The Mirage is very fuel efficient- a full tank lasts me nearly a week and a half! It is also great for city driving- I fit into lots of spaces very easily. It also handles very well and has a lot more space than you'd think!
I do not drive it, as it is my spouse's car. I was, however, involved in the car buying process. We chose it because of its good price, low mileage, and really wonderful gas mileage. It is a great car for commuting.
It gets good gas mileage and is small and compact. It can be parked just about anywhere. It was quite affordable. I am on a fixed income, and it was in my budget range. I looked at a lot of cars before I chose this one.
It has very good gas mileage. For being a tiny vehicle, it surprisingly has quite a bit of room for my family of 4, and is great for errands around town. We've yet to take it on a road trip, but I am betting it will do great!
The pros is that it is an economy car so it saves on gas. Another pro is that it is a basic model so you would not have to deal with a lot of technical issues. The fuel is gasoline and there is low emission.
It does not do well in extreme weather. High winds definitely push you around quite a bit and it does not do very well in snow. I also am having a hard time with the hatchback- it's nice to load and unload, but people like to get right up against the flat back end when I am driving.
Due to how small of a sedan it is, it is not convenient for moving or hauling any large items, there's not much legroom if you are a taller person, and it does not handle super well in the snow. It is really crowded if you put three people in the backseat.
It is only bare bones. It does not have cruise control, armrest or automatic headlights. If I ever can afford another vehicle, I will be more selective in the items I need in a car.. It is also a death trap in an accident.
While it maintains speed well once I actually manage to get to the speed limit, it is not exactly fast on building up speed. I do tend to get passed quite a bit when getting up to speed by impatient drivers.
The con to this vehicle is that because it is an economy car the car only goes so fast. Another con is that the car is lightweight so whenever the wind blows the car moves. Another con for me is the monthly payment is expensive $325 a month.
