Full outdoors, potent, all terrain, lots of space inside, comfortable to pass overnight in, camping, fast on highway (up to 120 m/h after 226666 miles). Cheap, durable. 1 Year with 0 maintenance and still good. Dummy tested. Parts and fluids are cheap.
It has a great cargo capacity and is really easy to clean out once you are done hauling. It has a really tight turning radius and drives like a compact car but feels more like a station wagon. I wish Honda still made this vehicle.
It is tall, difficult to maneuver at high speed (it is indicated in the car warning about close turns on curves). It's quick start takes an avg of 10 seconds to reach the 60 mph. It is old fashioned model.
Honda no longer produces this car, so repairs can be a bit more expensive because certain parts must be special ordered. Also, because the car is super boxy, it has larger than average blind spots. I added fish eye mirrors to remedy this problem.
The 2005 Honda Element has an average owner rating of 4.64 out of 5 which ranks it #2 of 20 other Compact SUVs.
