It's great on gas, I fill the tank prob every week and a half and it cost me about 30$
It's small but perfect size for me. It's great on gas and has given very little trouble

Volkswagen rabbit, the perfect little car, with plenty of room inside.
When I first bought my car, I had bought it used. I had to put parts into it, as regular work would come into it. My car does not perform all that much, but my 2.5l engine is very reliable. It is comfortable, and easy and fun to drive. I love the vehicle. It is a smooth ride and typically does not have any issues. I have only had to do a couple things, other than the mechanical work. It is a lot of cosmetic work. When I first test drove my car. I was instantly in love with the car and couldn't wait to drive it. The car has power when you need it as well. I love my car.

09 Volkswagen rabbit with manual/automatic option.
I love my rabbit, I haven't had any issues with it. It's bigger than it looks on the inside, its fast and reliable. The only thing I wish I had was Bluetooth capabilities but the auxiliary cable works just as well. I really enjoy the option of manual or automatic.

My car is very roomy and comfortable for long road trips.
One thing I like is it's size. It seats five comfortably but also has plenty of room to transport large items or large amounts of items. It also gets very good gas mileage. I have no complaints about my car.

It handles well, smooth ride, and is very peppy and fun to drive.
Compact, but lots of cargo space with hatchback. Peppy comfortable ride

Great small car for commuting and around town!
This has been a very reliable vehicle. I have had few repairs needed, other than replacement tires, lights, and windshield wipers. There was one recall which required a software download. I like the size and feel of the car. There is nothing that I dislike.

Brakes were recalled on the 2009 model. Otherwise always reliable.
Very reliable sporty car. Great value for money. Small 2-door but very comfortable inside. Can fit 4 people including driver. Good engine to body ratio. Very good gas-mileage ratio

It performs like a race car.
It is solidly built and requires only routine maintenance. This car has never required major repairs.

The rabbit runs forever, is great on gas, and handles well in the rain and snow
My car is a 2 door hatchback. It is white on the outside with grey interior. The radio has good sound and the seat warmer is heaven in winter. You can put the back seat down and extend the trunk area. It's also nice that when trunk is closed you see what is in there. Great size for parking also

Minor electrical issues but overall excellent daily driver
Great car, very smooth ride. Handles very well, not many mechanical problem. Alternator has failed twice in the 5 years I've owned, other than that this has been an excellent car for daily driving and having the occasional day of fun. Great acceleration for small hatchback

How Reliable Is The 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit?

It is very reliable, didn't have much problems except normal maintenance due to age and usage. Cost of repairs at dealership can be high though.

The 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit is reliable but has some issues. For example, the exhaust is very loud and the car does not accelerate fast enough.
Tavia B.
Yes it's a 100% reliable. It has never broken down, or had any serious issues. I recommend others to find a car like mine, since I use it for college and work commute only.

Is The 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit A Good Value?

The dealership financed the car for me. It was a good value, a pre-owned vehicle with low mileage. I got a good deal.
Catherine F.
The value of the car depends on if the car was used or not. I paid around 20,000 dollars for my new Volkswagen Rabbit but I am sure it is cheaper if used.
Madison R.
I bought it used for 6,000k. I got a great deal, yet I've been to the dealership to buy some new rims, new mats, and etc.
