There was a recall on the 2015 Hyundai Veloster. The connecting rod in some of the cars is faulty. It makes a knocking/pinging noise. If the engine is found to have this issue, Hyundai has to replace the engine. If you had this issue, but were not aware of the recall, Hyundai may be responsible for reimbursing you.

Extremely reliable. Sporty feel for a cheap price. Rspec trim has red leather seats. Electronics are simple but very nice. Ease of use. Six speed manual transmission. 3 door vehicle. Only downside is a low ceiling in the back. Uncomfortable for tall passengers. Would buy this car again. Lots of fun and enough power to play around with.

Veloster turbo 2015 quick look.
Funky stylish look. Huge trunk space. Engine is somewhat peppy for its small size. Handling is good. Suspension is stuff so you will feel every pothole or rock. Performs decent in snow for a small eco car as well. Gas mileage is good. For the price it comes with a decent amount of features.

Hyundai Veloster - the coolest 3 door car!
My vehicle is small, but perfect for one person. I have dogs and they can easily go places with me they stay in the back. The car is a 3 door car, so I find that easier when I am letting my dogs out of the car. I have not had any mechanical problems with my car. It is good on gas and rides good. I have taken many road trips in my car and even though it is small, it is perfect for me and all my luggage and trust me, I overpack!

Hyundai Veloster: a unique, sporty reliable vehicle.
This vehicle fits a unique niche in that it is more sporty than the average commuter car, but more of a daily driver than the average sport or muscle car. It is been a fun and reliable car for me, I daily drive it to work and enjoy how unique it is. Great for anyone looking for a car that's sporty but not unreasonable.
Reliable, good on gas, and cool look. Haven't had any problems with it, its at 80k miles. Cannot beat the Hyundai warranty. Great starter car, but buyer beware of lackluster engine.
Runs very smooth. Decent gas mileage. Not as quick as it appears from appearance. No trunk button in the inside of the car which is very annoying especially in the cold months. Overall a great starter car for younger people. Like most smaller cars it does terrible in the snow/ice. 8/10.

I like that it has the push to start and heated seats. I love the backup camera.
I do not have any problems out of my vehicle. I am a single mother and it is too small for my child. But overall it is a good vehicle. I have never had any mechanical problems with it. The only thing I have had to do is replace the battery and keep the oil changed.

Functional car in a hot body!
I love the gas mileage and the back seat space. The third door allows my children to get in and out safely without awkwardly climbing behind front seats. Also, the trunk area is large enough for multiple needs. Finally, all of this function is inside a very attractive package! There is some engine lag occasionally and the body creates some blind spots. I haven't solved the lag but spot mirrors reduce the blind spots. It is a great little car!

It's a sports car without the sports car price...
When I purchased my Veloster Turbo, I did not realize it was a sportscar of sorts. Her performance has often times shocked me. On several occasions, I have been able to avoid serious accidents because of her quick. In one instance, she actually saved my life. She accelerates smoothly and corners beautifully. She's s**y as Ice (silver with a black leather interior) and I am more than satisfied with her fuel usage. Long winding roads are our favorites! I use the eco mode but on special drives, I let her go full turbo in sports mode. Having remote options available via satellite means I don't have to be near her in order to start her engine or unlock the doors. That is a feature I love, but you have to pay for it through the Blue Link application. But all in all, I love my car!

My own personal hot wheel.
I have had my car for a few years. O really likes The design of the car before I got it. I really like it is only 3 doors and a type of hatchback. It can be switched between automatic and standard. The sunroof is a nice feature. Before I received this car as a gift, I wanted it to come with a CD player which this model does not. It also has a very small back seat... I have had a few passengers hit their head getting in. So I stopped using as a group car and basically only use to go to and from work and or when I am traveling solo.

Love car for me & up to 2 passengers.
I love my car for me and maybe two other passengers but when you try to get 4 people in my car it becomes more challenging. Having 3 doors is definitely great as opposed to 2 but that 4th person always has to crawl across the back through the 3rd door to get to the seat behind the driver. That is the only downfall. I have the turbo version, so definitely love the pick up and power of my car. It is very comfortable to drive and maneuver. I also opted for a sunroof which I also really enjoy.

Fun, but has its ups and downs.
It is fun to drive, and good on gas. It can be hard to view out of the rear window so it will take some getting used to. Also, the engine loses power randomly which can be frightening. It is really nice looking and fun. It has most of the interior necessities like a USB port, power locks and windows, but not as updated as others cars of the same year.

Veloster is a great first car for a new and upcoming driver.
Runs well, parts are sometimes hard to find. Engine is covered by plastic cages which makes it harder to see things. Headlights are easy to replace and the interior is very easy to clean. I love driving this car for long trips because it is very comfortable and good on gas.

