2014 Volkswagen Jetta Review: Upscale Car Offering Good Value & Dependability

Alex Showalter
Oct 11, 2022

The 2014 Volkswagen Jetta lasts around 250,000 miles with only minor engine sensor and door latch issues. At $7,600 to $13,575, it’s a bargain for an entry-level German car with a nice interior.

There’s plenty of room in the cabin, steering is responsive and the stereo system is very easy to use.
dislikeFilled The Bad
Maintenance costs are higher than average, suspension is firm and diesel efficiency was exaggerated by Volkswagen.

Is the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta a Good Used Car?

  • Overall Rating 7/10 – 2014 is a decent year for the VW Jetta, earning an average overall rating compared to other compact cars since it’s missing some of the latest technology. Owner reviews praise the reliable engines, spacious cabin, and excellent efficiency.
  • Interior, Comfort & Cargo 8/10 – Interior materials are nicer than other compact cars, the seats are extremely comfortable, cargo space is also better than average.
  • Reliability 7/10 – There are not any serious widespread problems on the 2014 Jetta. We recommend avoiding models from 20092011 which have engine issues. Models from 20122018 are more reliable.
  • Performance 7/10 – Performance is poor from the base 4-cylinder while the turbocharged version has decent power for the size of the car.
  • Safety 7/10 – The Jetta is a safe compact car, earning a perfect 5-star rating across the board in government crash tests. Safety technology is weak, though, only offering an optional rearview camera.
  • Gas Mileage 9/10 – Fuel economy is great at up to 34 MPG giving 493 miles of range from the 14.5 gallon tank. Gas costs are $33 cheaper than average, at $173 per month.
  • Value 8/10 – The 2014 VW Jetta is a great value since they are cheaper than other compact cars, although owners should be prepared for higher annual costs.

Most spacious interior and trunk!
The Jetta is one of the best cars on the market. The interior space is amazing for taller people, it feels much roomier than it looks. The trunk space is so much larger than any other car of this size. The gas mileage is great! This is the perfect commuter car.

Gas mileage is great 40 miles per gallon
Reliable good gas mileage, very comfortable and spacious great for going anywhere. Medium sized car with lots of space in the trunk also. Good on highway, city, and just going around town. Good car for traveling also good family car as well. Good for all sizes

Stylish, Modern, Reliable Volkswagen Jetta
The Volkswagen Jetta is an excellent economy car to own. As a driver of teenagers I am constantly picking up and dropping off. Jetta's are reliable and roomy. They are also affordable and modern. I would definitely buy another Volkswagen in the future when I have driving teenagers.

2014 VW Jetta. Looks new!
Light tan interior. 5 speed. Manual. Very reliable. Great gas mileage. 60k miles. Heated seats. No rust. Bluetooth. Sos which is similar to OnStar. Has some get up to it. Roomy trunk. Leather. Cup holders. All airbags work. Never been involved in an accident.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta tdi premium/nav review.
This is the 4th Jetta I have bought. Always reliable. I have never had issues with any of the 4. This is my first tdi. The gas mileage is phenomenal, I get more than any car I have owned prior. Maintenance on this vehicle is very cost efficient. All the extra features are things I never knew I needed. Sunroof/moonroof gives the car a more sportier feel and keeps me cool when windows are up and ac is off.

It moves smooth and is the best car I had yet.
The Volkswagen Jetta really didn't give me any problems. The performance of the car is amazing I love it.

Amazing, safe, and fast car. Interior looks very clean.
Very comfortable. Drives very smooth. Easy to maintain. A lot of room in the car. Safe on the road. Stereo works great, l live how much room it has in the two front seats. Tires are great on the road and also on the dirt road. Very nice interiors. Outside looks great with the trimming.

Great car needs some improvements
Car great on gas mileage and drives like a dream.the engine is strong great horsepower and have great pick up speed. The braking system is good could be better. Front seats need more padding for long drives because they cause your back and legs to hurt after a long drive over a hundred of miles.

I love it. It is reliable. The gas miles are great!.
I dislike that there is no cruise control, I think cruise control is a must have in every vehicle. Tinted windows would be ideal, there for it protects you a little bit from the sun rays. I love having leather seats, because there is no stain. Easier to remove spills and less time spending to clean or remove stain.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta review and problems.
The car is poorly constructed and under powered. There were several times where the check engine light will come on and then go off for no apparent reason. The interior is cheap and it is construction and look. The front and slips excessively in the snow and handling is poor.

