The 2012 Jeep Liberty, is equipped with wheel sensors that monitor tire pressure. To perform a reset of the TPMS warning light, park the vehicle on a flat surface and using a gauge, check the tires are inflated to a PSI of around 33. With the doors locked and the windows rolled up, turn the key in the ignition to the "on" position without starting the vehicle. Depress the TPMS reset button located below the steering wheel until it blinks three times. Turn the ignition off and remove the key. Start the engine and let it run for 20 minutes while the system records the new pressure of each tire. Other methods include driving at 50 mph for 10 minutes or disconnecting and reconnecting battery cables.

To reset the tire pressure monitor or tpms system in your 2012 jeep liberty vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the tpms button, usually located under the dash, until the tpms light blinks several times. Start your vehicle and let it run for at least 20 minutes and your tpms system should be reset.
