Even though it's a very small car it is quite spacious inside.
It is older and not smooth at all but it does get you point from point A to point B. Gas is average as well.

It's an incredibly comfortable and reliable car for the price.
I love my Mazda! It's been a reliable little car. I like how much it cost, its gas mileage, and comfortable ride. I wish it had a little more zip.

This car lasts a long time.
I like that my car is compact and easy to park and drive. It is roomy enough inside for myself and passengers. I dislike that it has electrical problems that cause the battery to die.

This was a second hand car, we helped out a friend. We like the car. It is extremely reliable. Good gas mileage.It is very dependable. We have had to do some repairs but mostly just maintenance. We love in a in a country setting and have been quite surprised at how well this car has done. We drive it like a truck and have been pleased with how awesome it has done on dirt roads and gravel hills.

Mazda. It is very dependable and reliable. No problems with car.
Our car is a compact, purchased new in 2000. It is a 4 cylinder having plenty of get up and go. Averages twenty six miles in town and thirty two miles highway mileage. It is very easy and comfortable to drive and ride on short or long trips. The car only has seventy nine thousand miles on the speedometer. The speedometer reads that it will go up to one hundred twenty miles an hour. I would recommend staying within the speed limit. It has been a very reliable and dependable car. It is four doors making it easy to get into the car. It is white in color. It could use a new paint job because the paint is starting to chip on the hood. The inside of the car is beige and has been taken very good care of having no tears in the fabric. We are the owners of the car and have regular oil changes and filter replaced every three thousand miles. It burns no oil. The motor and transmission is in excellent conditioned.

Has an issue with body rust forming in the back wheel panels. Common for this model. Doesn't seem to take bumps well, other than those issues great car.
It is decent on gas and decent looking. I live in the city and it is easy to park. I also don't need to worry about parking it in a bad area. It blends in well.

That it's old and isn't going to last much longer.
I like that it didn't cost me too much and that I don't have to put gas in it too often. I don't like that it's old and about to fall apart.

Still runs great! This has been one of the best cars I have owned.
It has been a great car with very few issues. It is 18 years old and the only problems really are the electrical. The stereo does not work anymore, issues with the driver's window rolling up/down, and driver's side lock. We haven't had any problems really with the engine or performance issues at all.

Great car! Buy a Mazda! Love it!
My Mazda protege has been a great car. It is a manual and that is one feature I really love. We bought it used back in 2004 and have maintained it pretty well over the years but it is a 20 year old car so we've replaced the clutch, the timing belt, and the catalytic converter in the time we've had it.

Just smoke summary of 2000 Mazda protege
It's a great car. Great on gas. Haven't really had any problems. I have kept all upkeep on it. So still runs great. Only thing that's ever given a problem is a small oil leak but that was a super easy fix. I usually get about 28 miles to the gallon on gas

Best car I have ever had.
I have had this cat for almost 10 years. It has never gave me a problem other than normal minor maintenance. Great acceleration and very easy on gas.

My Mazda has been very dependable and is driven daily.
My Mazda has almost three hundred thousand miles and still going strong. It has out ran any other car that I have ever had. All though it is not the prettiest thing to look out it has been very dependable for me.

Three hundred thousand miles and still kicking.
My 2000 Mazda protege has been very reliable. It has almost three hundred thousand miles on it now. It is my daily driver. I have only had to do routine maintenance and upkeep on it. I see it still lasting for a pretty long time. I am very satisfied with my Mazda protege.

Very economical daily commuter car.
My car has always been very dependable and cheap on gas. I've done very few repairs on it. We keep on the maintenance of the vehicle. Oil changes, tune ups, tire rotation. I feel very safe driving my Mazda protege. I would like to trade it in and get a vehicle with automatic transmission.

It features a 5 speed manual transmission, making it much more difficult to steal.
Being an older vehicle, I love that it is easy to perform maintenance and/or repairs compared to new vehicles. Also, it is a manual transmission which is the only way to drive and increasingly difficult to find when shipping for a car. Lastly, I was able to install a custom sound system with little trouble.

Dependable, compact 4dr sedan with rear seat that folds down if you need to carry something long or larger. I keep it maintained & it has been great - except now in Ohio it has rust issues.
Turned in my leased Mazda 626 & given offer to buy my Protege on the showroom floor, sold. Best car - only has 72,700mi it's a 2000. Unfortunately bought it when I lived in FLA - Delray Mazda & moved back to Ohio terrible winters - RUST is it's only issue.

This car has great gas mileage.
Good on gas, cheap to fix, easy to find parking if you live in a city. Very reliable and has very few or no problems at all. Has heat and air, power windows and locks. Has an alarm system. Good trunk space. Drives good on the highway. Gets about 25 miles to the gallon.

This is the car I trust to transport my 3 children everyday.
Mazda is a reliable brand. The car that I own is pretty old but perform well. Compact size makes it easier to find a parking space in a city. Spare parts are easy to find and not expensive, so it would not cost much if need some repairs.

I've had the car for 18 years and it's still working well for me. It's comfortable and gets me where I need to go. I did have to replace the transmission once and there have been some other repairs, but I'm happy to keep driving it until it completely dies.

It is easy on gas and very dependable.
It has good gas mileage, easy to drive, very dependable, could be more comfortable seating. Very little maintenance upkeep. Painting could have been better. Wear windshield wipers every year. Could have been a larger car and been more comfortable. Has a large trunk where there is no problem carrying many things.

It is simple and economical and that was what I was looking for in a car
The car is very good with gas usage. It is pretty comfortable for a small car with a pretty roomy interior. However, it is not a very reliable car. I do not drive too much but have already replaced the timing belt. The CD player broke too.

Good first car for your teenager~.
It's a good first car. I use it for school and work. Runs well but I have found that this car does have issues crop up more often than I expected. We had to replace the transmission and computer at one point. I think it would be a good car for a teenager cause its older, you don't have to worry as much about if they get in a fender bender or something. The car itself is sturdy and responds quickly. I've hit my brakes going 40mph to a total stop to avoid hitting a dog or a cat. It has great response.

It has lasted nearly twenty years and counting. It is one of the best cars I have ever had. And I would further say it is one of the best cars that has ever been made period. Now I might get some push back because of this statement, but I stand by that statement.
I like that I've had it almost twenty years and it's still running as good as ever. What I don't like about it it's not stylish enough for me.

It is a very dependable car.
It has been a fairly reliable vehicle. I have only had only the basic problems with wear and tear on a vehicle, such as brakes, muffler work and oil changes. The car is a stick shift which I really love because it helps with gas mileage. It is also a four cylinder which helps with gas mileage too.

That it's still running and getting good mileage after all these years.
Gets good mileage. Like the fact that there is a cd player and a cassette. Still going after 150,000 miles. No complaints.
