VW passat happy customer!
Love my car! It gets amazing gas mileage which is our number 1 priority because we drive a lot. We drove it on a cross country vacation a year ago, and it did great. It is also super comfortable as my husband and I are both larger people. We have leather which is great because our dogs sometimes come along with us. We have a sunroof which is nice as well. I had a VW tiguan before this car, and it had a huge sunroof without solid closure. It was miserable in Texas in the hot summer time. We won't buy another vehicle with that. Our local VW dealership is great and we look forward to working with them on any future VW purchases we make.

Smooth riding on long trips.
I love the Volkswagen Passat, so comfortable on trips. Smooth running car, has a lot of get up and go. Has a very roomy backseat. A lot of legroom, in the back. Makes it comfortable on long trips. Has a large trunk also. Really love the backing up camera, and the hands free phone system.

Sleek and comfortable driving experience.
I love this car. It is sleek and beautiful. Driver and passenger seat feel luxurious with seat warmers. There is plenty of space for adults to be comfortable in the backseat even for long road trips. Ample room in the trunk for carrying road trip supplies or Costco runs.

Overall it is a great car and hopefully service will be better in the future.
Issue with changing lanes and sensor lights not working. They have been recalled but the problem seems to keep happening. The performance on the road is very smooth and nice. The car is a full metal body so it is encase is very safe and secure. Interior is black on black and very sleek with added features and updates that you can do.

My vehicle is 4 door candy apple red. The car is really good on gas.
The car is a smooth ride. When the oil needs to be changed the light comes on to let you know. That is good for me being a woman. This is a very reliability car. I drove the car up north with no problems and when I came back home the car was still running well. It is roomy inside the car and the trunk space. This is my first Volkswagen car and I love it.

Volkswagen Passat se is amazing.
Peppy engine other than that perfect. Drives smoothly, apple carplay and Bluetooth work perfectly. Back up camera works efficiently as well as windshield wipers, ac, heat, blinkers, seat warmers, turn signals and more. Safe car, has a lot of room, I'd say it is a very large sedan. I love this car!!

Great and smooth acceleration/speed.
The 2018 Volkswagen Passat/tsi has been one of my personal favorites. The performance of the car is incredibly smooth and safe. The reliability is a plus too, thanks to the sensors and automated systems that help when it comes to long road trips. Although the car is not much when it comes to space, it is nice for many other reasons. One of those reasons being the tsi, the acceleration and the amount of speed gained within seconds, seat warmers, and the amount of gas it wastes in just a day! I have taken so many long road trips and I only needed to fill up my tank 2 times the most! The 2018 Volkswagen Passat/tsi is something I would recommend to a traveler, business person, or even a college student.

2018 Volkswagen best design yet!
My vehicle had a lot of comfort since it is a med size car. The features on the car are great. The car has back up camera, automatic brakes, blind spot sensors. I love this vehicle it makes it so easy to drive in a busy city. The best part is the car has automatic cruise control!

The car is expensive and many things go wrong.
I have had to many tech issues with this car. I feel that a car that is 10 months old shouldn't have so many things go wrong.

The styling helps get people to look at your car. Gets great gas mileage.
The car play does not work well. It is the plug. The car has treat style and power, good gas mileage for a v6. The car needs to have more features for the price point but ok. Needs to have better customer service will sells. The car has little problems but fixed easily.

Ups and downs of owning a VW.
Brakes seem to be less than expected. Ac does not live up to other vehicles. Nice features such as blind spot alarm, side mirror defrosters, and sound system in car is above average. Great gas mileage almost 40 Hwy. Low profile front end makes it look sporty and easy on the eyes.

Great car, not so good engine
Bought my Passat brand new in Dec 2018. It has been running well up until about a month ago when it started hesitating and skipping while driving along, even sometimes while just idling. It has just over 45k miles and the dealership suggested changing the spark plugs since that's required at 40k. They changed the plugs but the problem has gotten progressively worse; it stalled on me and the EPC light came on and It really started running rough, I turned the car off and back on again and it cleared the problem; now its back to hesitating and skipping again, I'm scheduled for another appointment at the dealership in a few days to try again. Hopefully they will find the problem and fix it this time. Overall it's a great vehicle, very roomy and awesome gas mileage but there should be some kind of recall on that 2.0t tsi engine because it could prove to be very unsafe if it stalls on you in the middle of traffic.

It rides smooth and is quiet. Other than that there is nothing else I would say.
I don't really have any complaints, I would rather be in a SUV or truck though

My moving office, my big passat!
My vehicle is very basic passat. It is reliable, comfortable but does not have extras that I like in a car especially a sunroof! It’s a nice looking sedan, drives well, gets good gas mileage, I drive a lot for work so I am in the car all the time so I need a reliable car.

The perfect sporty sedan!
Vehicle is great! Interior is very comfortable and visually appealing. Lots of options including heated seats. Sound system is great. The performance and handling in the car is wonderful. I like that you can change it from normal to sports mode, for a completely different driving experience. The trunk is spacious and allows for plenty of cargo space. They vehicle gets great safety reviews.

The V6 gives you power and some special body paint for the GT makes it look sporty. It has special wheels and tires. The ride has special features that makes it fun to drive. It also has red calipers for the brakes that makes it stand out.

I love my car it has so many safety features and having my son this is a must. It gets awesome gas mileage. It has get up and go power! So much room for any passenger. It is loaded with lots of features including my favorite backup camera. It was a great price as well.

Lots of power, just missing luxury features. It new real leather seats. Could use better sound system then offered. Great styling nice look. Could use upgraded display and one that works. They is a lot of issue with the apple carplay feature that is offered.

It may look sporty but it does. It have the features that other cars have for convenient that would make it more comfortable. It could use memory seats as well as fog lights that would make it more comfortable to drive and see. It really could have real leather seats instead of leatherette to make it feel better.

The back seat windows do not go down all the way. And when changing the oil it is has to be a VW oil with a specific dye in it. It is appearance is a bit more for an older person. The technology is not as easy to access at first. You can not leave the car running and lock the car.

Not quality features. Lots of service issue with apple carplay. The system for plugging in the car play really work bad. It throws off the computer so you have issue to take to service. Lots of transmission not shifting that they say is normal.

How Reliable Is The 2018 Volkswagen Passat?

It is a very reliable car. It had a small headlight screw recall, but the dealership took care of it right away. Other than that, I have had no problems at all.

Mine was around 23,000. In this area of Texas, it was very affordable. The interest rate was quite reasonable as well.

It originally was priced at $27.000 I paid $19.000 $22.000 after taxes I feel that it was a very good value for my money I researched this car for months before buying it.
