2015 Yukon xl Denali. Best vehicle for parents.
This vehicle is amazing for parents with children. It has lots of trunk space. I am able to fit a double stroller, diaper bags, groceries, etc. There is a lot of legroom, even in the back seat for not only children, but adults. It has two DVD screens so everyone can watch the movies. When the vehicle is in park the movie also plays on the large screen in the front of the vehicle. I love the heated steering wheel in the winter. The air conditioned seats are something I never thought I would use, but have absolutely loved every summer. No more pulling your sweaty legs off of the leather in the middle of summer. There is lots of visibility when driving, I like that this vehicle has the option for the seat to vibrate or for the car to beep if you are going over the line into the other lane. The back up camera has an amazing degree range so you can actually see both sides as well as what is behind you. The panel on the back pops off so you can put the hitch on and haul whatever you need to haul. I like that there is a panel to cover it up when the hitch is not in use. I have had zero problems with this vehicle.

A perfect dependable vehicle for large families.
I have 4 children and this car is not only comfortable traveling around town, but has also been great to travel across the country in multiple times. It gets relatively good gas mileage for its size and turns well for the size too. The back up camera and sensors make it really easy to maneuver in city parking lots/spaces. The navigation system is really easy to use. In 4+ years and nearly 65,000 miles, this car has had no issues at all.

Heads up displays show your speed, directions, radio station, w/o looking down.
Love the hood and ac seats. Love the lane assist. Love the interior. We would get the xl if we got a new one in the future.

Led lights are not worth it.
Overall, the Yukon xl is great. We have had issues with the DVD player, but had no warranty because we bought it used. We have the a/c fixed and had to replace tail lights. My only real complaint is that the entire tail light assembly had to be replaced. You cannot just buy a new bulb. Gm replacements cost 600-800 each! We bought aftermarket lights and they were still $300 for the pair.

I love the Denali package. It has all everything that our family enjoys.
I love my Yukon xl. We are a large family of 7, that travel a lot for sports. As well as vacations. It rides really smooth and has lots of legroom for all my kids, as well as storage room for all our luggage. I love the dual DVD player, so m kids could watch 2 different movies if they cannot decide on the same movie.

It pulls a horse trailer great!
Really love this vehicle! I do not have many complaints so far. The headlights had to be replaced because stock were too dim and it does have a blind spot but what SUV does not? It is super comfy and smooth I also pull a horse trailer with it and pulls great!

Love my 2015 GMC Yukon slt AWD.
I love the features in my car. Entertainment center for my kids, heated/air conditioned seats, and the overall look of the car as well. The only issues I have had was a recall for a computer updated, but otherwise no other concerns. I drive a lot for my job and with my kids activities, so having a car that I enjoy driving is great.
accountCircle Kathryn S
It fits my entire family comfortably! We can vacation and everyone plus everyone's stuff fits with no problem.
I love how much room my vehicle has. I like the ease of letting down the seats for more room. I dislike that my window guards are not very sturdy and pop off from time to time.

GMC TRUCK ISSUES
THESE SUVS OR TRUCKS WITH 5.3, 6.0 , 6.2 ENGINES ARE NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH LIFTERS AND GM KNOW IT AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO FIX THIS ISSUE. OWNERS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING THEM SO WHEN YOU HAVE A MECHANICAL PROBLEM YOU DONT GET CAUGHT HAVING A 2 OR 3 THOUSAND DOLLAR INVOICE.

GMC STURTS s**k!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS MY 6 GMC VEHICLE AND 3 OUT OF 6. MY STRUTS WENT. Not cheep to fix. BUT IF I KEPT THE OTHER 3 THE STURTS WOULD OF WENT. LOVE THE GM VEHICLE, BUT ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE...GM DOESN'T, BUT GMC DOESN'T CARE.

Don't buy! Electrical Nightmare!
I love the look of my Yukon Denali, both interior and exterior. I have had numerous electrical issues, to include problems with the transmission, wiring harnesses, AC condenser, battery, and more. The blue tooth has a mind of its own and picks and chooses when and what it wants to sync with. I would not recommend anyone purchase one.

Great Design - Terrible Quality
I love the looks and size of this vehicle. I wanted a large vehicle for a large family + dog and powerful towing capacity. It meets all those marks. Unfortunately, this is my second GMC and quality is garbage. Falls apart after 5-6 years. For a $75,000 vehicle, you would expect better. These aren't small issues. Major repairs: - Lifters/valve springs in engine - Front axle snapped - Front struts seized - Bearing in steering wheel "pops". - Lane departure system shorted out - Automatic Ride Control / leveler - compressor shot - Air Conditioning compressor cracked - Vehicle components/frame rusting like crazy for just 5 years old. These are repairs costing thousands of dollars each, not hundreds. Given this, I'll be forced to leave the brand and buy foreign next time. 2x I've given GMC the benefit of the doubt. They just don't build a quality product.

Great for the family and trips.
Suspension system not up to par. Everything else about the vehicle is fine. Lots of great features. Lots of great safety features. Comfortable ride. Plenty of room for the family. Great for long trips. Not great on gas mileage. Stereo system is very nice. Air conditioning in seats is nice. Heated steering wheel is a nice feature.

