Love it. Fun to drive and fast.
It really is a great car. Super fun to drive. Great gas mileage. I have taken it on long road trips and have had no problems. For being as small as it is, it is pretty spacious inside. Drives smoothly. If you are considering this vehicle, I say go for it.

Big performance in a little body.
The driving experience is like no other vehicle I have had. The dual-clutch provides a quickness and reliability for safe driving. The hatchback layout provides comfort and plenty of space for hauling kids, groceries, sporting equipment, lumber, and more.

Volkswagens are amazing automobiles.
I have never had any problems with my car. I have it tuned so it is faster than stock. I do all my own maintenance including oil changes. The car died come with free oil changes. I love the all leather interior. Really helps with keeping it clean since I have a 3 year old daughter.

I will always have a Volkswagen gti.
The sensors are super touchy, any DIY projects must remapped in computer software. The water pump was recalled in 2015 but was replaced under warranty. The drive is fun, fast and comfortable. The car has bucket seats for the front passengers. The steering wheel has an unique shape that the drive will love.

Classic profiling that really said 'volkswagen'.
Not a huge fan of the choice of tire that came stock on the car itself, but that is remedied once you go through at least 2 of them and start replacing them with another low profile tire. Has some electrical gremlins typical of VWs, but it has been reliable nonetheless.

Honest review of the 2014 volkswagen gti
I have a 2014 volkswagen gti. I love how it performs all year around. It is front wheel drive so it is even good in the winters. Since it is front wheel drive and has power sometimes the tires chirp when you step on it. I really enjoy the suspension of the vehicle. The only couple things i don't like is how d***y the back of the car gets when it rains and how much it cost for parts and service.

Great control and handling.
Has good control and excellent speed and acceleration, the tsi 2.0t turbocharged engine is a good fit the car. However it needs a little more weight so the tires do not spin out in the event you need to for some reason to go 0-60. Transmission gets a little sus after 90k miles however works still.

Great car with high reliability, added a few features and made it perfect.
The only complaint I may have about my car is that it is very small and it did not come with certain features. However, I fixed up the system which added a back-up camera and better sound, which made it absolutely perfect to me. It does not give me problems, it is very reliable. I also love the interior look and overall style of the car.

Easy and fun but expensive.
Really fun to drive. It is not my first manual transmission vehicle at all. That being said the gears transition so smoothly, the clutch is light as a feather, and the gear shifting is so easy. The only problem is maintenance, even routine, can be pretty expensive.

Gti is great in town and low gas cost car.
My vehicle is very reliable and I have not had any issues with it. I keep up with maintenance. It is very comfortable and good on gas mileage. The only thing I dislike is space inside the car- it is definitely a in town car or a highway car that gets low mileage!

Great pick up and acceleration in a comfortable compact.
I love the ride all together. Quick acceleration, smooth ride, and comfortable interior. It feels much roomier than the previous 2 door models of the gti. The only issues I have had with the car are minor electrical issues. Several busted sensors, a hiss coming from the blower, wiring on a tail light going on and off, etc. These minor issues keep me from saying it is a 5 out of 5 car.

Best hot hatch on the road today.
I love the handling and the style of my vehicle. The horsepower is incredible and the mileage cannot be beat. There is something to say for German engineering as this is my first VW. I am already considering the same vehicle when I look to purchase a newer car. Oil changes will cost a bit more, but upkeep on the car is worth the money.

It is a great car! Love it!
It is very comfortable, with leather seats. It also has an amazing fender sound system, with awesome bass and subwoofer. The sport mode is amazing and fun for driving fast and turning corners hard. I really like the red trim and lights the car has inside when it is dark out. I also like the shape of the headlights, because it is different from other cars. It is a nicely sized vehicle - a little tight for road trips - but good nonetheless.

Modern hot hatch - perfect mix of fun and safety.
I have only owned my gti for 2 months. But I have had one problem with it. The EPC light came on right after bought the car. Because of this, it took almost 3 weeks to find and fix the issue. However once fixed the car runs like a dream. Fun to drive, eye catching and comfortable, the perfect mix.

It goes fast which is why i bought it. It is also a great family car and offers a lot of space when needed
Well i have blown turbo, needed a water pump and have had to get a new radiator too, the tires are awesome but a terror to replace

After 2014 this vehicle is no longer made in Germany.
I have to get my vehicle realigned every three months. If I don't I have to buy new tires every three months. Frequent tire rotations are a must to keep this issue a minimum.

Quick reliable hatchback!
The car is amazing. Other than normal maintenance (oil change, tires) the car has been worry free. It is drives great and I added an aftermarket tune to give it some more horsepower. With that said, it does not need it as it is already a quick car bone stock.

Second hand Volkswagen with few mileage didn't have a good performance
We purchased it second hand but very few mileage and still covered by warranty. It's two years now but before this time like 6 months ago the car didn't start. We sent it to have it checked and repaired but till now it's not done not working good. A warranty problem is one and knowing it's not an old car, we were expecting a good performance but we failed.

I love my Volkswagen gti mk7.
Super great and fast vehicle. Really reliable. Hasn't given me any issues at all. Love the way the car picks up when you punch the gas. Have a few tasteful mods done to it. Couldn't be any happier. Enjoy all the features it has like sport mode and seat heaters.

It's amazing for any petrol-head and car enthusiast and and great starter car
I love how quick and easy to maneuver it in tight cities. It's cheap and has good mileage. I don't some of the materials used in the interior. It is starting to show its age compared to newer cars' tech.
