2016 Honda CR-V Reviews

I love my Honda CR-V! It drives smooth, breaks feel good, and the acceleration is quick and smooth. I feel very safe in my car. I also love the space and size of the CR-V. The back seats are easy to put down to make extra room and the seats are very comfortable. The only thing I would change is the color I chose. The white exterior color shows everything no matter how many times I wash it. I would definitely buy a CR-V again, just a different color.

I love my CR-V! There are so many pros to this vehicle and some cons. My trim includes leather seats and a sunroof which I love. The seats are comfortable and even despite heavy usage of the vehicle, they show hardly any wear at all. New to me in any vehicles was the feature of heated seats. It is nice and toasty on a winter day and makes a world of difference. Storage capacity is phenomenal, allowing me to easily throw in a couple bikes for our adventures. The seats either fold down or lift and fall completely flat. Both are extremely easy to do one handed which is great for when you have your hands full. The rear camera is very helpful when parking or backing up. It has also helped me to avoid hitting small animals or children. The car is also visually appealing especially when it is washed and waxed. I also enjoy exceptional gas mileage for an SUV. I was impressed. There is the option of eco-boost to help save even more. I use it all the time and don't notice a difference in ability to accelerate. Speaking of which, this vehicle can go! If you need a quick boost to pass a vehicle, this car does not disappoint. My boyfriend and I were very impressed with it. As with all Honda vehicles, this SUV is reliable as can be. There are however a few cons. One is road noise. There are times that a passenger in the back cannot hear the driver, especially on the highway. It does not seem to be attributes just to the tires because noise is still loud with different tires. Another con I have noticed is when going down a hill, it takes a minute for the transmission to downshift so sometimes it revs a bit high. I do notice that if I touch the gas a bit, it will regulate and downshift properly. All in all, I highly recommend this vehicle. My last vehicle was a CR-V and this one exceeded my expectations which only makes me look forward to my next CR-V even more!

It picks up really great. It is spacious. It is quite reliable. Battery & tires wore out very quickly though. Has a lot of features to love. It did not disappoint. Some of the features it has - sunroof/moonroof, child lock. The Honda CR-V hits right at the heart of many buyers’ needs: comfortable, spacious, quiet, and efficient. With a newly standard turbo engine, good base features, and standard active safety features across the board, any CR-V is a good deal.

Honda cr v's are a very reliable and safe vehicle which is the main reason I chose to purchase it. I also like the look of the vehicle, which does matter to me if I am going to spend a significant amount of money on it. I have a young family and we often go on long weekend trips, so the large trunk, with the screen to cover our things comes in handy a lot. Other features I enjoy are my moon roof, the back up camera and the right turn camera, the phone connect function and the display is generally user friendly. It is very nice to have a dependable and safe family vehicle. We love it.

The Honda CR-V is a compact crossover SUV that is space-efficient, fuel-efficient and comfortable. So it is exceptional fuel economy compared to other crossovers. Plenty of adult-sized room in both seating rows also back seat easily fold. More cargo capacity than most rivals. Appealing roster of tech and safety features. No available engine upgrade. Touchscreen interface can be unintuitive and lacks separate volume and tuning knobs. Some interior materials look and feel cheap.

My Honda CR-V is really nice to drive. I am upset though that I did not get the leather seat package because now my cloth seats are stained from my grandkids eating in my car. It is really good on gas. On average, I would say, I get around 28 miles per gallon. On the highway though of course I probably get around 32 miles to a gallon. I bought it with like fifteen thousand miles on it and I drive a lot so I probably put almost eighteen thousand miles on my car each year. This is my first SUV and I am very satisfied with it. The cruise control keeps it is speed. I travel long distances at times and I go through mountains and the cruise control hold its own very well.

