We refer to it as the 'mom car' -- but it is still luxurious and adventurous.
We really do love this car, but right now we're afraid we're dealing with some belt/alternator issues and minor electrical car. We're grateful we bought the warranty we did. Otherwise, it handles great, is very comfortable, seems durable and goes off-road easily.

Good brand vehicle overall.
I purchase my Volvo xc90 in 2010 so far I had no major issues other than changing the shocks, tires, and brakes. Aside from that nothing has gone wrong with my vehicle, I always do the routine maintenance to make sure is running properly. I have. I major complains so far.

I feel very safe driving my Volvo.
The car is rated #1 in safety, so I feel safe driving on highways. The car is safe because the vehicle is a literal tank, which means it is incredibly heavy and burns through gas quickly. This means I spent more money on gas than if I had another car. It is also an older car, so technology is very limited.

The sound system works well because audio can be controlled for the rear seats.
Volvo has a great audio system and steering is comfortable. The seating is ample. I enjoy the cars versatility I can use in rough roads with a higher clearance and it's just as well with city driving. My front lights cover turned yellow after a few years and were replaced. Also, it's not that great on fuel. Overall I love the car it's comfortable, nice looking and a very safe ride.

2010 Volvo xc90- the perfect first car for new drivers!
The biggest problem I have with my car is that the headlights are not very bright, thus it makes me nervous to drive at night. Other than that, it is a very safe vehicle with backup sensors and blind spot centers, and very good mileage. Additionally, it warns you of low gas and tire pressure with a readable message.

Headlight windshield wipers.
No problems at all. Drives solid and feels incredibly safe. Recently had to change tires as part of normal maintenance. I did have to have the air conditioning serviced but also typical given the age of the vehicle. Tons of room. Driving for soccer and trips with the dog, the car really has a lot to offer. Excellent sound system. Features like permanent hidden child seat, heated front seats.

High capacity compact SUV
Love them my vehicle is 4-wheel drive safe for my family of 6. Has a sporty look but the capacity of a minivan. The seats fold easily.

Excellent Exterior, poor interior
The exterior is fantastic and has held up really well. The interior, on the other hand, continues to fall apart on a consistent basis. Many of the plastic items on the interior have broken. However, the leather seats continue to be very comfortable. After 140,000+ Miles, this car continues to run pretty well. And it safety features made it a good choice for a family with two children.

Family, fun and flexible we love the xc70! Gives us the luxury feeling.
Picked up the Volvo about ten years ago after driving a Acura TSX for twelve years. Decided to lease the car in case I missed the sporty feel of a sedan. However, after a few weeks I really like the convenience of the wagon, more room for the dog, golf clubs and hitch on the back for the bikes. Electronics are simple and intuitive. I really like the model. Comfort is excellent compared to the beamer. The only thing I do not like is the low gas mileage but I knew this would be the trade-off with the four wheel drive. With gas prices low and living in NY willing to give up gas efficiency to feel safer especially when it snows. So far, I am very happy with this car.

If you are looking for a luxury car, get this.
This car has great mileage, little to no problems and maintenance required. The suspension, however is slightly too tight, but it is barely noticeable. I would definitely call this car luxurious, but dependable. This car is also very good for going off-road with its AWD capabilities.

It is expensive to refill with gas.
It drives very smoothly and is the perfect size. Mine is a silver with black leather interior and it is very durable. There are no problems other than the breaks are extremely squeaky at times, but that can be fixed. It is very reliable considering we bought it used and it is still in great condition. Pricey to fill up.

The vehicle has classic styling. The split tailgate is a very handy detail.
The comfort and reliability of the car has been excellent. It has enough space for a family of five people. The style of the vehicle is not dated after ten years. The performance is good but not outstanding. The vehicle performs well in snowy and wet conditions.

Elegant, reliable, and smooth.
This is the best car I have owned. It is great in the highway, it had a big engine so you defined feel the difference from going from a small car to this SUV but the suspension, brakes, you cannot feel the change in gear at all.. Will never purchase another make/model.

Stunning Volvo xc90 with safety features that will lower your car insurance.
I Haven't had any problems. It is good on gas as long as you keep your oil changed and I prefer to use the high test gas. I feel safe in this car and it is very comfortable. I love the blind spot sensors on my mirrors and I also have back up sensors. This is my second xc90 and I'll probably upgrade to a newer version eventually.