This vehicle is lower priced more part of all vehicles off the car lot.
The car is perfect and saves on gas for myself with a child who plays sports it is too small it is expensive for maintenance and it is expensive to mechanically fix. The car has been an excellent car for freeway miles. The car is also a big gas saver. Car does not do well in high elevation tends to slow down the uphill.

You will not like our car because it is too old and has been used before.
Well the reason I hate my husband and I car is because we haven't even had it that long and yet we already have so many problems with it. Plus it is a used car so I guess that's why expected. The car was used by someone before us. But we got the used car to save us some money.
accountCircle Amanda A
It's sucked since I purchased it. I've had to put in a new engine at 58k miles with regular oil changes due to vw putting on too large of a turbo for the engine causing it to constantly leak oil.
I have had so many problems with my 2014 Jetta ever since I purchased it. I've replaced the engine due to leaking oil because of the turbo being too large to properly fit the engine. I've replaced headlights almost every three months due to faulty wiring. It has cost me way more than it's been worth and it's only a 2014. Very very disappointed with vw.
accountCircle Jenna B
Not thrilled on the purchase but it's getting old
The seats are uncomfortable. I don't like the center console armrest. It's very low to the ground. The turning radius is poor. It doesn't accelerate well. It gets good gas mileage. The trunk has a lot of space. Random blind spots. My automatic window has broke.
accountCircle Daniel S
Many problems are ahead of this car.
I have had many problems with the vehicle. The maintenance has become a pain to go through every few months. The car power is also not super good. For the price I am sure I would rather have a different vehicle if I knew all the problems that would arise. It definitely works and it is somewhat reliable.
accountCircle Ayman A
The perfect car for those who love challenges and are car savvy.
The first couple of years of owning the car was really good. I did normal and on-time maintenance as usual. 3 years later that is when the problems happened(around 75,000). First it was electrical issue with the car. Later turned into a coolant issue that I just couldn't fix which then affected my ac and heating for the cabin of the car. I went the entire winter without heat and it was terrible. I decided the car trouble was not worth owning the car and sold the car to a dealership. I would say, overall, the car ride quality was average. That car had so many problems that I do not remember the last time the car was driving in good efficiently. I would say only get this car if you are car savvy and know how to work well with cars. If cars are not your forte then please stay away from it, unless you have money to fix the issues that will arise.

What Do Critics Say About the VW Jetta?

  • Consumer Reports says the Jetta drives like a proper European car with average owner satisfaction scores.
  • Edmunds rates the Jetta at 3.8/5 praising the spacious interior, but doesn’t like the weak base engine.
  • Kelley Blue Book users give the Jetta a 4.4/5 enjoying the extremely efficient engines, but owners don’t like the lack of technology.

What Common Problems Does the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Have?

Common problems found on the 2014 VW Jetta include the engine stalling while driving, broken door latches, and damaged dashboards. Overall, these problems are relatively minor compared to other compact cars from 2014, however, repair costs are higher than average since the parts are expensive.

The engine stalling while driving is a common complaint reported by owners at around 42,000 miles. Usually when the engine stalls it’s a sign of a failed crankshaft position sensor. Changing out the sensor is a fairly easy process for a mechanic, costing around $375.

A broken door latch is another issue mentioned by owners in the first 50,000 miles. The linkage between the handle and latch has plastic parts in it which break as they get older. Changing out the door latch costs around $150, depending on local labor rates.

Damaged dashboards also show up on some VW Jetta models in the first 20,000 miles. The plastic clips which hold the dashboard in place become brittle over time, which can cause them to break. If they break you will need to replace the clips, costing around $50.

There are 5 recalls on the 2014 Jetta, which are similar to other compact cars. The most serious recall covers fuel leaking into the engine compartment. Volkswagen will replace the fuel rails on affected vehicles for free. Other recalls cover the air bags, along with the key, which are less dangerous.

How Long Will the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Last?

A well-maintained 2014 Volkswagen Jetta should last around 250,000 miles, which is only slightly shorter than the highly-rated Toyota Corolla. Regular annual maintenance costs are higher than average, according to data provided by Repair Pal, at $609 per year.

