If you do not want to spend thousands of dollars in car repairs, buy this car!

2009 Volkswagen Jetta S Sedan

I previously bought an older year (2000) of a Volkswagen Jetta and got into a bad wreck that involved a three car pile up. The car behind me had it is front end smashed in, my car had a minor dented bumper, and the car in front of me was totaled! That is when I realized that a Volkswagen is the most reliable, safest car choice to go with! I later upgraded to a 2009 and it was the best car decision I have made so far. The car in general feels like you are getting a luxury car for a fraction of the price and it is electric windows and heated seats were a major upgrade from my older model. The interior seats are nice and comfortable. The back seat is spacious enough to fit two big boys and a bulky car seat nicely. The trunk is huge! I cannot tell you how many times I was able to fit pieces of furniture or boxes when moving in the trunk with no problems. The only bad thing about this model is the antenna is way too long. Sometimes it is a pain to take it off and put it back on again after a car wash. I do wish it was a short small one or an electric retractable antenna, but if that is my only complaint, I'll take it! I have had this car for ten years and with regular oil changes, it is still going strong! I love my Volkswagen Jetta and hope to upgrade again in the near future! I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable, possibly life saving car for you and your loved ones at an affordable price.

I've had this car for 5 years and the only issue I have is that the sunroof opens randomly on its own. This car has great get up and go and I only have to fill up my car once a week. I drive 30 mins to work one way but my gas tank doesn't show it. The price for maintenance is more expensive than my previous car but it's worth it

Ten amazing years: this vehicle gets you the most bang for your buck.

2009 Volkswagen Jetta S Sedan

Its 10 years old and it's starting to have engine troubles. I think my transmission is starting to go, I have trouble when my car goes to shift gears. It is an automatic, but it seems as though when I start to get above 40 mph it has issues. Its ten years old though and still kicking.
