My jeep handles beautifully in the snow.
Wonderful craftsmanship. Beautiful colors and styling. Do not like the Audio system--cranky. Also steering wheel requires manual adjustment.

Driving a BMW truly is an amazing drive experience…sporty yet smooth!
I love the sporty drive of the x3. My vehicle has the adaptive cruise control and I love it, it is great when you are in traffic as well as on the road… you just set your distance and desired speed and the car does the rest! It also has the Harmon carbon stereo system which sounds amazing! The x3 also looks good and is just overall my favorite vehicle!

Front seats are uncomfortable for long distance driving.
Size is perfect. Nice accessories. Decent gas mileage. Front seat uncomfortable for long distance driving.

Too much to talk about but I love my car.
No problems the car is great. The performance is perfect. Tires and speed are Optimal. I do not have anything else to say. BMW is great. No problems. Get a 2018 for the back up camera because before 2018 there is no back up camera. You cannot see your exact speed in the 2017 just around the speed your are going.

My BMW x3 xdrive35i review.
I like the color red and the sleek design of its exterior, interior is sleek and spacious. I like the drive and luxury feel that you get on a long drive. Long drive has never been more easy, no back aches, the seating is more comfortable. Overall I can give it 5 of 5 because of its drive experience.

It's a very nice driving machine.
It has a rear view camera, front/ back sensors, easy to drive, eco friendly options, 5 seater car luxury SUV, easy to drive automatic car. The seats are high quality leather. Moonroof is an added plus, Bluetooth enabled for your devices. Keyless entry and push button to start.

Memory & heated seat. Foldable rare mirror.
The only problem is the screen, music and the map shut down by itself even when driving and the computer system freezes sometimes. Other than that it is comfortable and smooth highly recommended and reliable. I didn't add a lot of features everything is basic.

Nothing but positive, but still getting to know the car.
I just recently got this car like 2 months ago so I do not have anything negative to say about this car. Additionally, due to the pandemic, I did not get a chance to drive around. Therefore, I am still getting to know the car and so far, all I have to say about this car is only positive things.

Worst car and most expensive car I’ve owned
I so wanted to love this car, but it’s been such a lemon. Within months of owning my 2017 BMW X3, a rock hit the windshield driving on the freeway and needed to be replaced. The driver’s seat needed to be replaced because the seat leather completely cracked near the seat controls, then the fuel injectors failed making my car smell like gasoline. Today, the fuel smell came back, and started shaking, then the driveshaft light cane on. Car is currently at the dealer. I have just under 40,000 mi on the car, but I’ve spent money replacing 6 drive flat tires. This has been the worst car I’ve ever owned, and would’ve expected more from BMW and a $55,000 dollar car. So disappointed.

It uses a great deal of gas. There is an additional charge for parking and washing because of its size.
The vehicle has a hard ride. It is too large and thus difficult to park. It has too many blind spots.
accountCircle Nik F
Very spacious does not drive like a truck.
I like that it is roomy and drives well.? It is bumpy and. Not as comfortable as I would.. Like it to be..

Has good gas mileage. Does good on highway travels.
Love the performance and comfort. Very safe. Do not like interior color. Would like to shift not push buttons. No keys if I lock myself out.

Fun and fast but missing features you could get in a cheaper car.
The 2017 BMW x3 has been a great car. Fun to drive, fast- plenty of power, comfortable seating, great driving position, and it is been fun. Too expensive to maintain however. Fuel economy could be much better, sound proofing could also be better. Car is somewhat loud on the freeway- louder than a luxury car should be. Would recommend if you are willing to pay.

I love that I can see the speedometer on the windshield as it is projected.
The car is reliable it is very technologically advanced. The drive is smooth. The maintenance is expensive, though. The oil changes are expensive but expected since it is considered a luxury vehicle. The car also consumes so much gas. The space is perfect for myself as there is room for potential one child. Is consider a bigger vehicle for anything more than 2 children.

Great car. Do not love the body of the vehicle.
The features are great. It is a super reliable car. It is very tech savvy. It is definitely a super smooth ride. The camera on the back is super clear. I just do not love the body on the car. The back seat does allow for much leg room and the car although an SUV is too low to the ground.

BMW x3: a spectacular vehicle with not-so-spectacular tires.
For the most part, I really enjoy my vehicle. The gas/brake pedals are very smooth, with great back-up cameras and an impressive turn radius. However, the tires of the vehicle are definitely a weakness. There are frequent pressure issues with the tires.

BMW x3 review- best thing that I love about my car.
Has been the best car I have had thus far besides my Volkswagen Jetta. It drives really well and I have run flat tires on it so it is extremely safe and makes me feel comfortable that even if something went wrong I should be safe. I have the whiskey color interior and hope this is never discontinued because I would get it again. I also love to drive my x3 in sport mode whenever I can but once you start going slow the car does get a little jerky.

Pros from Owners

Brand reputation. Color. Style. Design. Safety of the car. Reliability. It is an investment. Although the service costs are sometimes a bit expensive, they are not as often. BMW represents style and luxury. It is a sign of success.

Nice drive, safe, good in bad weather, nice extra features. The car transitions smoothly to higher speeds. I have never had a problem with the car and it has been very reliable. The service that comes with the car is good as well. The run flats are an excellent safety feature and you really are able to drive on it if your tire pops.

likeFilled Ashley F.

Love the heads up display that the vehicle has - showing speedometer and navigation on the windshield for the driver. The economy option when driving is also great for increasing gas mileage. The car itself is spacious and comfortable, with more space available in the back if you lay the seats down.

likeFilled Gerald C.

1. Good performance and fuel usage. 2. Excellent passenger/cargo room. 3. Luxurious cabin. 4. Well insulated interior. 5.I like the accessories that it harbors. 6. Pleasant to the eyes. 7. It holds a good value.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Victor A.

It is definitely the price of the car. BMWs tend to be very expensive and the check up and maintenance costs are also expensive. Specially for small things like for example check the air pressure in the tires.

dislikeFilled Devon W.

I really cannot find anything negative with the car. With the run flats though they are safe, are hard tires and can pop easily on city roads filled with potholes. Though it is a little more money, it is a good idea to invest in the tire insurance that BMW offers.

dislikeFilled Ashley F.

Maintenance can be pricey, and it is a little inconvenient having to use a BMW specific dealer for the maintenance, but otherwise, I have no complaints so far on the vehicle. It has been great to use and meets all the criteria I was looking for.

dislikeFilled Gerald C.

1. Poor rough terrain performance. 2. The engine stop-start feature is unrefined. 3. Lacks standard active safety features. 4. Loses a lot of its value quickly. 5. Repairs are quite costly. 6. Many of the standard updates that come with other vehicles are missing.
