My car has been maintenance free other than tire rotations, oil changes etc, love the leather seats, especially in the winter when they are heated. Nice heavy solid car that allows me to feel safe while driving. Gas mileage is not the best, but I do not drive a ton so no iffy. Insurance costs are relatively high, but I feel that it is because it is a quality car that costs more to repair.

Safety is an important detail, which is why I rely on Volvo cars.
I love my Volvo. I have owned Volvo cars over the past 40+ years. They are very reliable, strong and safe. Would NOT drive another vehicle. Any regular repairs and updates are always very reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend this type of vehicle to anyone. Especially if safety, comfort and reliability are of the utmost importance to the owner or driver.

Most Comfortable And Safe Ride
Incredibly quiet and smooth ride. True luxury feel. Easily accommodates many size and shape drivers. Modern station wagon and great for carrying larger loads. Seats fold down for creating an open back area. My second Volvo XC70. Feel very safe in it with airbags all around. A lot of computerization so occasionally some quirk with error message requiring Volvo support to correct, turn off or address the problem. I drive 2 hours to work so important it be a comfortable ride. Highly recommend this vehicle.

My love of my first Volvo.
Love my car as I did the first day I brought it home. Nine years later and almost 60,000 miles I haven't changed my mind. Nice heavy car, nicely finished interior and amazing sound. Not the best gas mileage, but something has to give. I am not even thinking of looking at a new car soon.

Great vehicle for someone looking for characteristics of SUV without the price
I love that my vehicle gives me the space of an SUV and drives like a sedan. I feel safe and the gas mileage is great. I only fill my tank about once-twice a month.
