You have to make sure to only use synthetic oil when doing an oil change.
Very dependable vehicle. The only serious problems that I have ever experienced with my GTI are problems that I caused (dings and scrapes). I love my leather interior and roomy backseat. My speakers have always been a little on the low end side though (stock)

It's fun to drive and handles well. If you enjoy driving, would be a good choice.
Fun to drive. Peppy little car. Handles well. Fuel mileage could be better and repairs can be pricey.
