Volvos are a very good car but very expensive to repair when needed.
It continues have the same problems. Pauses for a few seconds when pressing on gas pedal. The traction control system has issues which have not been fixed yet. Other than those 2 things it's a great riding car but very expensive to repair. The gas mileage is very good especially on highways.

Safe reputation. German ingenuity without the pretentious.
Overall the car is a nice ride but at times it feels like the transmission is straining. I wish the vehicle had a rear camera and navigation system. It has also been slightly more expensive to maintain than other cars I have owned. It has a roomy interior.

Quirks if you can handle them.
I am a Volvo guy, grew up in a Volvo family. However, the xc90 feels off. The battery kept dying, resulting in needing a jump if I didn't drive it much in a week. Turns out the satellite radio receiver drains the battery. Then there are the various things that keep going out. The rear wiper, the tailgate, interior finishing pieces coming off. I do have 2 young kids, so it has been through some strains, but I expected this to hold up better. I like how it drives and handles. Gas mileage could be better. The navigation system is hilariously ancient, and the backup camera screen usually takes so long to start up, I am done backing down the whole driveway by the time it comes up.

Volvo xc90 - reliable and functional.
My Volvo is a comfortable SUV which drives well, though not too zippy. It has needed mostly just maintenance, though I do have a 'check engine' light which continues to come on even though the mechanics have repeatedly found nothing wrong. The third row was nice when my kids were young, and the trunk is spacious when the third row seats are down. It does everything I need it to do without extra functions and buttons. I would recommend this SUV for young families.

Great family car- spacious and reliable.
The Volvo xc90 is a perfect car for my large family. I have four children under 7 and can fit them all plus a double stroller in the car with no problems. There's still discs for groceries/shopping. I love how easy it is to move the seats to put extra kids in if I need or more extra space in the trunk. The car has been very reliable and I have had no issues at all in the two years we've had it.

It's very safe and comfortable to drive.
I feel safe in my Volvo and it's stylish. The gas mileage is also pretty good. I do not have any complaints - it's a great SUV.

The incredibly safe Volvo xc90.
The Volvo xc90 has a smooth ride as well as safety features. The safety features include an orange light on the side mirror to indicate an approaching vehicle. There are sensors on the bumpers that indicate you are too close to another vehicle or object.

The reliability of the vehicle.
It is very big and has a lot of space. It drives very well. It seems to have a lot of maintenance with it thought. I do not like how hard it is to work on it. I like the interior design of it, but do wish that it does not look so bulky on the outside. It is very reliable. The car does very well on road trips and long drives. It has somewhat of a good comfort level. I wish that the seats were more comfortable. The leather on the seats, I wish lasted longer, because they have started to crack and it seems that it did it very easily. The speaker need to be better, because the sound sounds muffled sometimes. The trunk needs more space. For a big SUV like that, it definitely needs and deserves a better trunk. The space for the trunk is not reliable.

Is really safe and comfortable.
Is really comfortable and I think it is a safe car. My only concern is the high repair cost we have every time something is wrong with it. And I love the screens they have a the back seats.
Large, lots of space in trunk, has extra seats in back. Once it had an electrical issue and started turning on and off with no one in the car. It is also very difficult to jump with the battery being in the trunk under a cover, so have Allen wrenches on you in case you need to get at it.

Safety. My SUV has lots of things that make it feel extra safe. BLISS alerts me to drivers in my blind spot and backup sensors keep me from bumping into things out of my field of vision.
I love my SUV! I live in Georgia where the winters are usually mild. The AWD got me and my two babies safely home after driving seven hours over ice and snow in the 'Snowmageddon' of 2013.

It drives well. Has many safety features i'm loving, considering i have 3 children and one on the way. Very dependable. I love the built in booster seat!
It is extremely reliable and safe. So many extra spots for the latch system, which is awesome for our many carseats.

Great for a family with you get children but needs more trunk and leg space.
This has been a great car. I have a family of six and we can all fit in this car. I do wish it had more trunk space and leg room. It is convenient for our children to get into the third row seating, but a little difficult for an adult to get back there. It takes a bit of maneuvering.

It is a safe vehicle with AWD that offers me a certain amount of comfort about surviving and accident should I have one.
It has a really good safety rating which why I bought it. I like the size of the vehicle. It has a 3rd row that has AC, which is nice for my dogs. It has nice options, like leather seating, sunroof, power windows and doors.

Owning a Volvo xc90- ups and downs.
Very reliable, good performance would buy another. Easy to work with the dealership and has many miles with little problems. The only problem had was with side mirror- needed some work and it was far too expensive to get fixed. Otherwise no real problems.

Love our Volvo. It has been reliable.
The only issue we have had since owning the vehicle is the ac does not cool efficiently. The vehicle has to be driving for 15 minutes or so for it to start cooling. Other than that it has been a very reliable car. We would buy another Volvo with our experience.

2012 Volvo xc90. I do not know whatever you want.
It is just a little old at this point. Has power windows, heated seats and entertainment system. Very safe car. Safety cage feature is nice. Crash ratings are great. Fuel economy is a little poor. Some of the trim is falling off inside the cab of the vehicle.

Great small sport utility vehicle.
It is our first Volvo. Great small SUV. 3rd row, sunroof, great navigation system, all the works. 3rd row lays down to get those larger hauls where they need to go. All wheel drive. Great gas mileage. Would recommend Volvo to anyone for years to come.

It is a reliable car. The model is a roomy suv that fits a family of five. Unfortunately it's time for a new car because it is now a terrible car.

Not the most tech-savvy car, but definitely the most safe and secure.
The main reason my family loves our car is because of how safe and secure it feels. We did not purchase it to be flashy or go super fast, we purchased it to feel safe and secure on the road. In terms of features, our model is a bit outdated, since we purchased the vehicle in 2012. That being said, the Volvo SUVs now have amazing technology features.

Good Volvo and excellent safety car.
Super reliable, best safety record, good gas mileage for an SUV. It rides nice and has the features like: heated seats, power windows, power seats, navigation system, and very well built. Good color, leather seats, has the third row of seats. Maintenance is easy to keep.
