Models also known as Trim Levels, are used to identify a vehicle's level of equipment or special features.
This vehicle operates well in the snow and ice. It does well on long journeys, only needing to be filled once on a nine hour journey. The vehicle is sleek and attractive with a leather interior and many add on options.
The pros of this vehicle are: the space it has, my whole family can fit in the van without any issues or being crowded, leather seats for easy cleaning with kids, ease of getting in and out of the vehicle, it rides nice, DVD player.
I love my van. The two things I would change or improve on would be the back seats, they are very uncomfortable. And when you put them down they are very dangerous, they are so strong they pull you to the front with them.
Fold Flat to the floor middle row and third row seats provides optimum hauling capacity. I buy and sell antiques so I really don't need a pick up truck.. Good GPS navigation system. Luxury package with leather seats, TV screens in middle and third row seats. Keyless start and entry..
Comfortable riding. Good fuel economy. Very reliable. Very nice features. With the folding seats it can haul a 4x8 piece of plywood inside of the vehicle. It has good power and stopping power when hauling the boat.
This vehicle is great for family road trips. Plenty of room. The DVD is a major plus with kids. It is not too big so parking is easy and not too small so we feel safe. There's plenty of airbags to also feel safe.
The vehicle is spacious and has great interior amenities. It feels like a more high end vehicle. The cons are the road noise and the rough shifting. The van has a nice body style and the automatic opening of doors is excellent.
The pros of this vehicle are as follows, all seats from the second row to the third row fold completely into the floor which makes it great for putting large items in it. Some of the other pros are heated side mirrors, radio controls on the backside of the steering wheel, DVD player with Bluetooth headphones, heated leather front seats and heated steering wheel.
The lighter weight of the vehicle can cause issues during the winter as it can have limited traction. It is also a relatively large vehicle and can be cumbersome to operate if unaccustomed to that sized vehicle.
The con for the van would be the gas mileage it gets, other than that it fits my needs along with my families needs. My kids love it, there is enough room to have my dogs in without them being all over us.
Seats, very uncomfortable and when putting them down they are very dangerous. They pull you to the front at a fast rate of speed, pushing your head into the back of the front seat. Also my van had rust around the hood after one year and I do not live in a state that puts salt on roads. One more thing is the remote start, After you start it remotely, when you get in to drive it takes turning it off and on several times to get to where you can actually drive.
Communication system is not user friendly at all. I really do not like the color (blue) but it was the color that had the features that I wanted. The GPS system needs to be purchased as an upgrade. When I pay $25K for a car please don; t nickel and dime me.
It does not have the best traction in the winter time no matter what brand of tires are on the vehicle. Does not handle good when it is winding out as it is a taller vehicle. Does have a couple bad blind spots.
The transmission is acting up and apparently with this model and year there is always transmission problems. The shocks are a little worn but that is because this was a rental car before we got it. Otherwise we are very happy.
The road noise can at times be a bit noisy. The vehicle sometimes shifts a bit hard causing a small jolt. The vehicle was last manufactured in 2016 so it is the last year it was made. The Pacifica followed this vehicle and has more amenities.
The cons of this vehicle are the following, poor blind spot visibility and very light touched throttle response. One month is r thing I really cannot stand is the economy button that is very necessary to keep on at all times. If you do not leave it on it destroys fuel economy as well as brakes and a list of other things.
The 2016 Chrysler Town & Country has an average owner rating of 4.48 out of 5 which ranks it #3 of 6 other Minivans.
