The performance tires were fun but wore out quickly.
My scion tc is very reliable. I have had no problems or major repairs in five years. My model has a roll bar under the hood which really helps when making a sharp turn.

Gray car. Two door. Pretty cool.
My vehicle has not been giving me many problems. It is old now, but thankfully it is running good. It is a two door car and I recommend buying this car if you do not have a family. Sometimes I regret not having a 4 door car. Besides that, it is pretty good.

Exceptional where it counts.
My scion tic is extraordinarily reliable. I love the pioneer sound system and the double wishbone suspension on the back. The interior feels a bit cheap and if the music is loud, some knobs rattle. The sunroof is great but the cover to close it seems flimsy and cheap.

I like how you can use the car as manual and automatic.
I love my car because it has a sunroof. As time goes by the gas pedal and brake become very sensitive. The steering wheel is also very sensitive as well. You get use to it after awhile. It is very comfortable, when you are driving short distance. Does need servicing often due to the brakes.

The scion tc is a great car.
Awesome car for a young person. Great speaker system and decently fast. Only issue I have had with the car is the drivers side door develops a rattle when playing music at mid to high volumes. This is something I have seen happen a lot and it is a super easy 5 minute fix.

Regarding safety you may want to shop around as it is almost all glass.
I love manual transmission but really dislike driving my car in traffic. I love that I can fill my tank with 35 dollars but it needs to be filled pretty constantly. It is a low maintenance vehicle and is low cost sports car. I love it.

Scion tc are perfect cars for first time drivers.
I have had no problems with my car so far. The only problems have been replacement battery and oil changes which is normal. I drive a stick shift and I really enjoy it. The hatchback is very nice. It allows me to drop the back seats and have plenty of room. The seats are all very nice. They are a unique shape that is very comfortable. The speakers are nice as well. I was able to get a sub thanks to the big trunk space. I like how the car is front wheel drive and stick shift. It makes me feel like I have more control when I am on the road. I never feel my car slip on hard turns. I have never had a problem with hydroplaning. One thing that I do notice is that high winds tend to push my car around a little bit but it is not bad at all.

Handle very well zigzag road.
This model do not exist anymore they stop doing it. I love this car, mine is with shift gear handle very well the road on snow, ice. I can do 6 times 78 miles, this model is a sport car, why I like it first I do not sleep when I drive, handle back road on zigzag very well, very comfortable for a sport car also my car has 6 gear that was a little different when u are used to 5 but I do love it. This car can be purchase but not new but used.

They no longer make scions and that is because they were poorly built vehicles.
It is made of plastic. It always breaks down. I did not get what I wanted from the dealer.
accountCircle Vanessa V
It has great driving and smooth turns love the sunroof.
Too low and you feel every bump also it is loud. I do not like the car as much as I hoped I would. I have had a lot of problems with the key getting stuck in the ignition and if you park it a certain way turning the key over can be an issue. Gas mileage is good.

Scion tc year 2013 review.
The door plastic rattles when the music is turned up too loud. I like that the car has been reliable and has not had any major problems. I like how big the back seat is so it is not like a typical two door car with a tiny backseat. I like how big the windows are but I do not like that when I move the shade towards the window to block the sun it is too short to block. I have to extend the mirror cover to get semi coverage. The way the car is set up is like lego pieces with clips so it makes it kind of cheap feeling and can be annoying when the clips break.

Drives fast, handles ok, overall a pretty decent car
Overall a good car for the price. It has some issues, including the coolant light staying on, it drives like a plastic car and is very loud

Scion tc review from a first car owner.
Good vehicle for the gas mileage. I wish it had more space. My tc has over 120, 000 miles on it and has done well. Great little start up car. Aftermarket parts are very easy to find so you can customize your vehicle. I would purchase again as my first vehicle.

The hatchback makes the car.
I loved my car when I first purchased it. It is sleek and fun. The lower engine cover is easily ripped off and the front bumper is not very secure. The blind spots are everywhere and the gas mileage is very poor. The stereo is great but the comfort of having a two door is not good especially when having kids.

Scion tC a great first car
The sound system the car comes with is amazing quality and you can feel the music. It is a very spacious car even though it looks small. The gas mileage is mediocre, but it is not terrible. The engine seems to have issues from time to time and the alignment can be irritating at times. I think it's a great car especially for a first car.

Feeling sports car and cool to ride.
2 doors makes it more difficult to put a lot of stuffs inside your car. But I like the simplicity of the car. Because it was 2013 model not much good features you have to install it to upgrade it. I haven't experienced much trouble in this car except the tire got replaced for couple of times.

The scion tc is a fun car to drive!
I love the performance of my vehicle. The scion tc drives really well and is actually fun to drive. I have never had any major problems just regular maintenance. I love the look and sporty style of the vehicle and it came standard with a moon roof and custom mags. The color of my car is beautiful and I get many compliments.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Jackie M.

Came standard with a sunroof. Fun to drive. Eco option. Saves on fuel. Color options are very nice. I get complimented on the color often. Lots of space for a two door hatchback. Seats fold down nicely. I was able to transport a large smart TV. I have also used my vehicle for travel easily. Since 2013 have not had any issues.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Jackie M.

Front two wheel drive. The car is very low to the ground so you have to be careful when driving. Especially in the rain when I hit pockets of water. Also other cars usually do not see me. I have been hit two times because larger vehicles move into my lane without seeing my car. I have to be very aware of other drivers actions and anticipate their movement.

Is The 2013 Scion tC A Good Car?

Yes, it handles very well, even in snow. I live in northeast Ohio and I have only gotten stuck in the snow one time out of the 3 years I have been driving it.

Yes it is a very good vehicle. It is perfect for a first car but not made to be a family car no room to get a car seat in easily.
Charlotte B.

How Reliable Is The 2013 Scion tC?

I'd say that it is pretty reliable. Sometimes the check engine light comes on for no reason and I have had some troubles with the windshield wipers, but other than that it is great.
Jared R.

Carlos P.

Siri G.
The only problem is that it isn't very good on gas if you drive long distances a lot. Other than that no problems.

Is The 2013 Scion tC A Good Value?

The car cost $16000 at first but we negotiated a better price, I believe the car was worth the price.
Jared R.
The vehicle when I bought it was twelve thousand now you can find them for five thousand and I believe that is a great deal for the car and what you expect to get out of it.
Carlos P.
In 2013, the Scion TC was about $23,000. It is a great value because the car has been very reliable thus far.
Haley R.
It is a little pricey due to the fact that it is a sports car. It is Not worth the amount I pay a month
