Drives really well. Good acceleration and braking. Very reliable and comfortable to drive. Great resale value. I do not like the feature where the car has to be unlocked in order to fill up with gas. Car locks by itself automatically within a few seconds. This is not always a great feature and can be annoying at times. Air conditioning takes a while too cool. Connects with phone Bluetooth which is nice. There’s no cruise control option which I wish it had.

2011 Volkswagen golf tdi review.
Been very reliable. The only big problem I had was with a front wheel bearing going bad. Fuel mileage went down some after the adjustments they made from the scandal that happened. But still gets pretty good fuel mileage. Overall very happy with the vehicle even after almost 10 years.

Good gas mileage and reliable.
The back tire guards are very loose always have to be tightened. Bulbs generally do not last a very long time. Sometimes problems with the computer dash signs.

VW are the prime choice of vehicle for anybody.
This is a quick little car. It can be expensive to repair which is a downside. My car has held through some tough times and managed through dead batteries, low oil, low gas, and other factors. It does have a turbo so it has some good get up and go. I can kick it over into s speed and get a little more go with it. I love hatchback style cars. I prefer a gti 6 speed, but I really do love my golf. It is comfortable to sit in if you are stuck in a car for hours on end. The ac works amazing, power windows, bt connectivity and so forth.

Fun to drive small car that gets great mpg.
Great car, is quiet and very stable even at high speeds. The car has been reliable so far, have only had it one year. The mpg is really good in the summertime, usually in the mid 40's. Plenty of power as well while cornering. The seats are comfortable and well-bolstered.

For a 2011 car, it is great. I don't really have complaints.
Slow acceleration, loud sounds, tail light falls out. It is a hatchback though so it is really handy for fitting lots of big items and moving. I also like that the car is small, can go in and out of lanes and for in right parking spots without any trouble. Highly recommend!

It's fun to drive and has more storage space than it seems like it would have from the outside.
I love that it's small, pretty zippy, has a good turning radius, and has pretty good gas mileage.

Volkswagen voodoo... Volkswagen golf tdi diesel.
I do like my car. It would help if the car was us made though, it is very expensive when something goes wrong. Also, it is almost all electrical problems, when there is a problem... I recently hit a deer and it pushed the front in and it made my fan hit a cluster of wires and it was giving me all kind of dashboard light errors. I took it to Volkswagen to see what the problem was and instead of them wrapping the wires and pulling them away from fan, they didn't even mention the simple solution, just tried to charge me $3500 to fix it. So, when I got home, I looked it over and fixed it in 5 min.

My 2011 VW golf is my very first vehicle I have ever purchased, and I love it so much. I learned how to drive manual in it. Before buying it I had three criteria for my first car: good power, good speakers, good gas mileage. This car hits every point! The build is sturdy and comfortable, and I always feel secure while driving.

Small scratches nothing else, is working perfect, nice condition.Engine 1.6 l tdi, black color, very clean inside. The engine is in perfect condition. You can tune the card easy, upgrade the horsepower from 105 hp to 200 hp. As I said small scratches but is a easy fix.

The 2011 golf is reliable, comfortable and has lots of room.
The car is amazing, it is small compared to most vehicles but can still hold 5 people and there’s so much room in the trunk. The car is very reliable, I have had the car for about 4 years now and it is never let me down. I get amazing gas mileage. The radio had Bluetooth and I can call and listen to music through my radio.

2011 Volkswagen golf tdi. Solid car.
My current car is a 2011 Volkswagen golf tdi. The car is recently purchased. The car's overall performance is top notch quality. It's exactly what you'd expect from Volkswagen. This is the third one I have owned. Their track record always amazes me. The car gets amazing mpg, it has more than enough power. Lower horsepower but higher torque, so the car picks up and moves. It handles like a champ as well, it doesn't even matter that the car is a front wheel drive. This car handles as well as some all wheel drive car's I have driven before. All in all I give the Volkswagen golf tdi a 5/5 rating. I will be purchasing another one soon to keep as a daily commuter.

I enjoy that the car has a sports mode and takes diesel rather than gas.
Lights on my dashboard come on too often. At times I cannot figure out why even after taking my car to a shop to get looked at. Also, my car stalls at times as well. To fix this stalling, I open my hood and wiggle a wire and low and behold, the car starts up again perfectly fine.