Since nearly all 2014 VW Jetta models have over 100,000 miles buyers should be prepared to replace the fuel injectors for $500, the EGR valve costing $250, and the brake vacuum pump which costs $900.

accountCircle Abby S

So far it has been reliable. Having routine maintenance done help. Buying any car as a used vehicle can be trying, but it has no issues so far.

accountCircle Jennifer N

I bought my sedan used at the end of July. I have had to replace the battery, but other than that I have had no issues.

accountCircle Ashley N

It is reliable, but I have had some issues with the radio system, it shuts off very frequently. Also there was an issue with the tire pressure signal on the dashboard that would not go away no matter if the tires were properly filled. There was also just a recall on a part on the car that I need to get figured out.

accountCircle Amy K

I recently started to have problems with it misfiring and has stalled a couple of times. It is still reliable.

accountCircle collin S

Some problems just little ones like sticking door handles and a few small signal errors here and there.

accountCircle Ellen K

It is very reliable. The worst thing about it is the hubcaps came of only months after we purchased from CarMax.

accountCircle Kristin F

It is reliable. It is front wheel drive so it is reliable in the snow. There was a problem with the steer lock and cylinder that had to get replaced which was expensive. It caused the car to not be able to turn off.

accountCircle Nyla S

Yes it is very reliable has anything anyone can ask for no it does not have any problems it ride smooth.

How Is the Technology?

Entertainment technology is basic in the 2014 VW Jetta with a simple stereo system. There’s an available touchscreen stereo system made by Fender. Safety technology is also below average with an optional rearview camera.

Is the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta a Good Value?

Yes, the 2014 VW Jetta is a good value for an entry-level German car. Blue book prices range from $7,825 to $13,800, making it cheaper than a Honda Civic or Mazda3. When new, the price range was $15,695 to $26,795. Depreciation is slightly worse than average, losing about 12% of its current value per year.

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The sixth generation of the Volkswagen Jetta was introduced in 2011 and replaced by the seventh generation in 2019.

2012: Minor stereo updates, sport package on the SEL model discontinued.

2013: Standard disc brakes on all models.

2014: New 1.8L turbocharged engine replaces the 5-cylinder, optional rearview camera added.

2015: Minor front & rear styling changes, higher quality interior materials used.

2016: Base 4-cylinder engine removed, standard touchscreen stereo system added.

2017: Standard rearview camera on all models, USB added as well.

2018: New wheels added as well as a chrome grille.

2019: Fully redesigned for the seventh generation with all-new engines & styling.

How Does the VW Jetta Compare to the Competition?

The Volkswagen Jetta is better than a lot of entry-level compact cars. It offers a nice interior as well as efficient engines which helps it earn our recommendation for shoppers looking for a more luxurious small car.

The Toyota Corolla is a competitor, which is nearly $4,500 more. Technology is a bit better in the Toyota Corolla, while the interior is nicer in the VW Jetta. We recommend the Toyota Corolla since it has lower ownership costs long-term, however, both are great small cars.

The Honda Civic is another compact car which costs about $2,000 more. Performance is better in the Honda Civic with stronger engines, while there’s more room for passengers in the VW Jetta. We recommend the Honda Civic for most buyers since parts are cheaper if something breaks.

Owner for 8 years
I bought my 2014 VW Jetta SE in 2016 as a college student because of the safety ratings. I have now had this car for over 60k miles and 8 years. It was my first car. Pros: - Great gas mileage. I can go 400 miles on one tank typically - I did not have to change the battery it came with until last year. It had the same battery since 2014. - Drives well and is good in a couple of inches of snow - The car's computer tells you if there's an issue so you won't have to guess - The speakers are quite decent for sound quality. - I love the heated seats. The cons are mostly inconveniences rather than major issues. Cons - the Bluetooth for the vehicle sometimes malfunctions and does a high-pitch until you restart the car. - Maintenance is a bit compared to Toyota or Honda, I usually put $500 a year into the warranty required maintenance. - Misfired once but the mechanics checked and reset it and it was fine. - The dashboard is plastic which is a cheap choice considering the seats are leather. - Headlights are a little harder to replace by yourself but it's possible. - Didn't come with tinted windows. Overall I am glad I have this car. It's going on 91k miles and runs as good as the day I got it. I am hoping it will run at least another 100k miles. It's reliable and in the coming years, I will definitely be buying another VW.

I enjoy the space my car has even though is not a big size.
Had a check engine light at 40k miles but its a ok car for being cheap. I think this care can be a good deal. It's a very basic care I have used it to go on long trips and it work fine. The radio screen is not working and I only have 50k miles. It saves you some gas but I believe there are better cars that would save you more gas.