Aftermarket 2015 Veloster turbo.
A Hyundai Veloster is a great cross between comfort, reliability, and performance. But it is most definitely not considered a sports car, if you want a quick light car that you can throw in and out of corners then the Veloster is for you, if you are looking for raw straight line horsepower then I'd look elsewhere. The aftermarket for these cars is actually surprisingly good but the engines are not built to crank out crazy horsepower not without putting money into rebuilding the whole motor. But for someone who's looking for something quick and reliable the Veloster turbo would be one of my top recommendations.

It is a great hot hatch for daily and to build. Has decent space if you are looking for a practical sports car this is a great choice. The car is quick and feels amazing. No corners have been cut when making this car. The 1.6l turbo engine sounds amazing for a little stock hatchback I would recommend this car to anyone.

Reliable, fast, fun car to drive!
I love my Hyundai Veloster! It is a turbo so it is very fast so be careful with your speed! It has a unique 3 door design, which is actually why I bought the car! It is a hatchback so I have lots of trunk space! It is reliable as long as you properly maintain it! It is good on gas! My only negative is that it is not a very big car so obviously not a good choice for a big family or parents with little children. The hatchback/tinier back seat makes it hard for children in car seats. Not that it cannot be done but it is not as easy to maneuver as a minivan! But overall I love my car!

Everything about my vehicle is interesting.
I feel that the car is too low and too tiny. Sometimes it causes back pain or for people to hit their head on the top of the door. But despite that, I feel that it is a very reliable and has great gas mileage. Other than that I also like the color of the car considering that it was fixed.

Heads up into my ownership of a 2015 Black Turbo
I have a 2015 Black Turbo ,when I picked up the car I hadn't noticed the bottom of the drivers and passengers front doors. They looked like they were dented even though they were smooth? They looked rippled in the sunlight. I thought I could live with it but couldn't in the end SO I had Hyundai fix it under warranty ( they did a good job) . Now my car is a 2015 with just under 30,000 miles on it. I've had the A/C switch replaced for the fan , the passenger interior light ( which I never used) wouldn't click on or off( whole esembley replaced) the rear veiw camera somehow went cloudy in the screen? ( Replaced) and the one that's really starting too p**s me off is as of writing this I'm waiting for my 3rd yes 3rd rear hatch switch/ leaver that when you push the button it disappears?into the hatch and the hatch won't open. Talked to the Hyundai Tec and he admitted the switch is a c**p design/ quality. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE this little car and all this has been over 5 years BUT this hatch switch is a known thing ( just look it up on the internet. So much so I just saw a advert for a new Veloster and they have relocated the switch too just under the rear wash wiper. Thing is I like the older Veloster because the new one body has been redesigned and lost it's aggressive looks of the older model.

Watch for bumps in the road because the vehicle does sit low. And never slam on the brakes, they may not work properly.
My car gets great gas mileage (35 mpg). I always feel like I'm in a sports car. The seats sit low and they hug you. The ride is a wee bit bumpy but handles great.

My vehicle is interesting it is an economic vehicle, but it is also a dual. Clutch.
There are no issues with my vehicle, it runs really well and the only complaint I have is that the clock does not seem to want to stick to the correct time. One day it’ll be the correct time and in a two week period my clock is behind by 10 minutes and increases as time goes on.

Not a BAD CAR, so to speak.
I like my Veloster! Its quick, handles great and is awesome on gas! That said...The ONLY problems I have with them is the "quality, for the price". It is MOSTLY plastic. And not "High quality plastic" eithe! ALL of the body panels are held on(at some point) by a PLASTIC CLIP! Aswell as trim, handles, grill, etc. ONE BUMP & "CRACK!!". And if you damage the rear, it's gonna cost. Because the roof and sides are all one piece. The paint is mediocre and is very prone to chip in the front hood, because of it's "Bullnose". I recommend paint protection film, on IT especially! The are also VERY PRONE to rust under the rear window!! So keep an eye open!! But I guess EVERYTHING is cheaper and plastic now days.

The performance of this car is amazing I love the turbo. It's very comfortable with the leather heated seats and love the room for such a small car. The features are amazing. Love my backup camera and my heated seats and the iPod function of the car. The only problem I have had so far it the air conditioner switch is hard to get it into position 4 to make it kick on. If you turn it too far the air will shut off. Besides that the car is a very fun driving car.

2015 Hyundai Veloster car review
Car is sleek, stylish and economic to drive. Great on gas, especially highway. I have around 40,000 miles on my car and have not had any issues on it. Handles very well, easy to maneuver when driving. The review camera is amazing, though it does spaz out sometimes if it is very dark (no rear lights).

