The 2012 Ford Fusion will have a life expectancy of between 175,000 to 225,000 miles before the vehicle will need to have major repairs done such as having the engine or the transmission rebuilt. These vehicles are known to be pretty reliable to it shouldn't be too hard to get this vehicle to the 200k mile mark but of course You will need to follow the regularly scheduled maintenance to get it there. You'll need to go in for an oil change every 7,500 miles and a transmission fluid change every 40,000 to 60,000. It will need a tune up every 18 months or so.
My 2012 fusion has 195 thousand miles. I've had to replace both half shaft cv axle. Drivers side axle seal in the transmission, and the airconditioning sensor. I hope that I can get it to 200 thousand miles, because I'm on social security benefits and can't afford a new one right now.

I am pushing 200k on mine. Its been a great car and I hate the thought of buying another car anytime soon. New cars are way too expensive and used cars are to high in miles.

Just changed out the water pump on my 2012 Ford Fusion Sel, 2.5L with 221k miles. This by FAR is the BEST car I have ever owned with very little issues. Make sure you follow good car maintenance, routine oil changes and fuel treatments, give your car the loveits giving you.