Handling and ride quality.
My ecu unit died today. 57000 mile on my car and it dies. Hopefully it is covered by my warranty. Other then this the car handle's and drives great. I need to fill this with words so the other thing I can about the car is there are problems with these cars. Read up and look at the problems. They are well documented. Only but this car if you look at the known problems.

Fuel economy. I can go a week or two before having to top off the tank.
Excellent fuel mileage after some performance tweaks. Great commuter car for long drives to and from work. Can fit 5 people comfortably for longer rides or commuting somewhere with friends. Heated seats are a nice feature for this vehicle along with a touchscreen dash and Sirius radio option.

VW golf tdi: a great little hatch.
I have had my Volkswagen golf tdi for about a year and a half at this point. So far the only problem I have had is that one of my tpms went out and I have a low pressure tire warning light on my dash. Other than that, the car has been very reliable. For being a compact hatchback, I find the car to be very spacious and comfortable, even for passengers in the back. I will admit that the performance is a bit lackluster, but the fuel economy is great. I primarily bought the vehicle to be a comfortable commuter car to-and-from work, and it has been great for that purpose. My car has most of the options besides heated seats including premium audio and hid lights. Once experiencing hid lights in a car, I found it very difficult to go back to dull fluorescent headlights.

I love how smooth the ride is, how gas efficient it is, and the sleek look of the car. The radio and Bluetooth connection is wonderful. I do not like how costly parts can be but overall this is an extremely reliable and affordable car.

2011 Volkswagen golf, my new favorite!
I am not sure if it is just my car but there seems to be suspension issues with it being a 2 door car. Minor bumps also appear rather easily due to the way the body is put together, edges are not as stable as other brands. In addition Volkswagen engineering is quite different when compared to other car makes which results in very different mechanical fixes and maintenance.

The perfect car; for about 8 years.
I love my golf! It has a magical ability to hold so much stuff, which is very convenient for road trips, moving, and large shopping trips. It is zippy and fun to drive, and it fits in tight spots. It is been very reliable over the years. There are some problems with the car that will unfortunately make me get rid of it soon. The windshield and windows tend to fog and the defrost feature does not work well. I have actually had to pull over because I couldn't see through the condensation well enough to drive. The headliner is falling down. The ac is very loud. The Bluetooth is not great and the talk feature has terrible voice recognition.

Volkswagen golf- compact and durable.
The driver's side door has a weird squeak common with many Volkswagens as they get older. The mileage is fair, especially since I commute. Have not had any engine problems, but the control arm is rusted and that can be an expensive fix. Overall, good performance, but not that wastes care, 2.5 inline 5 engine.

I love my Volkswagen golf because it is very comfortable and it has the perfect size for my need. I spent little money on gasoline and that is very helpful for me. Also, the speakers of my car are awesome, every song sound perfectly in my car. I always prefer Volkswagen.

Great car for a family of 2 with a dog.
A bit too cramped and small. Hard to keep seats clean. Great gas mileage. Quick for a small engine. Bluetooth is troublesome. Nice speakers though. The required maintenance can get expensive. I have not had any mechanical issues. Good for a family of 2 but too small if you have kids.

Fun and affordable car for your daily driver.
I have had no problems. It has been a very reliable car and gets very good gas mileage. It is very fun to drive on mountain roads. Maintenance has been very easy and affordable. I used to own a VW rabbit that was just a few years older, and felt that it had a better interior trim package than my newer golf. That is my only complaint. I miss the heated seats and center console!

Great Volkswagen car, never would give it up.
It is a great car, beautiful and drives well. The four door feature is great, as are all of the in-car features. I have had no maintenance issues and taken this car on several long road trips. Brakes, speakers, tires, lights all work amazingly! Never want to give this car up.

I love the stiff steering. The gas mileage is great. I get over 400 miles per tank. Low maintenance. Don't have to do oil changes often. Handles well. Small and cute. The hatch is probably one of my favorite things on this small vehicle. It drives smooth

Four door Volkswagen golf is cute and comfortable.
The car is very reliable and comfortable. The only problems I have ever had are with the tires which could be because of outstanding reasons. The car has radio, aux connection, and Bluetooth. It is small and compact but still has enough room for people and storage. The car is cute too.
