The 2007 Dodge Charger has one fuel pump, which is a part of the gas tank. The fuel pump is needed to get fuel from the gas tank to the engine. If there is something wrong with the pump then You will notice that the car has less power when accelerating, may shake or stall, and may not start at all. If the pump goes bad then You will need to replace the entire gas tank, as You can't get the pump out. That said a new tank and pump will cost You about 600 dollars, and the labor will also cost You about 400. That said You can't use the car with a bad pump, so You more or less have no choice.

The Dodge Charger actually has 2 fuel pumps.. There is a primary fuel pump module on the driver's side of the vehicle and a secondary on the passenger side. The Charger fuel tank is a saddle-bag design meaning it has 2 separate compartments and requires 2 pumps to access the fuel.

Like Roberta Jones said, The 2007 Doge Charger R/T has 2 fuel pumps, I didn't realize this until I went to change one of them in my 2007 Dodge Charger R/T.

Yep, two fuel pumps, saddle bag gas tank design, drivers side is fuel supply to engine. The nice thing is rear seat access to both pumps.

The 2007 Dodge Charger has one fuel pump. The fuel pump supplies pressurized gasoline to each of the fuel injectors into the engine. The fuel pump is powered by a compact electric motor and is located in the vehicle's gas tank. The pressure and output of the pump are controlled by a regulator.
