great, smooth ride. It takes only seconds to put the top down and up. The sound system is great and easy to use. The sound is good throughout the car. Wish it had a rearview camera.

The convertible hardtop in the eos is unique because it also has a sunroof.
My eos is a small convertible but surprisingly safe and stable to be so small. It handles really well in inclement weather and yet is a luxury model with leather and many options for convenience. The eos is great on gas mileage but it does require premium gasoline only. However the tank is 12 gallons so it is a good trade off. I love this car and would buy it again and again.

It's a very fun vehicle to have. It's fun while it's cold to keep the top up but then when it's nice putting the top down. I love that it is a hard top so you don't have to worry about someone cutting the top to steal the car
Many things go wrong at once. Sensors go back and cost a lot of money to replace and it seems like when one goes bad and is replaced then the next one goes

Couples sports car. Top down days are fully enjoyed.
Sporty and fun. Perfect size for me. Love the heated seats. Getting in and out of back seat is difficult. Like the Bluetooth connection. Enjoyed the service warranty period. Trunk is somewhat small especially with top down. Trunk size works for me. Would not be recommended as a family car.

I love my EOS! I would buy more if they would make more!
I love this car. I am so sad they are not making new ones. I have not had any issues with it other than normal maintenance. The roof has worked great! I have had this car for 8 years and am very satisfied. I plan to keep this car as long as I can. I hope they make them again soon.

Great when the top is down.
Have not had any problems since I have bought my EOS performs really great wish they still made them though really fun car to drive. Love going on trips especially in the summer when we can put the top down and really enjoy the scenery and weather good gas mileage also.

My car is a hardtop convertible with a retractable sunroof. The car is a 2012 model. The car is a 4 seater with leather heated seats... It is a 4 cylinder 2.0 liter automatic transmission with a turbo charger. It is a heavy smooth road hugging ride.
