The vehicle has many positives to include how comfortable the ride is. I feel barely any bumps on the road even in NYC. The seats do not feel uncomfortable even with prolonged travel times. It handles turns well and responds well when accelerating. The design is amazing both aesthetically and mechanically everything works well together.
Smooth driving, steering is very good, fast acceleration, very silent car on the road as well. The car is also very sleek looking. I feel safe in the car- Volvo is supposed to be very safe. It is also very comfortable.
Side mirrors light up when it is not safe to change lane. Heated front and back seats. 3rd row. Rear camera. GPS. On call button. Love the front headlights. Huge double pane moonroof. Beautiful stock rims. Bluetooth.
The vehicle leaves a lot to be desired when we explore its electronics. Specifically the center console. Whenever we hit a slight bump the radio would turn on even sometimes it would change the temperature. It was mostly fixed with an update but the UI is still very clunky and not natural. It wouldn't hurt to add some haptic sounds to the navigation or at least have the option for that.
No cup holder in back of the car and the blue tooth does not always connect. The GPS system is also cumbersome. Otherwise there is no real issue in terms of driving or operating, just small things that would be upgraded.
When I lower either the air conditioning or heat from level 2, 3, 4, 5, down to 1, the air conditioning and heat make a louder noise on level 1 than on 2-5. No cooled seats option. My model does not make brown interior leather.
The 2019 Volvo XC90 has an average owner rating of 4.80 out of 5 which ranks it #3 of 20 other Luxury Midsize SUVs.
