The 2005 Ford F-150 alternator fuse location is in the big black battery terminal fuse box on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Inside the cover are two large fuses, and under those is a smaller fuse inside a clip cover. The smaller fuse is a standard 10 amp auto fuse. It can get blown by the alternator.Look at the fuse wire. If there is a visible gap in the wire or a dark or metallic smear inside the glass then the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced. Many local parts stores such as Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone carry a wide variety of fuses. Just make sure to match the correct amp and size fuse that You are replacing.

Fuse for alternator is located inside the passenger compartment. Remove right (passenger side) kick panel. Then remove the fuse box cover.