No rearview camera. Nice leather interior. Gets kind of hot. Nice wheels but may get new rims to be honest. Drives very well and is super fuel efficient. Best car I have had so far. Used it all through college. Good speakers. Cool seatbelts. Good acceleration.

Great vehicle with astonishing reliability and features.
Hi, the Volkswagen Jetta has been a great overall car so far but there have been a few things that have gone wrong over the year I have had it. My tire randomly burst on the highway without a warning (the tire that came with the car). Tires were not noticeably low before leaving that day. I also had an oil light that stayed on even after I got my oil changed. My check engine light continuously go on and off every week. The gas mileage is pretty good, but diesel is a lot more expensive. Otherwise, my car has always been reliable and taken me where I need to go. I never have issues with how the car drives. The sunroof, backup cam, and comfortable features of the car plus the reliability of the car makes the car worth it.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta. A good car for a beginner driver.
It is an ok car. All the parts on it are very expensive. It is started making a clicking noises I took it to 3 mechanic and no one knows where it is coming from. A lot of people hate working on it because it is a tight fit. The inside of the car is nice the seats have held up very well there is no rips or tears in the side.

Why the 2014 Jetta is the perfect first car!
I love my Jetta! It is great on miles (25 mpg in the city). All it takes is about $26 to fill the tank can you get about 419 miles! The sound quality from the speakers are good as well. The Bluetooth is good. I like how well it drives in the snow as well! All it really needs is 4 wheel drive!

Volkswagen Jetta simplicity.
No problems. Great mileage. The car feels much more substantial than it looks. It handles like a car much larger. The interior is quiet compared to other vehicles of it is class. I didn't get a lot of amenities with this vehicle, as those things are unimportant to me. If the radio works, it gets good mileage, and it is comfortable to drive, then I am happy.

Adventures with a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta se.
Known problems I have are the engine, antifreeze leaks. For me the car is very comfortable to drive in, I am short and the car is compact and perfect for my size. The car is very sturdy. I have gotten rear ended in this vehicle with pretty little damage, the car held up well. The locks and windows are automatic the stereo works great has an aux port, USB port, and ports to charge your electronics. It's a great little car, I just wish mine didn't have so many pricey mechanical issues.

This is the second time I've had to fix my water pump on my Jetta.
I absolutely love my vehicle it runs good the only thing wrong with it is my water pump has already gone out two times and in order to replace it you need to remove the whole front end off. Other than that my car runs great it has turbo on it so it's nice because it takes off at the light. Its roomy inside and I have leather seats with seat warmers. My ac doesn't work but that's only because the fans are broken.

I would buy another one. Good gas mileage - about 43 mpg or so great acceleration - easy to drive body frame and paint holding up well (keep it waxed and clean) interior holding up well - headliner starting to come apart though engine holding up well - except for diesel gate issue -- synthetic oil changes every 5k miles 164,000 miles -- plan on reaching 350k keep maintained.

Issues of engine but visually appealing.
Engine problems, transmission problems, and I usually have to get it serviced more often than other vehicles I own. Wear and tear on the car does not hold up to the other vehicles I own that are a lot older. It is harder to get the parts to this vehicle for a decent price unless it is outsourced.

Car that still has great technological features, fantastic gas mileage and space.
For the year and price I got it for it is really luxurious feeling with touch screen leather heated seats. It is super comfortable for consumer car. I love the gas mileage with the diesel engine. And the space I have is really great. I love my car for the price I got it and the year. It could have easily resembled an outdated case. But it still competes technology and feature wise with current cars which makes me feel like I am going to have my car for a really long time.

It is sporty. It handles well in just about any road conditions. Gets good gas mileage, even in town. Maintenance can get a little expensive but I guess that is to be expected with a German vehicle. Although it is a 2014, I would have liked to have had a plug in the backseat area for phone chargers, etc.

