Well built and solid. Even with 100k miles and 11 years old, no squeaks or rattles. Rides well. Sound system is superb. Gets decent gas mileage around town and good mileage on the highways. Is large enough to haul a good deal of items.
This car is nice because it has 3 rows of seating and had held up relatively well for over 10 years. We have had some battery issues with the car and the remote hatch stopped working but was not covered by warranty.
Being a large SUV, not as nimble as I would like. Back up camera is not very good. Actually runs better on premium gas versus lower octane, so is a bit more expensive to run. Beyond that, have not had any problems with it or other complaints.
Battery issues and remote hatch stopped working and wasn't covered by warranty. This vehicle does not get great gas mileage. Also is a little noisy on the highway. We wanted to get the car in black but they did not make this color when we were buying our car.
The 2009 Hyundai Veracruz has an average owner rating of 4.50 out of 5 which ranks it #6 of 25 other Midsize SUVs.