It has a smooth ride, nice seats. Trunk is spacious and backseat can go down to make more room. Compact but still feels like there is enough space to stretch legs up front. Really great on gas. For a first car, I recommend it!
Well, when I bought this vehicle last year(2019), the air conditioner was broken. And since I live in Arizona, it was horrible because the car is black also. But overall the miles are good, and car maintenance does not cost a lot. The only expensive thing to it was the brake service. To renew my frontal and back brakes, it came out at a total of $350.

My Hyundai Veloster is amazing on gas and it's extremely comfortable. But something that I do not like about it is, the 2015 model unfortunately is louder when it shifts from gears and when you are driving slower around traffic. It makes a loud clanking noise and it does it when you reverse as well.

One negative is the length of the driver's door.
Love the car - torque-y and quick. Does have some issues in snow and ice due to its lightweight. Front leaves enough room for any size passenger but anyone above about 5'10 should avoid sitting in the backseat due to limited leg room. Have had no problem with servicing but have only had it serviced at dealership. There was one recall for a sensor that was fixed quickly.

I really enjoy driving the Veloster.
The car is very fun to drive although in the rain the vehicle is not heavy enough to prevent the car from hydroplaning. The braking is more responsive than in any other vehicle I have driven, although I believe that is normal for all Hyundai's. The matte color is also difficult to maintain.

The only problem with my main vehicle is that it has absolutely no pick up whatsoever. Trying to get onto a highway or a situation that needs to get out of the way quickly, you are unable too. That is going to get someone killed, if it has not already.

I like the size of the vehicle, especially how easy it is to drive around the city and find parking. I like the speed and acceleration the car gets. But i dislike the size, even though i like how it's easy to drive around the city i would like more space for passengers but it's something i gave up so i really have no complaints
This is a 3 door car which is convenient for the driver and the passengers. It gives you the big easy to enter door for the driver and the back door for the passengers that way no one is pushing their seat forward

This low to the ground car has one of the smoothest rides I have ever experienced in such a close to the ground ride. The compact inside is actually more roomy than you would think it is not a family care but can comfortably fit a passenger or two. The 3rd door comes in super handy for accessing the back seat which is roomy despite the fact it seems like a small space. The gas mileage is wonderful and the companies warranties cannot be stopped. A great car.

They always blow out and I have to replace each time. I really enjoy the seats which are made out of leather. The fronts seats are very sport and hold you tight.

Reliable car but has transmission problems, getting stuck in between gears and has battery issues. Starting and stopping, very touchy brakes and easily breakable mirrors. Other than that I haven't really seen anything wrong with the car. It gets great mileage at 44 mpg and that can last me up to 2 weeks of driving.

The reliability of this vehicle could be better. Considering there is only 50k miles and I am the first owner. I had to replace the battery at 20k miles, two check engine lights for the same issue replaced both times, and the rear brakes constantly make strange noises when applying on downward hills, and the pads, rotors, and calipers are fine. Otherwise I do love driving it.

I like that this car has really good gas mileage about 34 mpg. I also like that it's small and can fit in smaller parking spots and down narrow roads. I enjoy the 3 doors because it allows easy access to the back but is still compact. I don't like that the car has no horsepower. I feel like it takes me forever to pick up speed. I have a Manual and it feels like I take forever to get from 0 mph up. Going up hills is a struggle and it can't stand even the tiniest bit of ice or snow. Definitely not made for any kind conditions other than perfect paved roads

Veloster- does what it needs to do.
Vehicle is reliable but it does not ride smooth. When you are pulling off, it can be very rough. There is a definite jerk within the first 5 seconds of pulling off. It is very irritating. Also, within a month of getting the car, I had a mechanical issue with the trunk.

The gas mileage on this car is excellent. However the air quality from the AC is making a rattling noise that does not sound good. I also like the custom color of the car. The car is a nice firetruck red and it is different from a traditional red car. I also like the design of the car. It has 3 doors opposed to 2. It can model as a sports car or family car. However I typically tell people it is a sports car because of the 3 doors. Another thing I like about this vehicle is its Bluetooth feature.

Small, compact car with plenty of room, economic and sleek.
I just absolutely adore this car. I love seeing it in the parking lot as I walk up to it - the design is perfect, I am all about hatchbacks. It is also very powerful - I live in the mountains and it zooms right up the highways. As far as comfort, no complaints! I also love that it is unique - 3 doors and that instead of a middle seat in the back, there are cup holders. I have a six year-old so as a 'family' car, it totally suffices. And how about the gas mileage!?!? I fill it up then do not have to worry about it for maybe two weeks, even in the mountain terrain. Great trunk space, great space in general. Love it and will get another one when it is time!!

Best feature on this car is the rear view camera perfect for parallel parking.
This car is perfect, great on gas, reliable, easy to find parts for repair and seats passengers comfortably. Comes preloaded with pioneer sound system and moonroof. 0-60 in about 4 seconds. Front axle drive allows for better steering and control, also comes with factory rear view camera.