So far I have encountered zero problems with this car. I love everything about it. The seats are comfortable and attractive, they heat up and the dashboard is easy to operate. Pros, cons, and detailed explanation of each for the vw jetta tdi diesel.
My vehicle is comfortable, it handles really well, and has a turbo engine which works great. It is a diesel so it gets great gas mileage, however fuel does tend to be more expensive than any type of gasoline. (unleaded, premium, etc.). As a result of it being a diesel the price of oil as well as the oil change service tends to cost more also. The vehicle has a diesel fuel particulate filter which filters out the sulfur which naturally comes in diesel fuel. There is no way to clean this part out. If the filter gets too full of soot the only ways to clear it out are to go on long drives in order for the engine to burn it off or to spend $6,000 to replace the entire filtering mechanism (the dpf). Frequently taking the car on long drives naturally keeps the dpf clean. The sun/moon roof will get jammed closed if not opened or closed in a very particular button pushing order. The headlights must be turned on manually and are not sensitive to the natural darkness or lightness. Our left headlight goes out way more frequently than our right headlight. Finally, the car has a backup camera.

Very dependable car, great gas mileage.
I purchased this car used about six months ago. So far, it is a great car. I drove this car across the country (Michigan to Washington) in three days without any trouble. Before my move, I did experience some trouble with the battery. I lived in a really small rural town and hardly ever thought to lock my car. The owner's manual said that leaving your car unlocked to extended periods of time can drain the battery. We changed the battery and I made it a point to lock my car and everything has been smooth sailing since!

I love my Jetta and have had no issues with it in the 3+ years that I have owned it. I would highly recommend VW to anyone. The only downside is my current sports model is not designed with having car seats in mind. For this reason I drive our full-size dodge SUV when I have my grandson. However, I do plan on purchasing a larger VW SUV in the near future.

2014 VW Jetta hands down the best.
I love my vehicle. It is a gas saver, very comfortable and has all the features I need. It is also easy to drive and spacious and has a sleek design. The only thing I dislike about it is that the very few things that I have had to fix on it have been expensive because of the vehicles make. But other than that it is perfect.

This car has lasted me a few years already with no major issues. The only downside is that this does not have a touchscreen, and most newer models do, but it does have Bluetooth, so it helps to have hands-free options. Style is still sleek, and the comfort of it is a good size.

It is the perfect car to take on a road trip. The interior is beautiful with the tan colored seats and black covered dash, it is my favorite.

Comfortable commuter vehicle.
I have not really had that many issues with this car. I bought it for the great gas mileage and the longevity. So far, it has been amazing. I did have an issue with my dpf (part of the emissions), but it was covered under my certified pre-owned warranty. I am trying to get friends and relatives to get a tdi because a lot of them have long commutes!

I love the size. It is not too small, but not too big. It is a perfect first car.
Maintenance is very pricey. You have to make sure you stay on top of fixing technical issues. I highly recommend getting an oil change every 3,000 miles versus the 9,000 miles they recommend. I definitely recommend seeing a mechanic that does not work with the actual dealership because they can get a little pricey.

My car picks up very smoothly and drives very smoothly.
Volkswagen Jetta is a great car. Yes some parts you may have to get from the manufacturer but when u keep up with the car it is really nice. It is good on gas. It drives smooth. It has so many fancy interior designs. It is considered a 4 cylinder but it is a 1.8l engine and it can be used in sports mode and manual.

2014 Jetta hybrid. Beware of extended warranties.
Having issues with the hybrid to gas transmission clutch. Should be covered under warranty but they are refusing to cover it.

Interesting detail is that it has a tan leather interior and a moonroof.
Comfort is amazing. Gas mileage is incredible as it is a diesel car. The ease to drive the vehicle is so amazing. The space in the vehicle is much larger than one expects on the inside of an older vehicle. Also the sound quality in the speakers is unbeatable.

Great fuel mileage and room for the family!
I love my Jetta! It gets great fuel mileage and has been very reliable! It is super comfortable and fun to drive (manual transmission) I also love the large trunk space being my only car I can fit my grandma's wheelchair and some luggage no problem. The back seat is roomy for my growing son as well.

It is safe, reliable and gets good gas mileage. I never have to worry about if I'm going to make it where I'm going.
It is a brown 4 door VW Jetta with leather interior. I like that is attractive, reliable and practical. It gets good gas mileage, has great trunk space, is safe, and comfortable to drive. In some ways, I like that it's small (easier to park, etc), but I am starting to want something a little bigger to more comfortably fit my son and our 2 large dogs.

Buy a Jetta and your life will never be the same.
Overall my Jetta has been very reliable and great on gas mileage. I can get around 30 mpg on the highway and the car runs exceptionally smooth. Right now I have 72, 000 miles on it, and haven't experienced any major issues other than standard oil changes. Overall, the Jetta is an a+ car that will reliably get you around day in and day out.

