The car is reliable it has comfortable seats that have plenty adjustments to be comfortable for anyone. Very comfortable for long trips. It has proven to require only basic maintenance. The interior is good quality and durable.
I love the size of my car both in the interior and exterior. I also love the reliability of the make. The color of the car is also really pleasing to me. The car handles exceptionally well in all weather. The trim is also very nice. I like the dash and features along the dash.
The gas mileage, while good, could be improved. The navigation system does not work as well as other systems such as waze or google maps. I wish there was a way to prevent the connection between my cell and the call system in the car. There are times I do not want the call to go through the system on the car. If there is a way, it is not readily apparent. It would be nice for the conveniences to be a little more user friendly. There is very little negative to be said about this vehicle. It is a 2012 but I intend to keep this vehicle for a lot longer.
The center console has vinyl that is peaking. It is really unacceptable considering it is not even 10 years old. The cost to replace it is 8 percent of the cars value so it really does not make sense for me to replace it, but it really bothers me every time I drive it.
The 2012 Toyota Avalon has an average owner rating of 4.60 out of 5 which ranks it #2 of 8 other Large Cars.
