Family friendly luxury SUV
We absolutely love this car! I had third row seating than can taken out fully or partly which has come in handy with three boys under the age of 6, DVD players in the headrests have been life savers on longer drives, it drives smoothly, looks sleek, handles beautifully, has a rear camera and sunroof both of which have been fantastic! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an SUV.

Amazing brand of vehicle that will last a lifetime
This vehicle is very reliable. It had great safety features, anti theft system, child and window locks. It also has a third row and seats up to seven people. It has a v 8 engine and had off road capabilities. The only thing that has had to be repaired on this car is the shock system and alternator. Other than that, there have been no other issues. Keeping up with the scheduled maintenance is key. This car will last a lifetime if it is taken care of properly. It is a great family vehicle. Anyone who drives this car will feel safe. The interior is leather with wood grain, has multiple cup holders and compartments for storage. This is a very reliable car that anyone would feel safe and comfortable riding in.

I like the all time 4 wheel drive.
It is a great vehicle. Only problem I have had is with a leaky radiator. The font passenger does not have enough adjustment, so it sits too high and to close. Other than that, it has been a great vehicle and I will highly consider this model the next time I purchase a vehicle.

My Lexus has been so reliable!
I love my Lexus GX 470!! It has been so reliable! I've taken it on many road trips and traveled with it for work! It's comfortable and easy to drive! Besides routine maintenance I have never had any issues with it! I would recommend this SUV highly!!

Luxury vehicles are well worth the price. My Lexus is older, but still going strong.
I ADORE this SUV. I've never had a luxury care before, and I won't go back. It's comfortable, rides like a dream, and is powerful. Only complaint I have is my CD player is on the fritz.

Review of 2008 Lexus gx470.
A great classic SUV. Rugged yet luxurious and quiet. Beautifully put together with no squeaks or rattles. Tows 6500 pounds. Drives like a lifted Lexus ls sedan even though it is on a truck based platform. Three seats are comfortable and the visibility is excellent with no blind spots. Plenty of cargo room. The engine is smooth, quiet, and reliable. Ergonomics are spot on. Surprised at how well this SUV handles despite being a tall l vehicle with a high center of gravity. Gas mileage could be better and the tailgate design is not ideal.

Great car for mom transporting kids around!
The brakes can be squeaky, the seat heaters no longer work, but it is in great condition and has over 150, 000 miles and is still in great condition. I would like it if it was a newer version with push to start, automatic start before getting in the car, and cooling seats as well.

It is black and her name is Lola. I have had her for about 4 years.
At first it was a great car, but over the years it began to have many issues such as terrible problems with suspension and it started breaking down a bunch. The reliability is not good whatsoever and I often feel quite unsafe in my vehicle. It is very sleek and nice and has great leather seats, but the appearance might be its best feature. It also makes very loud and irritating noises every time I turn on the air conditioner which is quite embarrassing. I would not recommend this vehicle unless it is the new model because it gets very unreliable the longer you drive it.

Pros and cons of a Lexus gx470.
Nice smooth ride. It does have expensive maintenance. It has nice interior, however it has worn rather quickly. The stereo system is fine, but I do not like the navigation system as it became dated very quickly and very expensive to update. Also, I do believe it is odd to have a tape deck in a car. I like the roominess of the seats but do not like that way the back door opens sideways instead of up. This can be very difficult in parking situations.

Great ride great features leather holds value GPS third row seat 8 cylinder power windows fog lights. Easy features. Lexus provides great survive. Full cabin air conditioning. Tinted glass SiriusXM. Bluetooth.

Not very good gas mileage. CD player in glove box. No blue to for phone music. GPS is not updated. No auto bright lights, no next lane vehicle sensor. Light lens fog. Headlamps burn out too often. Wheels chipped.
