2012 Volkswagen Golf Overview, Reviews, Ratings & Specs

The car I drive has heated seats, Bluetooth connection, SiriusXM radio, 6 disc-CD player, a moonroof/sunroof, a hatchback, it has a/c and heated mirrors that have blinkers on them. You can direct the a/c into the glove box for keeping your drinks cold.

It looks sporty and cool. It accelerates very well. It handles very well- it is responsive and corners tightly. It is small and easy to park. It is solid and made from excellent parts. It is affordable, with a similar engine to a much more expensive Audi.

Is a compact and it fits my needs for going to and from work. It is an unequal good color and takes me where I need to go. It is somewhat reliable. The mile per gallon is okay but it could be better than it is.

The worst part of the 2012 Volkswagen golf that I own is that it was in 2 accidents back to back, and I think it is because the car is so small that people in bigger vehicles cannot see me that well. My car is a darker color and I was stopped in both accidents, and hit by another driver.

It is expensive to maintain and fix compared to my previous car, a Honda Civic. It has airbags that were recalled. It does not get the best gas mileage for a small car, but that is to be expected since the engine is quite powerful.

The lining is already peeling off. It has had several recalls. The air conditioner compressor is gone and the vehicle does not have 45,000 miles. Is needs a new cv axle. The car didn't come with rear view camera and should have been standard. The seat should come higher short people like me struggle a bit.
