Moderate storage space, comfortable seating with lots of room, solid fuel efficiency for an SUV, Sirius satellite capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, all-wheel drive with Turbo that has pretty good power.
The size is great, good amenities and it has lasted really well over the years. The cons is that it takes a lot of gas to fill- average of $60 to fill the tank every time. It gets expensive if you are driving more than just around town, errands, etc.
This car is amazing to drive. It is reliable and intuitive and with the turbo package, it is a lot of fun too. On long trips, the car is comfortable despite the smaller size of the RDX. I never have to worry about the car breaking down or leaving me stranded anywhere either.
The suspension rides a little rough at times, standard package does not come with reverse back up camera, only seats five, back seat does not lay down flat so you can not transfer large furniture inside.
It is very expensive to fill the gas tank- great car but pricey. First you have the base price, then the gas to keep it running. But, we haven't had to do a lot in 10 years- maintenance wise it is awesome.
Because the car is little older, there's more maintenance involved. It makes a strange little noise when I start the car (but never in front of the mechanic) that seems to be connected to the HVAC and stereo - although neither are affected. Eventually, the noise goes away.
The 2008 Acura RDX has an average owner rating of 4.42 out of 5 which ranks it #2 of 4 other Luxury Compact SUVs.
