Comfortable daily driver and light duty pickup.
My 2010 dodge Dakota St is a very plain model, yet I think it is a good truck. It is comfortable and rides like a car. The Dakota is mostly reliable except for a rather weak transmission. Avoid any heavy hauling or pulling because the transmission will not perform well and may suffer damage.

Tough truck, great pickup truck.
It is a great pick up. Only minor issues, such as recall for airbags, it was easily fixed. Blown fuse for radio which is the only fuse we've blown and it was easily replaced. It is a tough truck, I just wish I bought the fully loaded version. I highly recommend this vehicle.

A lot of inside room - even in the back section where there are additional seats.
I have only owned it for 2 days and so far I love everything about it. A lot of legroom, smooth ride, good on gas, lots of compliments on the color and the looks of my truck.

Dakota lives on after a few dings.
Tough truck. It has had a few dings and I have had to make no major repairs. Received the truck in 2012 and it had already been put through a lot. I love the manual. Not to many people can drive them anymore and it is very easy to do. Looking for another vehicle but this one will be my favorite.

The Dakota is a great truck.
It is a pretty nice truck overall and for anyone that wants a truck but not the giant truck look then the Dakota is good. It is pretty strong in the winter and holds a lot in the bed. I rebuilt the tranny at 130 thousand miles but that is really for most cars or trucks.

Amazing dodge to own, don't miss out buy a dodge!!
So far no problems. Performance is amazing, picks up speed extremely fast!! Has 4 doors absolutely love. Get ok gas mileage. Heat & air conditioner work amazingly. Very comfortable to ride in, even on long trips. If needed back seat is big enough to lay down on & sleep.

2010 Dodge Dakota is not worth the money.
We bought the truck in 2012 from a used vehicle dealership. After driving it for only two months the transmission became stuck in second gear. We paid eighteen thousand dollars for this truck and the dealership would do nothing to help us. The driver's seat was very uncomfortable and caused my back to hurt. The stereo system is the only good thing about this truck.

Huge helpful truck, I highly recommend.
I really like the big wheels and how huge it is. If you are in a environment with mountains, it'll work really well. It is definitely not a truck for everyone. It is definitely comfortable to an extent. I recommend only if you live in the environment for it.

It's a decent truck for the price, the gas mileage for isn't bad, but it only a 6 cylinder.
It's a 2 door, extended cab, pick up. The back seat area is very small, my grandkids can barely sit back there at the same time.

2010 dodge Dakota!! No real problems!!
This is an alright vehicle. It just has the regular things that need replaced so far. We have had pretty good luck with this so far. No major complaints or problems from it. Other than the driver seat got moved forward and got stuck. Something broke underneath of it.

To summarize my vehicle it is great in rough areas.
I really enjoy my car, it is huge and it gives me an advantage. I think it is a great car. Especially if you like to travel to rough areas. The car can definitely handle the roughness. When I was living in Alabama, it was really great. I think it is the best car for rough areas and not so even roads.

Best truck I have owned to date.
The only problems I've had is a water pump and oil leak around seal at the cooling fan. I've heard this is common on the 4.7 liter after 100,000 miles. It has plenty of power and room for the kids. I have 157,000 miles right now and going strong. I would recommend this truck to anyone.

I do not know of my flaws. I do not like how it gets very little gas mileage and sometimes the heat and air does not work the way I would like it to. Other than that I do not have any issues with my vehicle and I am thankful that it works.

How Reliable Is The 2010 Dodge Dakota?

No everything functions perfectly, holds up well under heavy workloads. Just wish the gas mileage was better but it would probably help if I drove easier.