The car is super reliable and it is probably the nicest thing I own.
I love the sunroof. It is a nice size. Gas mileage is very good. You can roll the windows down by inserting the key on the outside door handle. You can adjust the seat very specifically. The hands off Bluetooth technology is great. The seats can go down in the back and gives you a lot of room if you need to haul some stuff like a college dorm room move in.

Fun to drive and 40mpg highway
This has been an awesome car. 1.8T SE with about 65,000 on it, runs like new. I've just done regular maintenance. Only issue really has been the window switch. Fun to drive, great car.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta safety review.
The Volkswagen Jetta is a great car for first year drivers. It is a safe car, cheap to repair, and very reliable. My favorite feature is how the car connects to the phone without needing to plug any cords in.

The moon roof too is amazing with not only retractable windows but a screen.
Water comes in through the right rear tail light and pools in the wheel storage well. It also comes in through the front window when down even a bit if it is even lightly raining. Outside of that it handles wonderfully and gets excellent gas mileage. Excellent storage.

Heated seats are amazing!
Good solid car. I once had a oil problem which I had to get fixed. Overall a reliable car. Front seats are comfortable for travel. Plenty of trunk space especially for the size of the car. Brake went kind of fast but I also lived it the city for a few years. I regret not getting a sunroof. Heated seats work the best out of all cars I have had.

Nice simple daily driver.
It is the base S model. So not a lot of optional extras. So far that means no electrical issues since it isn't as electronic heavy as more expensive models. It is a 5 speed which one is easy to drive. The clutch is light and doesn't strain the left leg at all

Very reliable transportation.
Our 2014 VW Jetta is very reliable, it is extremely comfortable and definitely great on gas. Has gotten us through many road trips with no issues. Leather interior and still looks modern after 6 years. I also use this as my daily driver. Couldn't be happier.

Amazing reliable good looking ride.
I love my Jetta. It is been super reliable and easy to maintain. It drives amazingly smooth and small enough to get through traffic quickly. I haven't really had any problems with it. I love the leather interior and the comfort of my seats. I have received many compliments of the inside of my car because it looks super polished. I love it.

She’s a beaut. She’s good and beautiful.
I love my car. It drives great. There is nothing wrong with it as of right now. I love the color & the interior. I would highly recommend anyone to buy this car! It is very reliable. I would give it 5 stars for sure. I would get another one, just newer if this one ever died on me.

Other than the high maintenance required, I love it.
I love my car! It does require a lot of attention though. There is constantly a light out, oil needs changed, air conditioning will not work, etc. Other than that, it is a great car. It is super reliable and smooth to drive. It looks sleek and the interior lasts really well.

I love the Bluetooth is very old fashioned so when I get new technology exciting.
We had a lot of problems in the beginning. From brakes to tires the place that sold us the lied to us. We had to redo almost everything on the car. Took us 6 months to get it going. It is nice that our car now is in a good place and running wonderful. The car is for my 16 year old son.

My car is a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, model s.
I personally love my Volkswagen Jetta! It is not considered too “new” or even the highest of the models but let me tell you, it is an amazing car. If you like a car that is on the smaller side that is quick in picking up speed I'd highly recommend. I bought it of a lot in the beginning of the year (2020) as a 2014 Jetta and since it has not given me any kind of problems. A lot of people I come to find out are a bit skeptical about these cars because they require ‘German’ parts and may be pricey when needed. I was a bit skeptical myself at first but after doing plenty of research these cars are amazing cars and it is a very little chance you will be spending more money than necessary on this car.

Perfect car for a single girl!
This car is great for when I am driving alone, or with someone in my passenger seat. The front seats are comfortable, there is great visibility for it being a car relatively low to the ground, and it is very smooth to drive. However, there is virtually no air conditioning the back seats, which makes it difficult to have passengers in the summer (or most of the time living in la). I have also had a few issues with the Bluetooth and it not connecting to my phone, but that usually resolves itself after 5-10 minutes. Overall, it is a very reliable and great commuter car.

Very reliable vehicle to buy.
Car is super great. Very great on gas and very great on mileage. Car in the truck and back seat and front seats are super very spacious. Does not have the nicest most fanciest interior but it gets the job done. Does not drive too fast but for an everyday vehicle it is great.