This is a really great car. Traction control is next to perfect. Excellent as it relates to space if you have a huge family. Speed is another aspect that goes a long way. For the price, luxury is top notch. Interior clean; however, seating material gets messy real quick and would be a challenge if you have young kids. The Bluetooth option is ideal for driving and the vehicle carries a lot of compartments from storing as small as a pin to an anchor. For a station wagon, trunk space is perfect for carriage of stuff. Reverse camera is also excellent especially for a starter or young driver. Seats are really relaxing and comfortable in the sense that it literally hugs you upon sitting. Ac vent in back seat which helps to filter air separate from in the front seat. Adequate cup holders for every passenger. This vehicle is next to perfect and any upgrade would only be to a newer version because I will not change the brand. Just one singular flaw observed from my experience driving this type of vehicle. I would encourage anyone to select this for a first time owning a vehicle to the last eat model for diversification.

I truly enjoy driving my Honda CR-V lx. I previously leased a ford escape and it did not feel like it drove well and the turn radius was awful. My CR-V is fun and easy to drive, turns great, and is easy to park in the tight spaces at my apartment complex. It is the perfect size so that I feel safer than when I am in a small car but is still comfortable to drive. I also think it is one of the best looking SUVs out there because it is sportier than most. The seats are easy to flip down and there's plenty of space in the trunk and backseat. It is nice knowing my large dog can ride comfortably in the back on longer trips. I truly cannot say enough good things about this vehicle and I will be a Honda driver for life.

I have had very minimal issues with my 2016 Honda CR-V. I absolutely love this car, as it is safe, comfortable, a great size and has very modern features that make using the car exciting. With my Honda CR-V, I have had only issues relating to weather. For example, super cold, the car has a slight delay but then all is fine. What I love about the Honda CR-V is its hands free feature, so making calls and getting notifications is done in the safest most effective way.

I have had my Honda CR-V EX for 2 1/2 years. It has been extremely reliable. The first few months of driving it I wasn't sure I liked it as much as my previous car. The seatbelt position seemed strange, the mileage wasn't as good (I usually get about 26 in the Honda vs. 30 in my previous car). There is an ecoboost button that doesn't seem to improve the mileage for me. But now I appreciate its roominess and solidity. By that I mean that it feels safe on the road. There's enough room for my son's hockey equipment and/or lots of groceries, both of which I seem to be driving around a lot. The heated seats are very comfortable in the winter, and the air conditioning works well in the summer. The sun and moon roof I don't use much, but my sons like to open them up sometimes. I don't use the cruise control, but my husband likes to when he drives. The features I like the best are the back up camera and the right hand camera, both of which have helped me avoid accidents.

Gas mileage is average for this size vehicle but it can be improved by using the econ button and cruise control. It has a good sound system, it handles well especially for its size. It is easy to turn easy to park. I really learned to enjoy the backup camera especially in parking lots. I wish the backseat had a little bit more leg room. My daughter's feet are very close to the front seat when she's in her car seat. It has a great deal of trunk space however and I like the shade that you can pull over the trunk space.

I really like my vehicle but if I could go back I would have spent a little more to get exactly what I wanted. My thought process when purchasing was to include a smaller SUV that was a little higher off the ground than my former Sudan that I owned previously that had good safety ratings and would be good on gas.Overall, I got what I wanted. However, I like to travel and have found my vehicle is not the most comfortable for that purpose. The interior is very reasonable for daily commute but after a longer period of time it just feels like cheap material dressed in quality fabric that does not make you want to travel very far. Because the vehicle is compact, parking is easy and great. Storage space is not an issue, the trunk area is spacious but when traveling more than a daily commute, leg space can be an issue. I often travel with my parents and my dad is 6'2' and his knees hit the glove compartment with the seat pushed back as far as it will go. This has created travel issues but overall I am satisfied. I didn't purchase with comfortable in mind as affordability and dependability was priority.

I love my Honda, CR-V. I owned one prior to this newer model and still own and operate it on occasion. Honda has a great reputation and their vehicles will last for a long time as long as you do the maintenance to keep it going. The newer model actually tells you when it time for your oil change or you need air in your tires, etc. I find these reminders very helpful as it's so easy to forget about keeping track yourself. The CR-V offers plenty of room and has space to carry groceries, beach toys, musical instruments even a wheelchair. You can also lower the back seat and it will give you even more room. All in all Honda is a great vehicle and definitely worth the purchase price.