Great family car without having to drive a van or suburban.
I like the added comfort and features of this car. However, the front screen, DVD player and back camera have started showing signs of wearing out. We have always taken this vehicle in for regular maintenance and other than computer issues with software the car seems to be running great. This has been a really nice family vehicle.
accountCircle Jennifer H
It is a 4 door, 3rd row seating, spacious SUV.
Well the plus side to my Yukon is the size. I have 4 kids, so if you need space that is your pick. It is very roomy, comfortable riding, and good on gas. But on the downside it is hard to maneuver, being so big and any work /parts we've had to do has been very expensive.

Good vehicle for families:
My 2015 GMC Denali has had several recalls since buying it second hand. The recalls have been issues with computer systems, braking, and engine shifting. I have also had issues with the weather striping coming off of the vehicle. I have also had to have the suspension system replaced. Overall I do like this vehicle due to the comfort of driving and room/space the vehicle has for my family.

Safety features are the best in the business.
Safe features are top-notch. No other vehicle has the safe features like gm/Chevy. The seats are very comfortable and even include a/c seats. The entertainment center is what really seals the deal. With larger SUV's usually comes kids, and no better way the entertain them than with the overhead DVD player. Headliner ac is also offered all the way in 3rd row seating which folds all the way down into the floorboard so you are not compensating any truck space.

I love my GMC Yukon Denali!
Perfect for bigger family, bucket seats for easy in and out for kids. We have had no issues with this car since we have had it. Normal maintenance. Verisafe. Perfect for road trips, gas is way better than expected on the highway. Our car has leather seats and it is a huge relief with super easy clean up.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Renee C.

Love how much room we have for everything when going on trips or going shopping. Can hold a lot of people or children and comfortable too. Handles well in bad weather and snow. We love our vehicle. Would recommend it every time.

likeFilled Lindsey B.

Our Yukon is very large and we love that. We have a large family of 7 and we all fit comfortably. We also love the towing capacity, heated and cooled seats, and ease in accessing the back seats. I also feel very safe driving around in such a large vehicle.

likeFilled Kristie T.

Room for passengers, heated seats, lumbar support, smooth driving, controls at fingertips no need to take eyes off the road, haven't had any mechanical issues thus far, the hidden compartment that can lock if I use valet parking, ability to tow if necessary.

likeFilled Melissa B.

It is got great interior space for carpooling, & it is very convenient that you can easily fold down the back seats. I really love this car. It is nice & feels luxurious, but it is also functional. I do not have any cons except that it is a little expensive.

likeFilled Dorlice B.

Plenty of room for seating or hauling stuff! Children love sitting on the third row seat. I personally like the cup holder spaces in the front and back and several cell phone chargers for our convenience. There is an air conditioner in the front and one for the back row. I love that! The ride is smooth.

likeFilled Becky O.

Yukon xl has extra room needed for travel with 3 children. Bucket seats in back seat make it easy for back row entry and exit. Drives small, as in I do not feel like I am driving a large vehicle. Handling is easy. Extra amenities, sunroof, double DVD, leather interior are a plus.

likeFilled Melissa B.

I like the size & it is very spacious. It is very easy to drive. I like the push button 3rd row seats. It is very pretty & looks slick. It is a very nice looking car. It has great interior space but is still easy to maneuver.

likeFilled Melissa H.

The pros of owning this vehicle are that it is very comfortable, extremely spacious, can haul things, is great for long trips. You can haul a trailer, camper, ect. It is easier to grocery shop because there is plenty of space for your load..

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Renee C.

The only cons I would say is it's expensive to fill up. Other than that we love our vehicle. Really there's nothing I do not like about our vehicle, it's a great car and we love it. We would always recommend it this vehicle. It handles great.

dislikeFilled Lindsey B.

It is not fuel efficient so we spend a painful amount of money on gas each month. We also have to make stops at the gas station more regularly than I would like so I wish the gas tank was larger in addition to greater fuel efficiency. I also wish it had apple carplay. I hate the IntelliLink system it comes with. It is not user friendly and lacks a lot of features I wish it had.

dislikeFilled Kristie T.

The plastic in the sunroof comes off when I retract the window. I have had to reassemble it and I do not understand why they do not use something better. I do not open the sunroof anymore. The third seat is great for kids, but for adults there is no leg room so only used for in city trips for our friends.

dislikeFilled Melissa B.

I cannot think of any cons as far as features go. I do think it is a little too expensive, so it would be hard for the average American family to afford it. Other than that, I love everything about the vehicle.

dislikeFilled Dorlice B.

I really do not have any cons for this vehicle. I like everything about it. I would actually like for our truck to have a video screen that has maps, shows when you backing up and stuff like that. I would like this particular SUV to come in more colors also.

dislikeFilled Becky O.

Do not really have any cons. Love my vehicle. There really is not anything I do not like about the vehicle. That is why I drive this vehicle. I do not have any negative reports to give on my vehicle. I enjoy riding/driving my car.

dislikeFilled Melissa B.

I do not have any cons for my 2015 GMC Yukon slt. It is my favorite car that I have ever had. When the time comes for me to purchase another vehicle, I will probably buy another GMC Yukon. I do not have any negative feedback.

dislikeFilled Melissa H.

I would say that one of the only cons of this vehicle would be the gas mileage. If you do not drive a long distance daily then you tend to use more gas than you would if you drive a distance. Other than this, it is a wonderful vehicle to own.
